And Here is Marvin's Mom's Christmas Card for this Year she had the ideas of the scene and she and Melanie worked very hard putting together the costumes and props and I made the Photo's and Card for her.

Well my Cool Fonts and Colors I used on our Real Letter are not on here, but here is our yearly Christmas/New Year Letter they are going out to Our Family, Friends, Church Friends, and Correspondents this week so if you are one of those you might want to wait and read it when you get it in the Mail :)

Happy New Year!!

We are almost out of my very favorite time of year, and it is time to send out our Yearly Greetings to Special Family and Friends!!! I have now decided to take one stress off of myself and start sending our Annual Christmas letter as a New Year’s Letter from now on. December is just so busy with 4 little ones and I never seem to get the letter and card ready to mail out until Christmas or a few days later so instead we will do a New Year’s letter and that will be more FUN for me!!! I did not make this decision until after I had created and had our Christmas Card for the Year printed up, so it still says Merry Christmas :)

If you have not heard from us much in the last 3 Christmas Seasons it is because 2 of the last 3 years I had a Christmas letter made up and pictures ready and wouldn’t you know it our printer broke (yes twice in 3 years in December LOL). Well of course at that time of year it is not the best time to be making the purchase of a new printer so we waited until later in the year and got one, but 2 printers breaking in the same month of December is not likely to happened again I hope. I kept telling myself I would send out a letter in the spring, but things got busy and it never got done.

Last year I was really looking forward to sending our letter because we had special news to announce!! So for those of you who don’t know last year in September 2010 we welcomed our 4th baby to the family.
Meadow Hadliegh Schlatter September 1, 2010. She is just 15 months now and we enjoy every moment with her she is fun, and spunky and so laid back- as she is the 4th child. She is quite used to being held or carted around because she has 5 loving and willing pairs of hands to hold her and take her everywhere we go and do everything we do!!! Meadow is small for her age at 15 months old most of her clothes are still 6-9 months, and she really has no desire to start walking yet, she recently just started cruising along the furniture, she definitely likes to do things on her own timing she did not crawl until 11 months old and she did not get her first teeth until just before her first Birthday, but she “gets” to everything eventually and she adores her big brother and sisters, and really loves the Animal’s too!!! She can say about 25 words now. She is quite the chatter box, and quite the enjoyment to the rest of her family!!!

So if Last year the BIG news was the arrival of Baby Meadow into our lives this year the Big News was we went on our first ever (other than trips to Colorado every year to visit family and friends) Our 1st Family Vacation. We headed out to Florida and Walt Disney World for a fun 10 day Vacation. We spent 7 days in the parks, 1 day at the Beach and one day at Down Town Disney. It was a wonderful trip and we are already talking about when we can go again!! Next time it will be between Thanksgiving and New Year’s though so we can enjoy the Magic of Christmas along with the Magic of Disney, and several friends who have recently gone during this season say the weather is Awesome and the ride wait is almost nothing! I grew up going to Disney both Disney Land and Disney World, but I had not been since I was 12 years old so it was a very special time for me to go back and remember all the special memories I have of going with my own Mom and Dad, but for the rest of my family this was their first trip and we all had a lot of fun Marvin’s Mom was even kind enough to come along with us to help out with Meadow who was just 8.5 months old and Tucker who was 3 years old when we went.

Marvin – Marvin remains at ADM working with Grain Accounting, Merchandising, Marketing, and his Hundreds of Farmers each year! Marvin also remains one of the most Amazing Daddy’s that I know he is very close to his kids and very involved in their day to day activities and they love him all the more for that too!! Marvin teaches Tuckers Sunday School Class 1 time each month, and he started teaching Willow’s 1st Grade Wednesday Night Bible Max Class at church too. This year he was asked to run for Church Board, he made it on the board this time and he really enjoys being part of the Church Board, working with the Pastors, and being on the Church Fellowship Committee of the Church Board. He is still on the Alumni Board for Smith Scholarship House where he lived in college as well. Marvin got to go skiing early this year which he loves and had not gotten to do for many years so he is excited that hopefully another time soon he and his friend Adam who he went with can go again sometime. Marvin also continues to have the Annual Country Boy Can Survive Hunting Trip he and his College Buddies and other friends do…up by his parent’s farm every year!!

Heather – Well what can I say I am a very busy Mommy to 4 that alone keeps me on my toes, with my 4 kido’s there is never a dull Moment for sure!!! This year I upgraded my Camera to the next professional level and I am really enjoying photography and learning more and more on a professional level. I was able to take an intermediate and advanced photography class this year and I joined a photography group with about 40 other adults from all over America we are all doing a project called Project 365 where we take at least 1 picture a day and really work on expanding our photography skills and abilities while having fun with pictures and editing. One of my good friends and I are in the group together and we have had so much fun doing all the research and expanding our skills together in both photography and Photoshop editing!! I have started doing some Photo Shoots again if you remember I got started with Family pictures and Weddings before I got pregnant with Tucker and then that all came to a halt so starting that back up is both enjoyable and skill expanding for me I really truly love to take pictures of others, and everything really!!! In fact a couple of weekends ago I got to shoot a wedding with one of my good Friends who is also a fellow Photographer!!! It was so much fun and we really got some creative and fun shots and I am finishing up my edits of the shoot this week. So my main focuses this year were being the Mommy to another new baby and her 3 great siblings, planning our trip to Disney the first 6 months of the year, and Photography and Editing the last 6 months of the year along with being on the Woman’s Planning Committee at church and helping Marvin teach Tucker’s Class once a month too.

Piper – Piper started 4th Grade this year which moved her up to a new school as the grade schools in our part of the school district are k-3rd and 4th – 6th. She is really enjoying her new Teacher, Principal, and School. She started Piano Lessons at the end of last year and still enjoys that, and she is really looking forward to starting voice lessons soon, and being in the City Wide Musical Production of Narnia she tried out for last week and the performances will be at the end of February. Piper loves to write songs, plays, and skits which she and Willow, and Grace (the next door neighbor / best friend / 4th Daughter (at least if feels like she is part of our family most of the time J) practice then perform for either Marvin and I or once in a while Marvin, I, and Graces family all at once J Piper is still very active in 4H she took Best of Breed for her 4H Bunny at the 4H County Fair this summer and she also got a couple of Champion Ribbons, and many Blue Ribbons and a couple of Red Ribbons too!!! Our rule is usually 1 activity per semester but since 4H is only once a month and she begged to be in Girl Scouts with Grace since Grace’s Mommy is the leader we let her do that too so she is doing something at least 2 to 3 Monday’s a Month and she is enjoying it a lot. Piper is doing great in school this year and excels the most in reading.

Willow – Willow my sweet sweet Willow girl started 1st Grade this year she is our Natural Brilliant child (shhhh we don’t tell her or her siblings that J) Willow has the best personality she is happy, outgoing, and a friend to many and she really enjoys school and art, and is showing a interest in Photography too!! Willow is the closest sibling to baby Meadow they have a real bond and they both just adore each other very much, but she also is very close with Piper and they spend all of their free time pretending making up skits, and playing House/School/ Veterinarian Clinic/ Disney princess – really anything they can dress up for and use their imaginations doing!!! Willow also really loves art and learning to write really pretty lettering she practices all the time and I am sure she must have the best writing in 1st grade because she has neater writing than most kids many years older than her. Willow also started 4H this year and is really enjoying that and being with Piper and Harley in their 4H club!!! She can’t wait until the 4H Fair this summer to show some of her own stuff. Willow will also be in Narnia the city wide Musical in February.

Tucker – Tucker is ALL Boy!!!! He must be ALL Boy as he will grow up with 3 sisters. He is all about Tractors and Trains and spends much of his day playing Farm in the living room. Tucker started 3 and 4 year old Pre-School this year on Tuesdays and Thursdays but he really would rather be home playing with his Mommy he tells me every time it is time to take him and leave him at Pre-School!! Tucker got to go to the Farm and stay a few times this year and he adores being at the Farm with Poppy Jim and Grandma Marianne and getting to spend time playing with his 7 boy cousins. I guess we are the “Girl” Family Marvin’s Older brother now has 3 boys and 1 girl, and his younger brother Mark welcomed baby boy #4 this month!!! Tucker is my happy joy (most of the time, but he is a Boy J ) each day and he always gives me lots of hugs and kisses and he is finally starting to let Baby Meadow start to play with him now too. He was really not sure for the 1st year or so of Meadow’s life if he really wanted to keep her or not, but now he is very protective of her and glad he has a new playmate during the days!!!!

Other noteable news for the year??? We still enjoy all of our Animals we said a very Sad Goodbye to Rickey the Cat (who really was what brought Marvin and I together as friends, then more, then married) who we really loved and enjoyed as a very important member of our Family for almost exactly 13 years! So our Family Zoo now consists of Clifford the BIG Black Dog, Porkers the small black Dog, Rufus the Cat, and Bandit the Cat, Autumn and Goldie the fish, and Arial the 4H Bunny. Marvin and I feel very blessed to have our Sunday School Class at church were we have 10 other couples who we can trust with our deepest needs, fears, joys, and praises each and every week!!! Last year our Sunday School Class merged with another class that started about the same time our class did 8 years ago and that merger has added new life to our class and new joy to each and every family involved!!!

Well I hope I have sufficiently caught you back up on our “little” family of 6 now!!! This year it was Thanksgiving and Early Christmas at the Farm and we will head out to Colorado for Christmas with family and friends there a few days after Christmas as a Family at home. Now I better go time to rush off and be a Mommy to 4 of 2 kids who just woke up from Naps and 2 kids who just got home from school!!!

Advanced Photography Class Pictures I was so Excited after this Class Learned so much!!! The True Beauty of Nature :)

So So So So Excited!!! Pictures from my Advanced Photography Class

at Dillon Nature Center on Saturday.

So back in October I took that Beginner / Intermediate Photography class and I learned some stuff but already knew a lot of it. So I did not know what to expect from the Advanced class I took this last Saturday.

I was so excited from the very beginning when we headed out to Dillon Nature Center to start shooting I was learning things right and left so I was so excited to finally be getting a good grasp of how to use my Camera in new ways and to really start grasping how to do All Manual Photography. I had read all the books for years but I think it took actually getting out there with my camera and an instructor to critique here and there and tell me when I had questions how to tweak it. By the end of the class I finally felt like I Really "GOT" it!!!! FINALLY after 13 years of shooting with an SLR I can finally turn off any of the Automatic settings and shoot in Manual Mode which means GREAT exposures, trial and error, and photography on a next level with not much editing to get it YEA!!!!!

So here are the Best of all the pictures I took on Saturday. I hope you enjoy the views as much as I did!!! What do you think?? I was just so excited because all of the Nature out there was so Beautiful and I really enjoyed getting to spend 4 hours with Nature and my Camera and all the time to play and learn!!! It was a great class!!! Can't wait to find some more and take classes on Night Shooting with Lights and Editing with Photo shop CS5 too! :)

Our first Shots were of this Great Waterfall we were learning how to do stop action with shutter speed and a tri-pod.

This was the scene from across the lake. My Photography teacher suggested to framer parts of our pictures with nature so the top right corner is framed with a tree. That tree was blowing all over so this shot took a few minutes to get until the leaves came back down and held still long enough for me to shoot.

The Oranges, Greens, Reds, and Yellow's were SO Brilliant and Gorgeous that day!!!

The Cherry's in the Trees were so pretty Here and in a few other pics.

These furry little thistles were so pretty hard to get then to stay still enough to capture the shot the wind was so so bad that day!!

FIRST you will probably WANT to click on these pictures bigger to see the REAL Detail and Beauty of those Feathery Pods they were gorgeous!!!

The two pictures below were some of the ones I worked the hardest on those feathery pods coming out of the Milk weed. The exposure was hard to get right because the white pod was in direct sun light so trying to expose for the white sunlit pod and still get the Beauty in the background! The first pictures is more straight out of the camera and the 2nd pictures I used some minimal dodging and burning to achieve that Fiery look below.

Some Red and Yellow, and Orange Peppers they looked pretty cool and waxy in person!

Our Photography teacher suggested we try shooting this eagle to practice hard exposures. I had to take about 30 pictures of this to get the few great ones I got after a lot of playing around.

This picture below was one of my favorite for the day because it literally had every color in the rainbow from White to Gray, to Brown and Black, to Red all the way down to Purple it was a fun shot, but to get the Detail you WILL Want to Click to see it BIGGER :)

I was not sure what kind of Plant this was maybe tomato but I am not sure they were coming out of the ground but they were red and black??

This turtle was in the middle of the lake really far away so this is cropped down quite a bit it is the only two pictures of the whole day I cropped down.

The teacher taught us to meter our light to expose for the Dark Turtle's Head or we would totally loose him in the shot. When you Zoom in on this Log and Turtle you can really see the detail in his striped skin and shell.

Just took a picture of this shrub quickly as I walked past it I was loving that tiny bit of red in all the darker colors.

This one below is taken by me laying flat on my back my Photography teacher had me do that to practice exposing for lots of light as opposed to shooting into the trees.

This lone Cherry Stem was not in a tree but was actually right next to the Milk Weed Pod you saw earlier.

The next 4 pictures are different pretty or unusual leaves I saw as we were walking around finding our subjects to shoot.

This bottom shot was another my Photography Instructor called me over to try to shoot with the Beautiful Oranges and Yellow's and that gorgeous sky peeking through the tree leaves and branches.

Project 365 - Pictures for Friday Oct. 7th 2011

Meadow's 1st Birthday Party

Friday October 7th 2011

I started this post out being the week of Oct. 7th through the 13th but when I was putting in all the pictures for the first day of the week which happened to be Meadow's first Birthday Party I had so many to add that this post is just for the one day of that week I will put the rest of that week in a separate post. These pictures are about half mine and half Tonya's my good friend who was gracious enough to help me do the photo's at Meadow's party! :) If you see multiples of the same picture on here please ignore it Blogger was giving me a heck of a time uploading these pictures. I could only upload one at a time with Internet Explorer so I downloaded FireFox browser and it would let me upload 20 or more at a time but it was a very frustrating way to upload them and I had a hard time with it and kept getting multiples so I finally gave up and just did what was fastest.

Even though Meadow's 1st Birthday was September 1st we were not able to have her 1st Birthday Party until Friday October 7th due to traveling out of State, having company several weekends, and other things that went on that month. So on Friday the 7th of Oct. we were very excited to finally be Celebrating Baby Meadow's First Birthday with Family and Friends.

Because so many of her outfits and things her first year happened to be Hot Pink and Zebra Print I decided to do her 1st Birthday Theme in Hot Pink and Zebra. I was able to borrow most of the Decorations from a good friend who had decorated and thrown a Pink and Zebra Party for a Family Member last year. It was sure fun to Decorate and do and I found that everything at Hobby Lobby had a Pink and Zebra section so it was very easy to plan the them!!!

The day before her party I found out the special Birthday Pettiskirt outfit I had special ordered for her was not going to come on time so I scrambled the night before to find her an outfit fit for a princess a tu tu princess that is. I ended up having to make and sew her shirt at 2pm the day of her party which was at 5:30pm but I found the Skirt and Boots and Socks at Hobby Lobby and Dillards in the Mall.

Late that morning and early afternoon Meadow and Tucker and I headed over to the Church to Decorate her Birthday Party room and then we went home for naps and to get ready for the party. I ordered her wonderful Pink and Zebra Cake from Wal-Mart if you can believe that!!!

My good friend Tonya and I double teamed to get all of the pictures our styles are similar so we had fun shooting together and I was very very pleased with the pictures we both got. Tonya was a Life saver to help out with Pictures that way I knew if I did not get a shot then she did it was fun!!!!

We had 10 Little Cesar's Pizza's and Bread sticks to share with everyone and drinks, then Cake and more Drinks we forgot to bring the High Chair for Meadow to dig into her Cake, and the Candle for the top of the Cake, and the Ice Cream to go with the Cake :)!!!

Here in the picture above are all the things I picked up the night before her party when I found out the outfit I custom ordered for her was not coming on time. I had no idea what I would find for a skirt so my first stop was at Hobby Lobby to find stuff to make her a cute Birthday Shirt so I bought everything I might need in Zebra, Hot Pink, and Black so when I found the skirt I would have whatever I needed to make the right colored shirt. I took 2/3rds of this back to Hobby Lobby after I made her, her Hot Pink and Zebra Birthday Shirt.

Below you can see the Zebra print Hat Box I found and that is what we put the Forks, Knifes, and Spoons in - A fun addition to Decorating!!

Here is the Table set up. I found all of this Hot Pink and Zebra stuff at Hobby Lobby and all the Decorations I borrowed from Tonya.

Above is the Picture of the cake I ordered from Wal-Mart the day before Meadow's Party I think they did a wonderful Job. I told them I wanted Hot Pink Border and Writing and I wanted the cake to be Zebra and I wanted a Big #1 with a Princess Crown on top of it. This is what they made I was so excited when I saw it!!!

Above are 2 of the 3 items that came in the "Cake Smash Set" it came with the Party Hat, the Bib, and the Bottom Bloomers she wore over her diaper you can see several pictures Tonya and I got of her crawling in them down further.

Above you can see the Treat Bags I found at Hobby Lobby and the Party Hats. Or at least I though they were party hats and then when they would not fit on any of the kids because the string was in Gross Grain ribbon and too short to fit over a child's head I was so disappointed because several of the little girls wanted to wear them. When I got home and saw the packages I figured out they were cones you hold upside down by the ribbon and put treats, candy, or flowers in them LOL!!!

Tonya's Great Angle of the Treat bags and "Party Hats" LOL. The Black and white zebra treat bags were for the boys and had more boy things in them and the pink and white zebra bags were for the girls and had more girly stuff in them.

Inside one of the girls treat bags. They had a Beaded necklace a flute, a jar of bubbles and bubble blower, a Kaleidoscope looking glass, some girly tattoo's and a few pieces of candy.

Paxton and Meadow were born 2 weeks apart and Tonya and I were Pregnancy Buddies on FB the whole time we were pregnant it was fun having a friend going through the same things you were at the same time. We were both pregnant with our 4th baby and we were due 5 weeks apart but Pax was 1 day late and Meadow was 3 weeks early so they were exactly 2 weeks apart. Tonya and I have joked that these two have an arraigned Marriage we are working out the Dowry requirements right now :)

Meadow and the 3 girls she considers her sisters (Piper and Willow really are her sisters but Next Door Best Friend Grace is always with us most of the time they are not in school or not home so Meadow adores Grace and I am pretty sure she considers her another "Big Sissy"!!! Plus Grace fits in with our family well. She and Piper have played together non stop since they were 3 years old. They are 1 month apart in age and really play so well together and they also do such a good job at incorporating Willow and Tucker into their pretend play every day!! We are so Blessed to have Grace and her family as our next door neighbors. Grace and Piper and Willow are Best friends, but Tasha Grace's Mom is also one of my few Best friends in life as well!!!

So now we are up to Wednesday the Middle of our Disney Vacation. That night we had scheduled a Character Dinner. There are lots to choose from but since we planned our trip on a short time span the only one available while we were there was the Goofy and Pluto Dinner. I am so glad we ended up at this Character Dinner the kids loved it and we had a lot of fun. The Restaurant was so yummy and the scenery was awesome and happy, and fun. The food and desserts were also pretty Amazing!!!

While there we Celebrated Willow's upcoming 7th Birthday and Tucker's upcoming 4th Birthday and they sang Happy Birthday to them and brought them Birthday treats as well!!! It was fun for both of them to get these special treats!!

Thursday May 26th was the Day we planned out to go to Hollywood Studio's. We loved Hollywood Studio's the whole park is set like in the Hay Day of Hollywood, there are street performers all over doing fun skits and movie scenes and the whole Park has this very cool Vintage Hollywood Feel to it!!! I think Hollywood Studio's just might be my 2nd Favorite Park it was so much fun!

The kids loved the Muppet's section, the Art of Animation and learning how the Disney Animated Movies are made. Disney Jr. Live was pretty much a hit, Piper loved the Little Mermaid show, and Fantasmic their Night time show was just simply Amazing!!! We had so much fun there!!

At Hollywood Studios from May 20th to around June 15th every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday they have Star Wars Weekends. Real Actors that were in the Star Wars Movies both the original 4,5,6, and the newer 1,2,and 3 come to Hollywood Studios and they have Big Star Wars Weekends Parades and Character Meetings were you can meet the Actors who come to the Disney Parks. Darian was so excited about this and he could not wait to get to Hollywood Studio's to be part of Star Wars Weekends and get his Light Saber.

The Beach, The Make Overs and Disney Day #3 Our Busiest Day!!!

On Tuesday the 24th our 3rd Day in Florida we decided after 2 days in the Parks, and 1 day of traveling we were ready for a Lazy Day at the Beach. Little did we know that trip would be anything but Lazy!!!

We had decided of our choices to go to the Atlantic Ocean Beaches or the Gulf Coast Beaches which were an hour further away than the Atlantic Beaches we would prefer the Gulf Coast Beaches because they were said to be warmer and calmer than the Atlantic Beaches. So it was supposed to be about a 2 hour drive away from where we were. The Drive was about 2 hours away to the Town we were going to but then due to bad instructions it took us about another hour and a half to get to where we were going and then still did not ever end up on the Island we had planned on going to because we got there about 2:30pm the next ferry out to the Island did not leave until 3:35pm and the Island closed at 4:30pm and the ferry would cost us about $70 to take out to the Island. So we went to another Beach in the State Park System called Honey Moon Cove Beach system. We got there just after 2:30pm and they started picking up the Beach Chairs and Umbrella's at about 4:30, so Our day at the Beach turned into 2 hours at the Beach, but all was O.K. we had fun there anyway and the kids got their first taste of the Ocean and making sand castles!!!!

Baby Meadow was about 8 1/2 months old when we went to Florida and she thought the most fun part of the Beach was eating the Sand :) She got all covered in sand and she was the hardest to clean up when we left she was so caked with Sand and had a Blow Out Poopy Diaper under that cute Mermaid Swim Suit. However she was so adorable the whole time at the Beach who could care about the Messy Mess she was when we left?? :)

Tucker was not so excited about getting in the Ocean he only got in once for a few minutes and he spent the rest of his time playing in the Sand with Grandma Schlatter and making Sand Castles. About 2 months after we got Home he came running up to me one day and said "Mommy, I am ready to get in the Ocean now Let's go to the Beach!!!" Ummmmmm Tucker we live in the smack dab middle of Kansas I don't think we can go back to the Beach anytime soon LOL!!! Tooo Cute! :)

Wednesday May 25th was our Busiest Day at Disney but also I think our most Fun!!!

Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique is located inside The Magic Kingdom in Cinderella's Castle. The Fairy God Mothers who help transform every girl to their choice of Pretty Princess, Pop Princess, or Diva Princess, come out to get each girl show them their Princess Make Over choices and then they spend about an hour Making them into a Princess at the end they take a magic wand filled with Pixie Dust and they spin them around in circles saying the statement Cinderella's Fairy Godmother said to her and sprinkling them with Pixie Dust Glitter then they show them what they look like. It was a wonderful experience and the girls loved it. Grandma Paula and I wished they had picked Pretty Princess or Diva Princess like Willow's Pretty Hair Piece but Piper and Harley both picked Rainbow Hair Pop Princess. Willow picked Blond Hair Diva Princess. They also received cool Make Up to take home, fake nails to take home, Jewels for their faces, a gorgeous Bracelet, and lots of cool hair accessories plus their Hair Piece all for about $52 a girl.

Tucker and Darian went over to the Pirates of the Caribbean Pirates League Make Overs for $29 they received a Pirate leather Sash, A Cool Sword, a Pirate Facial Paint Make Over of their choice, an eye patch, fake Pirate Teeth, 3 Tattoo's, a heavy very cool metal Pirate Medallion Necklace, and a Real Pirate Name and Certificate of becoming a Pirate. Plus they could be in that day's Pirate Parade if they were around at that time of day and wanted to be in the Parade.

So there you have Page 17 to Page 24 of our 52 page Disney Trip Family Scrap Book.

Hi All,

Well as I promised, I am adding 8 more pages of our Digital Disney Scrap Book I spent spare time on making the last 6 weeks. Now I have slowly started on the Paper Version which will have more fun embellisments and cute papers ect... I have a feeling it will take me forever to get that done, but it will be fun to do, too!

So here are the next 8 pages out of 52 pages. If you want to read the journalling on the Scrap Book pages just click on the picture you will be able to see it large. I really can't wait to go back because there are so many things we wanted to do but ran out of time and now that I am so much more into Photography on an Artsy Level it would be fun to go and get more Artsy shots I think!!! I hope you enjoy!

Tomorrow I am posting Piper's Scrap Book she made for the 4H County Fair that won her a Grand Champion Purple Ribbon!!! She had fun making her very first Scrap Book Album too :)!!

Page #9 and Page#10 were pictures of things we considered to be our favorite things at The Magic Kingdom. As I was making the Scrap Book on the Disney Site, I realized I had lots of pictures of our Favorites so I made a 2 page layout of things that were our Favorite things to do, see, watch a show, or do the activity, rides, and even our favorite yummy treats too!!

Some of our Favorite things from The Magic Kingdom Park were, It's a Small World. That ride NEVER gets old I love seeing all the pretty things in it and I could ride it several times and see new things each time! We LOVED Fast Passes they saved us waiting in long lines on so many rides. We learned how to do the parks without having to wait more than 15 to 20 minutes for a ride, and most rides we walked right onto that is totally the way to do it!! Can't wait to go back!!! Other Favorites were The Mad Hatter Tea Party, Tea Cups ride, Big Thunder Mountain roller coaster, Peter Pan's Flight, Haunted Mansion (another favorite from when I was a kid and my parents took me), Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear ride and many many more!!! :)

Epcot Day #2 we went out to Epcot we decided our first Day at Epcot would be spent visiting all of the Countries from around the world taking in the culture and letting the kids get Pass Ports and doing their pass ports in each country. Our 2nd Day at Epcot later in the week would be more for Doing Future World, and meeting all the Characters.

And here below are pictures and words on all of our Favorites from the Epcot Parks, we had so much fun on both days there I could easily spend another whold day just doing things we wanted to do but missed!!!

Project 365.

Hi Everyone I came today to write 3 posts. One to Share the First 8 pages of our Disney Photo Scrap Book I have been working on whenever time allows the last 6 weeks. I will share 8 pages a day several days this week until I have shared the whole book. We have been working little by little on the Paper Versions of our Disney Books too so I have more to share of them too! :)

I am also going to share two posts from my NEW Photography / Project 365 Blog. I joined a Photography Group this summer and about 30 of us from all around the country have started the 365 Journey with our Photography we all started on different days some as early as the end of June, and some as late as October 1st. We all have different goals for what we want to accomplish with our P365's.

My Good Friend Jess and I have a goal in common we both moved up to the Professional/Semi Professional Camera Levels this last summer and we both want to not just learn our Camera's backwards and forwards and all that we can do with them (They are amazing camera's) but we also want to LEARN Photography and Post Picture Editing in Photo shop CS5 and Lightroom3.

I started my P365 on September 1st which was also Meadow's 1st Birthday so I took 947 pictures of her throughout the day and ended up editing my favorite 80 some pictures and it has taken me 3 weeks to finish editing them so I could do my first post on my new blog. Heather's Heavinly Photogations. I have my first two weeks posted now and will be adding more picture posts nearly daily now.

So if you are one that comes to the blog only to hear Family Stories and see Pictures my Photography Blog will now be updated nearly everyday with Pictures and Fun Family Stories, and this blog will have some of that, but more of my

There were about 9 Covers you could choose from and a couple of them were real Leather covers. I choose this one because Cinderella's Castle and Tinkerbell seemed to be a running theme throughout our Disney Vacation. Our real cover is personalized in the bottom right corner it is embossed in the same Silver Foil as the picture and it says

Well there are the 1st 8 pages I hope you enjoy them. It took me 6 weeks to make this book so that is a big part of why I have not had much of a chance to Blog in the last month and a half or so. The Book was a Blast to Make I just deleted Disney's pre created pages and started from scratch. I choose the "stickers", text/ journalling, picture frames, pictures, backgrounds, and page layouts all on my own and I LOVED doing it. It only took so long because I had to only work on it when I was not busy with the kido's :) I also loved that you could choose between 3 kinds of Photo's 1.) Disney's Photo Gallery Pictures (like the old post card pictures)

2.) Disney's Photo Pass pictures you had taken of your family while at Disney World.

and

3.) Your own pictures you upload from the Internet. About 75% of the pictures in the book are pictures I uploaded from my computer but I do have a few Disney Gallery pictures, and many Disney Photo Pass pictures of our family.

Starting off my Project 365

September 1st 2011 Beginning Day - Also Baby Meadow's 1st Birthday

Of the 946 pictures I took of Meadow on her 1st Birthday from before she woke up at 8:20 am until she went to bed finally around 1am (she was wired that night :) I was trying out new settings on my Computer and playing with light and composition these were the 77 that I liked the best and edited so I could share them as my first 365 post. It took me 3 weeks to finish editing them so my first Project 365 post is a bit later but finally all done now I can add all of the other pictures I have taken each day after September 1st my,

I get to be the littlest Student in the School Game. I have all the BEST Parts!!!

Project 365 Day #2 Friday, September 2nd

Marvin brought Meadow home a Birthday Cake from the Store because we knew it would be several weeks before her party and he wanted her to have her Birthday Cake before then. The kids had fun Blowing out her Candles and helping her eat her very first piece of cake!!! She LOVED her piece of cake TOO!! :)

Meadow Petting Rickey the Cat. Rickey was not doing well before we left on our trip and we were afraid he might not be around when we got back so we got some pictures of him with the kids before we left on our trip.

Project 365 Day #3 - Saturday, September 3rd
We headed out early Saturday morning about 5am to drive the 8 hours to Pueblo My Home Town for Labor Day weekend, we met up with lots of family, had a Pic Nic in the park, and went to a Birthday Party and a Memorial Service. These Pictures were taken at the Pueblo City Park Kiddie ride Park that has been around since my Mom was a little girl. I have found memories of riding these rides as a little kid! :)

I was trying to play with Depth of Field and using Shutter Speed on Manual settings to show motion in my pictures below.

On Sunday of Labor Day weekend we went to Brooke One of my oldest friends daughter's Birthday Party, and because Meadow was born in September Brooke shared a little of her Birthday Party with Meadow it was cute!!! Broke had a Disney Princess Party and her house was decorated like a Castle!!!

My Mom was at Brookes Party too and she enjoyed some time playing with Meadow.

Also over Labor Day weekend we met up with my Dad's side of the Family the Walker's and we got to spend a lot of time with my Cousins hanging out and on Sunday Afternoon we had a Memorial Service for My Dad, and all of the Walker cousins Grand Parents Grandpa and Grandma Walker.

Project 365 Day #6 - Tuesday, September 6th
In the Hotel we stayed in while in my home town Pueblo Co. over Memorial Day weekend all 3 of the older kids all slept on one bed we just put them 3 in a row side to side instead of top to bottom it worked great and they had plenty of room. I tried to get a good picture of the 3 of them but I ended up only getting a great one with 2 of them the 3 of them were too sprawled out.

I thought this picture was sweet of Willow and Tucker sound asleep together.

Project 365 Day #7 - Wednesday, September 7th
We have 3 Cats, 2 Dogs, 3 Fish, and 1 4H Bunny at our house. Our very special Cat Rickey, the cat that has always wanted to be a big part of things, the first one to great a new baby when they come home from the hospital, the only one to allow said babies to learn it is not O.K. to pull the Kitty's Fur, tails, or legs, yet he just lays there and takes it as if to teach them a lesson in life. The Cat who is curious about everything and want's to be with us even when the others have no desire to be with our crazy brood.

Anyway this summer Rickey was throwing up a lot but he was in good spirits and he ate all the time. He always slims down in the summer and beef's back up in the Winter, so when we saw him loosing weight we did not think anything of it.

Towards the end of summer we realized he had not just slimmed down he had lost over 10 lbs and looked horribly sick and malnurished

So when we left on our Trip to Colorado we were pretty certain he was not going to make it the 3 days till we got back we all took extra time to tell hime how loved he was we had the kids take pictures with him, and I set up a special area where he could get to food and water without doing much work.

Amazingly when we got home he had taken a turn for the better but was still very week, so we started buying him Wet Cat food so he can eat it better and I started feeding him every couple of hours until he built his strength back up. He is still very thin, but is gaining weight little by little and he has much more energy and gumption now, we are praying for many more years with our Precious Rickey Cat!!!

These pictures are of Rickey eating his Kitty Beef Gravy and Canned Cat Food which is a HUGE treat at our house they only get if they are sick or need something for pills ect..

Project 365 Day #8 - Thursday, September 8th
We decided to help the girls pull things out of drawers and closets and organize and clean carpets in their room. I walked by and saw Meadow sitting up on her legs like this for the first time just watching her Daddy do Carpets she loves her Daddy so much and this picture to me shows her total "AWE" of her Daddy!!!

Happy to be BACK!!!!

Hello Happy Monday!! How are you?? I am Great!!!

So you may wonder where I have been the last 2 months and the answer is very Easy. First we were at DISNEY WORLD for 10 days then we came home and the morning after we got home I woke up sick, and was pretty sick for about 3 1/2 weeks, while Marvin was gone about 18 hours a day in Wheat Harvest.

Then the rest of the summer has been spent spending time with the kids, enjoying the Baby, and Scrap Booking, Working on Disney Photo Book on line, Editing and Embellishing our Disney Photo Pass Pictures (we started with the Disney Photographers taking 391 pictures by the time I ordered them last week there were 2,291 might as well get our moneys worth right??? It costs the same to order 1picture on your photo pass CD or to order 2,300 so I added every size and boarder there was...... well almost LOL!!!!) Another Big part of my summer was right before we left for Disney my Lap Top Mother Board Blew and I lost our Lap Top/ Extra Computer. Then about 6 weeks after we got back our Desk Top Crashed while I was working on the Disney Photo Book uuuuugggghhhh you have got to be kidding me right??? 2 computers crashing in 6 weeks???? So after the Lap Top crashed we did not replace it because we still had the desk top and wanted to finish paying the Disney Expenses off from while we were in Florida before we got a new computer. BUT..... after the Desk Top Crashed we did not have a choice we had to get a new computer so now we have a new lap top and plan to replace the Desk Top as time and money allows!!

We also spent the last 10 days or so getting ready for the 4H Fair and being at the County 4H fair. Piper got 11 Ribbons this year Purple's are Superier, Blues are next then Red's, and I am not sure what comes after that. Piper took Best of Breed on her Bunny Rabbit and got a Champion Ribbon in addition to her Purple Ribbon, and she got a Champion Ribbon on her Scrap Book about her 4H Bunny that died in the heat 2 weeks before the fair. So she had 2 Champion Ribbons, 3 other Purple Ribbons, 4 Blue Ribbons, and 2 Red Ribbons. Willow entered Gardening in the open class and got a 2nd Place, and Tucker entered Gardening in the Open Class and got a 3rd Place.

Now I am ready to start sharing some of the pictures of what we have been up to on the Disney Pictures and lots of Disney Pictures to share!!

Not long after we got back from Disney Grandma Paula started making these Mini Albums for Darian and Harley and we loved them so much we ran out and got the supplies we did not have yet and we started making them too. Then they got put on hold a bit because I had to finish the Disney Photo Pass Pictures, and this week we have started working on them again. So my plan is to show you a new Day of Disney Scrap Book Page for Piper and Willow every day so you can slowly see pictures and see the Trip, and all the fun we had!!!

So Here are the pictures from the first page of Their Disney Mini Album Scrap Books we have been working on. Also the First Page of the Disney Photo Book I have spent many many hours creating on the Disney Photo Pass Web site. That book is not quite finished so the pictures are pictures of the Book on my computer not the actual book because it has not been ordered just yet. My Goal is to finish it this week and get it ordered.

The Covers of the Mini Albums for Piper and Willow. I will start Tucker and Meadow's when I finish Piper and Willow's books.

Here is Pipers Cover alone she choose the Card Stock Die Cut of Mickey that says "Dreams really do come True" She also chose the cute silver metal Mickey to go on front of her Album.

Willow's book has the Die Cut that says "Vacation Tips" Bring laughs and smiles,.....Pack in Fun.....See the Sights.....Make a Trip to Remember.

Out of the top of the cover pulls out the first Picture Collage we made of our Traveling to Florida day. Saturday May 21st.

Piper's Picture Collage. The middle Picture is of her eating her Ice Cream we bought the kids on our Layover in Atlanta Georgia on our way from Wichita KS, to Orlando FL.

The picture in the upper left corner is one of Grandma Marianne with Tucker and Meadow in the Atlanta Airport, and the other two pictures across the bottom are of the Girls and Mommy and the older 3 kido's and Daddy in our Gray/ Black Disney Garb. Each day we all wore the same color so we ended up having a Gray/ Black Day, Red Day, Purple/ Lavender, Yellow, Turquoise, and Orange Day. Our Traveling Day there was Gray / Black Day and on the way home it was Turquoise Day.

And here is Willow's first Picture Collage we made of traveling day. We made this before Piper's so it did not have the picture of Grandma Marianne and Tucker and Baby Meadow.

The First inside page pull out Pocket.

Each Mini Album Page is made using 2 1/2 Business Size Envelopes. We went out and Bought Colored Envelopes to make them look even more cool. Each Front and Back page of the Envelope has 4 pull out pockets you can put things in Out the Top of the Front, down where the Metal Castle and Metal Mickey are is a small pocket you could put something in but we did not on this first page / Cover of the book. The out the side pulling out horizontally. We put their Baggage Claim Tickets from the Flights in the Horizontal pull out pocket.

Her is Pipers you can see how the top picture pulls out and how the horizontal pocket pulls out.

and here is Willow's for some reason Piper's is not on in the above picture but we added a decorative paper clip and ribbon to pull out the top pictures of of the inside long pocket.

The 2nd Page / Back of First Page of Mini Album. You fold the Envelopes differently on the back page so it has two larger pockets to put Scrappy Goodies and pictures in to pull out and look at.

A Very Exciting Week, A Baby Birthday Party, A Crazy Rash, and a Teacher Appreciation Card.

An Interesting last few weeks, A Party,

and a Rash

Hi Stampers, Friends, and Family,

How Are you all doing??? Well the last few weeks have been so busy, and so filled with little and Big Things here and there.

This week however the EXCITEMENT is running rampant at our house. Because in a few days we are leaving for our first Family Vacation other than going to Colorado every year to visit family and Dear Friends to Disney World and Florida for 10 days. The kids ran around the house all night tonight so so so Excited and yelling every few minutes ........ WE.......ARE......GOING......TO......DISNEY......... WORLD.......IN......4.......DAYS!!!!! The kids just can't get over the Excitement and it is so so so so so FUN to watch, the excitement is very catching.

This last weekend was so busy we had a Tea Party for the girls to go to, and A HUGE Graduation party with food for 500 people and a LIVE Band among other things. And the most FUN event of the weekend was Baby Meadow's First Invited to Birthday Party for a little baby turning one at church. It was a blast and the pictures which were all taken by a friends of mine are so so so cool!!! You can see them below.

I am so behind on things like getting the Teacher Appreciation Gifts ready and school is over for the girls in 3 days this Friday.

A couple of weeks ago Tucker got this bad strain of the Stomach Bug Going around it lasted 6 days poor boy he just laid on the floor for 6 days and had such horrible stomach pain. He finally got better and is trying to slowly gain some weight back after not eating anything for 6 days every time he would eat it would come right back up. My New carpets took a beating that is for sure!!!

Then just about the time I was feeling like I could catch back up Piper came down with the same crazy painful stomach virus. Hers was so bad I thought she might have Appendicitis and so did her Dr. So last week on Wednesday they did a CT Scan and some other tests to rule out Appendicitis.

In the end it turned out not to be her Appendix, but she did turn out to be VERY Allergic to the Contrast Dye that they used for her CT Scan as you will see in the pictures below. Her whole body broke out in a really really crazy rash. Sunday we took her to the ER because it was getting worse and worse and they gave her a Steroid Shot and an oral Steroid she is taking and she is doing so so so much better. We are just Happy she is back to being Healthy and the Rash is quickly disappearing and is so much better in just a few days!!!

Well here are some of those totally adorable pictures from the 1st Birthday Party 8 month old Baby Meadow got invited too it was just too cute!! Baby Meadow is on the left and Ade the little girl who was turning one is on the right.

And here are a few pictures of Piper's Rash she got from the Allergy to the Dye from the CT Scan.

Poor girl she was so miserable I am so glad the Steroid Shot helped fast and she is doing so much better now!!!

And last here is a Couple of Cards I am going to have the girls give their Teachers for Teacher Appreciation Gifts this week. They are done using Bella's from The Stamping Bella Company, and they have Gift Cards inside the Card.

This Card is the size of a Card you would buy at the Store from Hal mark or somewhere like that.

The Sentiment says My Teacher....... My HERO!!!

Above is the teacher Bella and the Picture of Piper's Teacher in the Circle.

The Bottom of the card had Superstar Bella on it to show that a child's Teacher is their Hero as well.

Well I am off to bed to to to to much to do in the next couple of days and I am already so so so behind!!!

I shared this card yesterday but Today it is so much more true than ever before, I LOVE my life and you could not pay me a Million dollars to have any other life than what I have now....

I am a Mommy... what is your Super Power???

Stages of Mommy Hood Card:

So Tucker has been sick for 5 days from the Stomach Flu Throwing up, and the like, and is finally getting better Thankfully, and Piper started with the Stomach Bug last night so she is home today.

The phone rings in the kitchen and she walks across the living room into the Kitchen to answer it and gets it, turns around to walk towards me She literally goes from Upright walking and flys off her feet flys in the air and lands on her head I am so scared and worried she could have really caused damage or really hurt something. I run towards her and see it is my husband calling so I quickly answer tell him what is going on and that I have to go take care of her when I look through the kitchen window and realize that the 6 foot wooden gate in the background has been blown open in our hurricane like winds today.
The DOGS are GONE.

Piper is crying and I am worried she really did hurt herself my husband is on the phone asking if everything is O.K. the baby wakes up in the background in her bassinet in our bedroom crying to be fed, and THE DOGS are GONE!!!!!!! Where do I go first????

I get Piper in the rocking chair settle her in not spending nearly enough time with her after what she has gone through but I have DOGS running loose somewhere and a Baby crying..... Husband says I am stuck at work I can't come home your gonna have to go find them by yourself.

O.K. so I leave the screaming Baby, and the Crying Hurt Piper, and the Sleeping Tucker and drive around looking for the DOGS who are gone???? So I call the neighbor to see if she can keep an eye on the kids while I drive off looking for the dogs but nope she is subbing at school for today. So I give Piper the phone with my Cell Phone number punched in for her to dial if something happens and she needs me get dressed quickly and tell the baby I am sorry I will be back very soon to feed you..... Because a 7 month old understands all of that right?????

So I get my Car keys which were not where they were supposed to be and I look all over for them finally finding them in the 3rd Jacket I check the pockets of and I tell Piper I will be right back. I get in the Van lock the Garage door and drive around the neighborhood. NO DOGS.....

I call Piper she is fine, so I drive the Neighborhood to the North then to the South NO DOGS..... So I drive all 3 Neighborhoods again. NO DOGS.....

I then give up because I need to get home to my Screaming (not anymore by the time I get home) Baby who is STARVING according to her, and my crying hurt child who just went flying in the air landing on her head on the wood floor. I reserve myself to the fact that I will call the pound once the kids are all settled to make sure my DOGS who are on the loose have not been picked up and taken to the pound, and I pull up into my driveway where THE DOGS are patiently waiting at our back door back in the yard waiting to be let in from our Hurricane like winds....

So I finally get them inside and check on all the kids who are all alive and doing somewhat O.K. and I go out to try and fix the gait which is impossible with these Hurricane like winds the Huge Fence is blowing as I try to push it shut and get the barrier board through the slots in the fence and at the same time trying to move the 10lb Cinder blocks over to the Fence pulling my Groin muscles and straining my neck while trying to get the gate shut. Then a Huge wind comes up and the Fence comes flying undone and wackes me upside the head turning my ear black and blue instantly and rubbing off the skin front he side of my head and my ear..... But I am the Mommy I MUST Prevail right???

So I finally WIN I get the fence closed and 3 10 pound Cinder blocks in front of it. I go in pick up the screaming baby calm down Piper, and at that very Time Willow comes running in the Kitchen door from the School Bus. I sit everyone down hugging on them all at the same time telling them all it is all O.K. and I am here, and quickly calming all of their upsets and hurts......

At this very minute my Husband walks in takes one look at us and says. "Oh I was afraid you were having a hard time after our phone call but it looks like everything here is calm and under control now" " I guess I can go back to work now" ........ Really???? Yep I guess it all is under control NOW, because I AM The MOMMY!!!! LOL!!!!

We have laughed and laughed about the Humor of it all for the last hour what a day, what a day..... I LOVE my life I really truly do!!!!! :-) You could not Pay me a MILLION Dollars to give it up, it is a fun, never boring life, and it keeps me on the go and busy!!!! I could not enjoy anything more than I do this life!!!!

Hello and Happy Friday Everyone!!!

I am glad to be back and able to post again after having my blog hacked into and not being able to post for about 10 days. Whoever hacked into my blog changed some code so I couldn't post, but now I can again.

This week my little 3 year old came down with the 7 day Stomach Bug that is going around town. He has thrown up for 5 days straight and just tonight seems to be feeling much better just in time for his big Sissy Piper to start throwing up. I think I might need a long vacation after this has been through all the kids!!!! Oh Wait we are leaving for Disney World in 3 weeks so I will have a long Vacation. Now I am just praying that everyone will be healthy and ready to fly by the 21st of May!!!! Woooo Hooo!!!!

Well 3 Years ago another Stamper Lauren Meader made a Mother's Day card like this Using Stamping Bella's to signify the different stages of each recipients Mommy Hood Life.

The Background Paper was Black with White Polka Dots and I colored them all the colors I used on the Card so the Polka Dots matched the Matted Circles of the Bella's.

I stamped Each Bella in Full then colored them and then punched out the parts of the Stamp that I wanted in the Circle Punch. Then I got colored card stock and punched the next bigger circle to Matte each Bella with.

Mommyhood Stages of Life:

1. Get Married, 2. Pregnant with your first Baby, 3. Mommy on the Go with the Mini Van, 4. Another Baby right away added to her life, 5. Stuck in your Robe and in NEED of Sleep with two small kids to take care of. 6. A Mommy is a Dr., 7. A Mommy is a Maid, 8. A Mommy is a Teacher, 9. A Mommy provides and brings the food to her kids, 10. A Mommy is Mr. Fix it, 11. Mommy's Plan the Parties and Special Moments for their Kido's 12, A Mommy Make things nice and Pretty like Bright Spring Flowers, 13. A Mommy is a good Friend to her close people in her life, 13. You Are a MOMMY... You Are a SUPER HERO!!!!

Some of my Mommy's had a few extra stages of Mommy Hood so I added those to the inside of the Card.

On the Top of the Card I wrote out the Stages of their Mommy Hood so that they could understand what the significance of all the Bella's are.

Here are the Father's Day Cards I am making for this year. I used Billy Super Hero from Pink Cat Studio the Sentiment is also from Pink Cat. The Silver Paper Super Hero Billy is on is that great Shimmery Silver Thick Metallic Card Stock I LOVE so much!!!

Below is another Card I made for Harvest for some Farmer's. The Background is sponged on and in order to sponge the blue sky but leave the wheat the right color you Stamp all the Wheat Pieces and then you paint on Versa Mark Clear Ink and Clear embossing Powder and then you Heat Emboss it, After that you can Sponge other inks over and it will just bubble up over the embossed part and you can wipe it off. That way you can keep your embossed images the color and shape they are before you sponge the background.

This Next Card is done using Black Magic Technique.

You stamp your stamp in White Craft Ink let it Dry then get out Pure Color Pencils and color on top of the White Ink to create whatever colors and Blending you want to do. Lastly take your White Gel Pen to accent dimension on your image. This card I made for a couple of really good friends.

Hi everyone,

My Blog was hacked into a little over a week ago and for some reason because of that I have not been able to upload any pictures for about 9 days. Blogger is working on it and I am waiting for a 2nd reply from them so I can start posting pictures again.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am alive and well, and I have 3 Projects done to show you and Lots of FUN Easter Pictures I spent hours trying to post on Sunday night and Monday night so as soon as I can upload pictures again I will be sharing all of that with you.

"Lily as a Princess" - Gift Set

Hi All,

Well I am going to share with you a Kit my two oldest daughters and I made this week for a little girls Birthday Party. I needed a gift for one of Piper's little friends, and I thought of this idea to make a "Princess Art Kit".

In other news. It has been an interesting week, but in the end a good one overall. Tucker has been up at the farm with Grandma and Poppy Jim (Marvin's Parents who live 3 hours away) He LOVES the farm and would live up there if we let him!!! My girls have been really excited because their cousins Abi, and Nate were coming down for the weekend to go to a play at our Children's Theater in town the Play is "A Little House on the Prarie" Unfortunetly we got the call today that Abi and Nate and all of their siblings are all sick so they won't be able to make it. I told my girls when I had to tell them and they were so disappointed that Abi and Nate are probably more disappointed then even they are so we should think of them more then ourselves right now. Poor kids they were really excited all of them I am pretty sure!! We also have tickets to ride this old antique Steam Train on Saturday so Marvin's Mom is still coming down to bring Tucker home and we will still go to the play with our kids and Marvin's Mom, and on the Train on Saturday so not all is lost Yea!!!!

Meadow and I have enjoyed our Mommy and Baby alone time this week we don't get that very often so we really enjoyed that time!!!! Meadow is sitting up by herself really good now so that is a LOT of fun and she no longer wants to be layd down anywhere. Her current favorite place is in the Laundry Basket with her favorite toys she adores being sat up with toys and a blanket in the Laundry Basket!!! Too Funny, and Too Cute!!!! She just gets so excited to sit in there and I am not quite sure why, but she is!!! So Friday late morning I get my boy back and, we sure have missed his excitement and boyish play around our house this week!!!!! So excited to have the whole family back together tomorrow!!!

Marvin's Mom is also coming down to help start making some plans on meals and such when we all go to Florida and Disney World next month Yea!!!!

I bought a Cute Princess bag. I was going to make my own, but when I saw this one and the Crown comes off to make the little girl a crown I knew it would be perfect for this gift.

So there was a gift bag, Scented Crayons, Journal, Book with pages to paint, Water Color Paints, Pencils, a cute lavender and Velvet Feathered Pen, and Disney Princess Rings. I changed the Disney Princess rings into a Lily Princess ring, and made all the other items "Lily Princess" decorated items to go in the "Princess Art Kit"

Lily was colored up 3 different ways Light pink dress, and bright pink and lavender accents, Bright Pink Dress and light pink and lavender accents, and lavender dress and light and dark pink accents. I learned it takes about 5 to 6 minutes to cut out each Lily. I have never timed it before, but when you are cutting out 11 of them you start looking at the clock. I tried a bunch of different ways to make it faster and all of them took 5 to 6 minutes. I have told Melissa over at Pink Cat Studio we need a Lily Punch!!! LOL

Here are a view close up's of the altered art items to make them Princess Lily art items. I used my shimmerz paints in various places all over the kit items to really make them sparkle!!!!

Here is the "Princess Lily" ring I made.

The crown looks red, but it is light pink and bright pink. My girls loved them. Another favorite of thiers was the Pretty velvet and feathered lavender Pen with "Princess Lily" on it!!

I just added the above close up so you could see the Shimmerz I painted on different images of the "Princess Lily's" and the Accessory images of the kit.

Well I hope the little girl who gets this loves it. The next one will go faster because I know what I want to do now, but this took me around 5 hours to do this project over a couple of days, but that is mostly because I had to design it and start from scratch and next time I will have a much better idea of what I want. Maybe next time I will not be cutting the Lily's out, or at least not 11 of them anyway!!! LOL.

"Pretty in Pink Project"

Hello and Happy Friday Everyone!!!

Well I had so much fun making this project last night!!! I think after taking about a 5 month sabbatical after having a Baby I am at a point I can start stamping and creating again on a more normal basis not just once or twice a week like I have been since January, and you know what if felt so good to color and stamp and create last night!!! So you should be seeing many more posts from me now that I finally have a baby sleeping all night and am getting more sleep myself!!!

I made this Card for a special Design Team I decided to submit my application to. The iCopic Store is calling for a New DT and you know I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, my Copic Markers and the iCopic Store. You too can apply for this DT Call if you LOVE Copics, coloring and all things iCopic you can see the DT Call Post on their Blog here: I shared several pictures below because while playing with my new Professional Canon Camera I have def. been getting lots of different results so I am learning each time I use it. You can see some of the differences below!!! I LOVE my New Camera!!! Cannon EOS 60D Yea!!!

I went through all my papers to find some of the Great Pink DSP's that I have both of the ones I chose actually are SU! DSP's. I stamped up the TGF image Thursday, and then colored her with Copics, then I cut her and the background out using Spellbinders Fourteen Die Cuts, and Cross Die Cuts also from Spellbinders Die Cuts. The Card Back is SU! Kraft Cardstock.

I also added some fun Washi Tape I got from The Greeting Farm Online Store a while back it is on each side and across the bottom of the card!!! I sponged the edges of the image panel with Pretty in Pink SU! Ink, and colored around the edge with a RV06 Copic Marker.

So this is my FIRST time to do several things, #1 Practicing the Hair Feathering Technique, also the use of Washi Tape, the use of Spellbinders Nesties Label's 14, and Spell Binders Cross set, and also the use of Websters Pages Bloomers Flowers in Dark Green. So I tried all kinds of new products I had sitting around waiting for some designing attention!!!! Yea!!!!

So below you can see the samples of my image I colored up using Copic Markers. The first one is before I put it on the card, matted it in Kraft Card Stock and sponged the edges in Pretty and Pink.

I used these Copics to color this image:

Skin: E000, E11, E21

Hair and Crown, and Outfit and Boots: RV00, RV02, RV06, RV09, E50, E21, E26, E28

Eyes: G21, G24

And Last the Side View to help you see the dimension on the card. Images and Die Cuts popped up with excess Foam and Rubber from the Greeting Farm.

Happy Tuesday Stampers, Family, and Friends!!!

Well I have lots of pictures to share today. 1st a Card I made for Piper to say Congratulations for receiving an Exemplary Score on her Recent State Assessment Reading Score, Then the pictures of Feeding Meadow her first Baby Food - Lots of Orange Carrots!!!, Pictures of my Beautiful Sleeping Beauty, and Last MY NEW Camera!!! Wooo Hooo!!!!

Piper came home last week screaming very excitedly Mommy, Mommy I got an Exemplary Score I did it Mommy I got Exemplary!!!

She had taken the first half of her State Assessment Tests the reading portion before Spring Break and they got their scores back last week. She scored 994 our of 1000 points so she was very excited!! So I made this card for her to let her know how proud of her we are!!

I used some adorable digi images from Character Cafe an Digital Stamp Store I used to Design for. Both the Sentiment and the Alien Characters are from The Character Cafe!!

The Alien Cuties are colored up using these Copic Markers:

Now for some pictures of my sweet, sweet, Sleeping Beauty!!! I just love her so much and watching her sleep is a huge treat for me.

These pictures were taken the other day when we were trying to heal up her horrible Diaper Rash she got after being on 2 different Antibiotics in a row for Ear Infections. She got a horrible Diaper Rash and Yeast Infection so this day I got out some towels and Plastic under them and let her Air out her poor very swollen, sore, hurt little bottom.

Now for the Pictures of the Week. We started giving Meadow her first Baby Food Carrots on Sunday and here are lots of fun pictures of her sampling her first Baby Food!!!

Now onto my biggest News for the last couple of weeks.

I GOT a NEW CAMERA!!!!!!! YEA!!!!!

I have been using Cannon Film then Digital SLR EOS Rebels for about 13 years now and I have wanted for a long time to move up from the Semi Professional Level of Cannon to the Professional Level in the D line.

I found a really good deal on a Brand New 60D and so the Camera will be about half paid for by selling my Cannon Digital Rebel XT, Part of it will be paid for by some Christmas and Birthday Money, and the last part of it will be paid for by a No Interest Deal I qualified for over the next few months then it will be all said and done. I have never done a No Interest thing before but this one just worked out perfect and I could not pass it up after Marvin said I could LOL!!! :-)

So Here is my New Professional Digital SLR Cannon 60D.

One of the reasons I wanted the 60D is it is one of the first Cannon SLR camera's that has Video on it and it is very High Quality High Definition Video. We have not had a Real Video camera in about 3 years so I have done any and all video on my Cannon Point and Shoot. Then when you go to look at the Video on the Computer it is about 2 inches by 2 inches and if you increase the size it is very blurry. So the video I have taken on the 60D is so so so so so much better quality and yes I can look at it full screen!!! Yea!!!

When I took video on my Point and Shoot I could do like 5 minutes and it would be like 4MG of Space. The first video I did on my 60D was for 6 Seconds of Willow and Meadow and it was 500MB of space if that give you any idea what great quality it was!!!

It did take me a few times to get the hang of how to get clean clear crisp video picture but I think I have it figured out now!!! Yea again!!!

Here are a few pictures. The last pictures shows the 18mm to 200mm Lens fully extended which looks much longer in real life. Willow always says WOWa MUNGA when she sees the telephoto lens fully extended!!! :-) Now I have to learn how to get Clean non Blurry Pictures. I never had a Blurry Picture with my Rebel, but I have tons of blurry pictures with my 60D so I am doing something wrong for sure gotta work out the bugs before we leave for Disney!!!

So I am selling my Digital Rebel along with an 18mm to 55mm Lens, a Brand New Battery Grip which is AWESOME but does not fit my new camera. It holds 2 Lithium Batteries or 6 AA rechargeable Batteries which holds a charge for about 6 weeks which I LOVE. It also will come with a Universal Battery Charger also Brand New. 2 Lithium Batteries one Brand New, 2 Memory Cards one 1 GB and one 2 GB, and the Camera Strap and Manuel if you know anyone who might be interested!!! It takes AWESOME pictures, I have done a few weddings and lots of Family Pictures on it, the only reason I am selling it is to upgrade to the next level of camera!

Hi Stampers, Friends, and Family!!!

Well if I ever, ever, ever????? Have Healthy Kiddo's again I will return to posting, and creating, and Stamping, again!!! January 5th was the first day this year we had a sick Kid. Poor Tucker got Stomach Flu while visiting Grandma S. Since then...... Almost every day since then...... One of the 4 has been sick. I think I am getting weary of NO Sleep, and going NO Where, and having one or more Poor kiddo's who is under the weather.

We have had Stomach Flu, The REAL Influenza, Ear Infections, Double Ear Infections, RSV, Colds, Sinus Infections, Various Virus's, INSANE Diaper Rashes that look like her little bottom sat down in a Real Fire and was burned all over...... ect......

Normally going no where and having sick kiddo's does not bother me but I think 3 months of it has taken it's toll. However I refuse to let it get the best of me so we make the most of every day that we can and we are still having LOTS of FUN everyday!!! Woooo Hooo!!!

Laundry never seems to be done in my house there is always more to go even if the washer goes all week long so I made this card to make me smile about Laundry!!!

I used SU! Card Stock in Lavender Lace, Tempting Turquoise,and Certainly Celery Patterned Paper. The washer and Dryer are Passion Pink SU! Card Stock and I used the Copic Markers Below to color the clothes and Laundry Hope and Grace image from The Greeting Farm. I also used colored wire to make the Hangers and Clothes Line. The Poles are made with Metallic Silver Card Stock also from SU!!!!

I used Crystal Effects from SU! to make the washer and dryer shine like real appliances do in real life!!

I love them all and if I have to give up 3 months of my life doing things to take care of them and Nurse them back to Health!!! Then Nurse them I will it is all SO SO SO SO worth it!!!

I thank GOD every day for their overall health we have just had tiny little Illnesses not anything BIG, Fatal, or Dangerous so that is a BLESSING in itself!!!! :-)

Hello and Happy Tuesday Everyone!!

Well K-State lost their game this weekend so they won't be going to the Final 8 like they got to last year in the Sweet 16 Basketball Tourney. Too bad we were hoping they would but KU won their game so I suppose I can route for one Kansas Team even if it is not our Favorite K-State!!!

A couple of weeks ago the girls and Tucker finished their season for the Up Ward Sports league here in town. Our Church sponsors the UpWard Sports league here in town and this is the 2nd year for it. UpWard Sports is a Community Wide Christian Sports program and the kids learn great skills in Cheer leading, and Basketball while also learning good sportsmanship the importance of team work and a new Bible Verse every week too.

I finally got all of the pictures edited from the Season and the Day they all Cheered in Church and the night of the UpWard Sports Awards Ceremony. So along with my K-State Card I am also uploading the UpWard pictures for you to see.

At the end of each game the coaches meet with the kids and give each child a sticker representing whatever they were best at, for that particular game. Things like Most Energetic, Best Leader, Most Christ like, et. et... They then get a patch for their Basketball shirt, or a sticker for their Mega Phone if they are a Cheerleader.

Pastor Mark and Pastor Chris the Family's with Children, and Sports Ministries Pastors put together a great program and they called ton's of kids up to play different games with their parents. Very creative games most of them involving something with Toilet Paper LOL!!! Willow's name got drawn and she picked her Daddy to go up with her. She and Marvin are in the middle here.

And last but not least my K-State Card. I did not have any Copics when I made this card so there is not near the coloring I do now but this is still one of my favorite cards!!! I just adore TGF Stamps and I used some K-State Scrap Book Papers to make the rest of the card. The Card Stock is all SU! and the ribbon is shimmery wired ribbon from Hobby Lobby.

The girls are up at the Farm for a few days as this is our Spring Break week here. They love going to the Farm over Spring Break!!! Tucker is really bummed he did not get to go to the farm with them and cousin Ben though!!

Some St. Patricks Day Fun!!!!

Hello Family, Friends, and Stampers,

So Thursday was St. Patricks Day. They have a lot of fun with St. Patricks Day at the girls school. The school has a Leprechaun who visits every year and turns the kids classrooms upside down and leaves lots of little surprises for the kids!!!

The year Piper was in Kindergarten they taught the kids how to make Leprechaun traps to try and catch the Leprechaun on the Eve of St. Patty's Day. The kids had an assignment to all go home and make their own traps and after Spring Break they were to come and tell the stories of how they caught their Leprechaun at home if they got him in the trap.

So several Years we have made fun traps to see if we can catch one on their most mischievous night of the year. A couple of years we actually caught his shadow and some of his gold but never have we really caught the Leprechaun they are just too smart for us!!! LOL!!!

So this year was his worst year yet. He took everything in our Kitchen, Living Room and a few things from other parts of the house that were all GREEN and he dumped them all up on the center of our Dining room table.

He left a Magical Green Sparkly Trail from where he came into the house to our Dinning Room Table too!!! :-) LOL!!! The kids had fun with his mischief and they say next year they WILL CATCH Him!!!

Now for some video's of Piper's very first Piano Recital. She has only been in lessons for 3 months so we did not expect to hear much from her but she played 3 songs and she had a lot of fun doing it!!!

The one with the little guy in Red Plaid I actually made 3 of with him in a Green Plaid and the pictures I took will not upload to FB or my Blog so imagine that card with him in a Green Plaid I liked them even more than this cutie!!!
