Scrap Book Challenge Week for Farm Fresh Friday - My Bathing Beauty, and Cute Ducky to Boot!!!

"FUN Bathing Colored Sand Ducky
Scrap of my Life"

Happy Happy Friday Everyone!!!

How are you all doing this week???  It has been a CRAZY, but Fun week at our house!!!  This week we have juggled around vehicles as Marvin's Work Car suddenly and totally unexpectedly went kaput a few weeks ago and he has ordered a new one, but will not have it for about 6 more weeks, and then on Friday last week his Pick Up went kaput too!!!  Wow that has been fun trying to figure out how to get everyone everywhere when they were supposed to be without any problems.  Marvin borrowed a suburban for a couple of days used my Van for a couple of days and had  co-worker pick him up for work one day!!

Our nights are busy too!!  Church Wednesday Night, The start of Upward Basketball and Cheer leading Thursday night and Christmas Play/ Festival of Lights at Church which the kids are in on Friday night, Saturday Night, and Sunday Night and Twice on Sunday Morning during the service!!!  Busy Busy Busy weekend, plus we want to finally get our Tree, get some decorating done, Visit Santa Clause down town, Have Meadow's 3 month pictures taken, and a few other things over the weekend.

So now onto my Project for the Week.  This week we were supposed to create a Scrap Book Page using one of our favorite Quotes or Quote or Saying on our page and also show casing The Greeting Farm images as well.

It was a fun challenge and I hope you check out both The Greeting Farm blog and my team mates blogs for samples of all of our work and more views and close ups of our creations!!!

Here is the pictures of My Bathing Beauty Scrap Book Page with one of my Favorite Quotes (From Earnie on Sesame Street)  Rubber Ducky Your the ONE - You make Bathtime so much FUN!!!
Also notice all of my colored sand and liquid glue work below.
These pictures are of Piper when she was a baby mostly because my Printer is out of ink and we switched to Digital Pictures when Willow was a Baby so I only have lots of pictures printed out of one of my little kiddo's and that is Piper.  These pictures were of her FIRST baby tub, baby bath after her umbilical cord fell off she is just over 2 weeks old in these pictures.
I made the Title of the Scrap Book page using these water drop stickers with the letters below the stickers on the paper.  You can see all of the Title on the Page at the top.
I used Colored Sand and Helmar Liquid Glue - LOVE this glue for things like this, well up and about everything else too!!!   I wrote the title in these tiny circles with liquid glue- making the letters and words, and then I poured sand over the liquid glue to get this effect!!!  Loved it!!!
More words written with small circles to create the words using Helmar liquid glue and colored sand.
Here is the Critter Crew Ducky Image I colored and added to my page I know it should be white but I just had to color it blue to make it look more like a rubber ducky.
Image colored in these Copics:
Feathers and Beak: Y02, Y08, Y15, Y38, Y28
Bow and Hat and Rain: B11, B21, B05, B00
Leaf: G20, G21, G24

Here is the Left Side of the 12 x 12 2 page Baby Bath Layout.
Here is the right side (below) of the Scrap Book page layout.

Well I hope you really enjoyed my project and I really hope you play along with us this week!!!  You just need to make a creation using The Greeting Farm images and a quote or saying of your choice or favor!!!

Finish you project and upload it to the TGF gallery under this weeks category title and then add a picture or link of your project into the gallery by next Wednesday night.

Now onto my Project for this FUN Blog Hop!!!

I used one of our images being released tomorrow at The Greeting Farm.  This Marina Critter Crew Image for TGF is so adorable and when I saw it I knew I had to create a fun, fun, fun Scene to go along with this cutie patootie Critter's in the Santa Sleigh Image!!

I got out some of my SU Card Stocks in Bashful Blue, Garden Green, Whisper White, and Chocolate Chip Colors to create the Snow, Trees, and Sky on my Card.  The Snow is embossed using the D'Vine Swirls Cuttle Bug Embossing Folders and Baja Breeze ink.  I added some pretty glittered snow swirls in the sky using Dazzling Diamonds Glitter and liquid glue.  The trees are made using the Lg. Scallop Circle SU punch which I punched 2 of for eachTree and then cut the scallops at the 5 scallops on the bottom layer, 4 scallops on the next layer, 3 scallops, and then 2 scallops for the top of the tree layer.  I added the snow to the tree layers by distressing them with Whisper White Craft Ink.

I printed my Critter Crew image on NeeNah solar white heavy Card stock and colored it using my Copic Markers.
Image colored with these Copics:
Sled and Bells: Y02, Y08, Y15, Y38, W1, W3, W5, 100
Clothes and Blanket: R20, R32, R35, R29, G20, G21, G24, V000, V12, V04, V17,
Monkey Fur: E30, E31, E33, E35, E37, RV02, RV21, B21, W01, E71
Here is one last view of my Card so you can see all of the dimension I added by popping up different layers using excess foam and rubber from my TGF stamps.

I hope you are having a wonderful week and I really hope you join us in this weeks fun Sparkly Birthday Challenge over at The Greeting Farm Blog and The Greeting Farm Gallery!!!

This week has been an Interesting week here at The Schlatter House Hold.  Marvin's Dad had Gall Bladder Surgery this week and by the time they figured out what was wrong with him his Gall Bladder was really really infected and he was in a ton of pain so his recovery is going to go slow.  Marvin went up Tuesday and Wednesday to the Farm (3 hours away in Smith Center Kansas) so he could help his brother wean their 200 or so calf's and then he came back home for 2 days then will be leaving to go back up to the Farm and help his brother finish weaning the last of the calf's this weekend.

Piper and Willow have 4 Birthday Parties this weekend and I need to get Christmas Shopping done so when we go to Colorado next week for Thanksgiving we can do Christmas with my Family and Close Friends while we are there.  Every year we rotate Christmas at the Farm and Thanksgiving in Colorado and then the next year Christmas in Colorado, and Thanksgiving at the Farm ect... ect...  So our own Families get to spend every other year Christmas and every other year Thanksgiving.  So anyway when we are somewhere for Thanksgiving we also do Christmas that same weekend since we won't be back for the 2nd Holiday that year.

Well I have a little baby girl crying wanting her 3am feeding so I am off to Nurse a Sweet Baby Girl!!!!  Can't get enough of this sweet thing!!!

And here is my Layout I made using some pictures from our oldest Daughter 8 year old Piper's very First Christmas in 2002.  WOW how do they grow up so fast???  I am so behind on scrap booking it is not even funny!!!  :-)
The Greeting Farm image I used is one of the November Critter Crew New Releases how fun is this image???

The image is colored using these Copics:
Fur:W00, W1, W3, W5, RV10
Horse: E30, E31, E33, E35, E39, Y21, Y26, Y28, Y02, Y08, Y17, Y38
Outfit: R20, R29, R32, R35, G20, G21, G24
Below is a close up of the pictures.  Piper wore her Santa Suit that year as we opened up presents at Marvin's Parents house.  The picture on the left is just Piper and the Picture on the right is me helping her open a present from Nana Patsy.

Piper was not happy that year and we could not figure out why our normally happy 9 month old was so upset all the time.  We finally took her to the Dr. up at his parents and we found out she had a double ear infection YUCK!!!  So we got her on Antibiotics and she acted so much happier very quickly!!!
And this is a little different view of the Layout standing up.
I can not figure out why all of my pictures of the Layout are a bit blurry my camera never takes blurry photo's and I would go back and take a few more but it is very late and I am tired and I don't want to have to edit them all in Photo shop again!!!  :-)

So I hope these pictures will do for you!!!  :-)

Well I am off to bed and I hope you love all of the Layouts the girls worked so hard on this week!!!  Also I really hope you play along.  Just head out to The Greeting Farm Blog for lots of inspiration and the full details for this weeks Farm Fresh Friday Scrap Book Layout Challenge!!!
