Some All Time Favorites!!!!
 Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to let you all know what is coming the next two days!!!

Today would normally have been my Farm Fresh Friday post but since all of the Farmers had some really cool new release sneak peaks they gave "The Critter Crew" Girls the day off to either not post or to post with whatever TGF images we wanted to!!!

I had an image all picked out to work with and started a project I had in my head, and then my little guy came down with a strange Fever he was fine one moment and 20 minutes later had a fever of 103.5 so that sort of put everything on hold the last two days as all he really wanted was to be held and comforted!!!  A Mommy can not say no to that!!!  :-)

So today I want to share with you 5 of my All Time favorite TGF projects I had a really hard time deciding them because I love working with TGF images and making fun projects!!!!  TGF has some amazing images and they are so fun to alter and have fun with!!!!!

So here they are my all time 5 favorite TGF projects I have had the chance to create!

Die Cuts R Us DT Challenge for this week, We have a Scheduled day for our C-Section. Posting less, but it is just because baby gets bigger and bigger as do I, but I am doing GREAT

SORRY NO TITLE Picture today having some camera issues so I had to use my Point and Shoot instead of my professional camera to take this picture so I don't have more than one picture today!!!

Happy Tuesday Everyone!!!

Well I am having a Great week my girls are back from their week long trip to visit Grandma is Colorado and I had my 32 week OB appointment yesterday everything looks great and baby is big, but that is normal for me.  We will have a NEW Baby in 7 weeks now.  My C-Section is Scheduled for Monday September 13th so Yea!!!!  I feel really good this week and things are marching on just great so I am really happy about that!!!  Only 3 more weeks from today and school starts here, I am really pretty sad about that I have had such an enjoyable summer with my kiddo's all home all day!!!

So how are all of you doing???  I really am sorry that my posts have gotten less it is just hard to do much stamping these days as I have gotten really huge and every time I sit down to stamp it cuts the circulation off to my legs from my HUGE belly and then I get very swollen feet and legs.  I do miss it though!!!!  But I have found it is almost impossible to stamp while propping up my feet as I have been instructed to do as much as possible LOL!!!  :-)

So this week our Challenge for you at The Crafty Little Place (By Die Cuts R Us) is to use this fun sketch you see below.  The DT girls also all used the fun DSP from My Minds Eye the SO SOFIE - Graceful Collection. I have a picture of the pretty paper below.  I added in some of the My Minds Eye Little Boy Blue collection too!!!

Be sure to check out the rest of the DT girls blogs and the DT Blog for some fun and very talented inspiration to help get you excited to participate in this weeks challenge and win one of the winner buttons too!!!

Most of you know Jess as The Whimsical Butterfly and if you know her you know two of her favorite colors are PINK and my personal most unfavored horrible allergy to color BROWN.

So Jess will know when she sees this just how much I love her because Just for her I worked with that horrible ooooogly color Brown just for her!!!  I also added lots of her favorite color Pink!!!!  Jess loves to write and keep track of feelings and events and actions and events from your family and her daily life so I thought it would be fun to make her a Journal for her Birthday!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESS - I Love Ya Girl!!!!

So today just for Jess you can hop along with us and then leave comments on entries as you wish, but to win the Prize you have to leave Jess a special Birthday Greeting on The Greeting Farm Blog by Sunday night!!!!

So you came to my Blog from the Fabulous Jen from The Critter Crew DT's Blog and after you are done with your visit here, you will head on out to the next stop on the Birthday Blog Hop to sweet and talented Kristy's Blog!!!

So this weeks challenge is "Don't Forget to Floss Challenge" So I combined my Birthday Project for Jess with the Floss Challenge which is to use embroidery Floss on your Card or Project.  I used twine embroidery Floss and sewed some of the letters on the "Happy Birthday Jess" sign on the Journal with the twine embroidery floss.

I used SU card stock in Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Pixie Pink, and Tempting Turquoise on the Project and the SU stamp set Delight in Life.  I used the same colors of ink as the Card Stock and Chocolate Chip ink to distress around the "Happy Birthday Jess" part of the journal.  All the layers are popped up using excess foam and rubber from my TGF Stamps.
I colored the Pinto Pony image from The Greeting Farm in these copics:
Fur: E31, E35, E39, RV00, RV02, RV06, B00, B02

Farm Fresh Friday Challenge with The Greeting Farm DT - HUGE $25 Prize this week!!! Challenge - Digi and new Technique Challenge. I created my own Patterned Paper using a Digi Image and Word.

Creating Fun Patterned Paper

with Digi Images

Happy Friday Everyone!!!

This week we have a really fun fun fun challenge for you for Farm Fresh Friday!!!  The Challenge is to use a TGF Digi image and to create something using a new Technique you have been wanting to try, or a Technique you have recently gotten into!!!

I tried out two new things.  1.) I created my own Patterned Paper using WORD Document, and a TGF Digi Image Toby Painter (to decorate my kids Paint Brush Holder)
2.) I used the technique Farmer DT member Randi Whall uses where she isolates certain parts of images and colors them and then leaves the rest of the image un colored.

For lots more fun Techniques the DT girls tried out check out all of their blogs below and check out lots of samples on The Greeting Farm Blog (link below)

DT for The Greeting Farm - "Critter Crew"

The Greeting Farm - Farmers DT girls:
Mercy Kerin

So How did I make my own Patterned Paper???

I opened a Word Document and I added in about 10 of the Digi image I wanted on the Paper then I changed image sizes and made them all over the paper some side ways, some upside down, some small some big, some catty cornered ect...

You can also do this in Photo Shop by opening a new page making the page the size of paper 8.5" x 11" translucent in color and add the Digi Image in several times and turn them all the different directions ect...

Then save the image both as a Photo Shop document so it can be changed later and a JPEG image so it can be printed.  Then just print out your new Patterned Paper and color how you want it.

Here is what the Full 8 1/2" x 11" piece of White Card Stock looked like after I printed it out.  You can see the section I colored and then cut out to fit my Paint Brush Holder.

And Here is my Finished Product.  A Decorated Paint Brush Holder using my very own Patterned Paper I created using a TGF Digi Image!!!
The New Technique I wanted to try was making my own Patterned Paper using Word Document / or Photo Shop if you have it, and a TGF Digi Stamp.

So I choose to decorate a Paint Brush Container with Toby Painter image.  I created my Digi Paper and then randomly colored different parts of Toby on the Paper and then I Colored one Full Toby and added him popped up on the Container.  I thought this was a fun way to Decorate my kids Paint Brush Holders.

So after I made and colored my own Patterned Paper I cut it to fit the Paint Brush Holder and then attached it to the container using Glue Dots and Sticky Strip (Red Line Tape).
Lastly I attached the popped up Toby Painter fully colored Digi image which I cut out using my Large Scallop, Scallop Circled Nesties and matted it with some Basic Grey DSP.

I am going to let my kids add a label that says Paint Brushes to the top of the Container tomorrow.

Well I hope that you play along in the Challenge this week the Prize is pretty Big so you do not want to miss out!!!!

PLAY ALONG by uploading your card or creation to the TGF Gallery>Contests/Challenges>FFF>Digi do something new? Use a DIGI + a new technique!

You ahve until Wed. July 21st to enter to WIN the new DIGIS by Marina Neira PLUS the Jessica Hymas digis-that's a total of EIGHT digisstamps and about a $25 value!!!

Have a Very Very Stampendous Weekend!!!!!

Scrap Booking Challenge with the Die Cuts R Us DT Girls - Distress Everything!!!! Some of my Very Very Very Favorite Pictures Ever!!!!! Pumpkin Patch Time.

A Distressed Pumpkin of a

Patch Layout!!!!!

Happy Thursday Everyone!!!!

Well man has it been a crazy week at my house.  Not much time for stamping Piper first got Strep Throat and then we started all the stuff for the County Fair.  This is Piper's first year in 4H so it is our first year to participate in the County Fair but as busy as it has been and it only began today Piper is very excited.  She spent from 9am to basically 8pm at the Fair today having her Rabbit Judged, turning in all of her projects, and then helping build a booth for her 4H club tonight.

Piper showed her Bunny for the first time today and she was in 3 Categories and she got Blue Ribbons in all 3 Categories so she was super excited about that!!!!

Now onto this weeks Scrap Book Challenge with the Die Cuts R Us DT.

This week our challenge was to Distress everything.  When you get done here be sure to check out my Team Mates many of them have layouts for you to see too!!!

The Team:
Heather (Me)

This weeks Challenge is to Distress Everything!!!!  At first I planned to distress with inks and things like that and then as I got working I just had to go with the roughed up distress look so I distressed the papers and the pictures instead of with inks I used my Trusty Kitchen Knife and some Sanding Blocks to distress them.
Here is my Project for the Distress Everything Scrap Book Challenge.

I distressed all 32 edges of the card stock and pictures with my trusty Kitchen Knife, because I wanted a rugged look.  I also distressed the 12 x 12 paper with sand paper blocks but that does not show up to well in the pictures!!!!
Recipe:
Stacie Clair Boyd 12 x 12 DSP
Basic Grey - Green At Heart DSP

The pictures are from the Halloween when Piper was 2 1/2 and Willow was 4 months old.  The Big picture in the layout is one of my favorite pictures of Piper ever!!!  I am glad I finally got these pictures scrap booked!!!  I am looking forward to adding some die cut pumpkins and bling to this layout later when I find just the right ones to buy!!!

Here is Piper with the Purple Balloon she got at that Pumpkin Patch.
Piper, Willow, and I on our front porch.
This picture is pretty cropped down but the full version of it shows her running through this huge pumpkin patch this is another of my all time favorite pictures of her!!!!
Here is the Title.

I Hand wrote out Our Little Pumpkin on Green Card Stock and then I tore the edges and distressed it by crumpling and folding and scrunching the paper over and over.

Well I hope you enjoyed my Layout these particular pictures have been waiting years to be Scrap Booked so I was super glad when the Paper's Claudia sent us matched them because I love Pumpkin Patch Season and I have a ton of Pumpkin Patch Pictures to Scrap Book!!!!

Off to bed been having lots of contractions lately so trying to maintain light bed rest with feet up.  Which is not very easy at all with 3 kids, 2 Dogs, 3 Cats, 2 4H Bunny's, and 3 Fish, plus one Husband too!!!  :-)

Have a Very Very Very Stampendous Thursday and I hope you join in the challenge and link up to the DT blog link above you have 2 weeks to do your layout!!!

See you back tomorrow for Farm Fresh Friday with us Greeting Farm DT girls!!!!
