It has been a pretty good week here. I have had Zero blogging and commenting time, but I have had a lot of fun with my 1 year old!!!!

My Mother In Law wanted the girls (Piper 7, and Willow4) to come up and stay for the week and go to Vacation Bible School at their church. So they have been there all week and are having a ton of fun!!!! Today we are driving the 3 hours up to the farm to see the girls program and then coming back because I have my monthly Stampers Club on Sunday Afternoon. We have to drop my Nephew (Ben 4), who also stayed for Vacation Bible School, off at his house on our way home as he lives about half way in between our house and Grandma's house.

I am looking forward to sharing the projects with you on Monday that I designed for the club girls to do on Sunday Afternoon!!!! There is a Father's Day card, a Wedding card, and a 3-D item this time around.

This weeks Etsy shop Artisan made Cottage Home Decor Birdhouses Metal Art had a very wide range of products for you to choose from. The main item you see a lot of are really cool Bird Houses all kinds 1 story 2 story's simple and very elaborate!!!

They also have all kinds of decorative items for the house, and even furniture!!!!

Now here is the piece I picked out for my Inspiration this week!!!

I liked the Silver of the Metal Bike, and the Rusty Red color of the wooden block it is setting on. So I went to my trusty SU sets to pick out a set perfect for the Challenge!!!! This set has several cute images and sayings about Friendship and the road of life.

So first I picked out some Rusty Red SU! card stock and my favorite the shimmery metallic Silver SU! card stock which never photo's as gorgeous as it is in person!!!

I made the layers for the card with the Rust and Silver Card Stock then on the Top layer I embossed the cute Girl on the Bike image with Silver embossing powder. Then I took my Craft White pad and distressed the edges of that layer with ink and then added embossing powder all around the edges and that is how I got the jagged silver embossed edge of the bike layer.

All of the layers are popped up from each other using Stampin Dimensionals the top layer is popped a little higher with excess foam and rubber from my stamps.

Last I took some large distressed metal Brads and added them to the four corners with my Crop- a -Dile and I added the red and white patterned ribbon to the two corners of the Bike layer and then behind the other silver and rust layers on the card back. Pretty Simple, but I liked how it turned out!!!!

Well I better go and get the family ready to head on off to Smith Center Kansas to see my girls and pick them back up!!!! Tucker has actually really, really, really enjoyed his week alone with Mommy and Daddy to pay all of our attention to just him!!!!

He has played and played with Mommy which is part of why I have had no blogging time this week!!!! We have had a good fun week if not the most productive week. Marvin and I took Tucker to the Park one night and then we took him to buy sand for his sand box tonight and last night we went out to Dinner the 3 of us! Wow you forget how quiet and easy just one 23 month old can be!!!! My house is sure to get back to the normal loud noise level on Monday for sure!!!!!

So here is my card for the week!!! When I first started Stamping/Scrap booking almost 10 years ago now. I fell in love with Eyelets I found this great web site that had hundreds and hundreds of decorative eyelets. I do not even remember the name of it I wish I did so I could see if they are still in business or not. So anyway I bought all of these decorative eyelets and I bought these adorable Butterfly eyelets in 5 different shades.

So I had to incorporate these eyelets into our Flutter By challenge of course!!!! Look below are these eyelets not the cutest most perfect thing for Flutter By Wednesday????

I used 2 of the shades I own my Metallic Purple Flutter By eyelets and my Flat Purple Flutter By eyelets. The great thing about eyelets now is I have my wonderful Crop-a-Dile to use to set them instead of the Hammer, Eyelet setter tool, and Acetate block I used to have to use!!! If you do not have a Crop-a-Dile as of yet then I really encourage you to get one I use mine on almost every project I ever make it is so so so versatile and you can use it for so many things!!!

I took the picture above and below to try to show you all the embedded glitter that is in the pretty patterned card stock I used for this card. This paper really sparkles!!!

I got out my Mega Nestibilities Die set to make the Die cuts and as this set does not have all the in between sizes I wanted I made the first layer then traced around the outside of that nestie size and cut the next layer out with my scissors, then I cut the next layer out with the next size of Nestie and then created the last die cut layer out by once again tracing that nestie size and cutting it out as well. This technique works great for getting a size of nestie that you do not have!!!!

The Orange Layer is popped up from the purple card back with SU! Stampin dimensionals and the green layer is popped up the same way as well. The Flutter By Anya is popped up higher using excess foam and rubber from my stamps!!!

Well this week is some what bitter sweet for me. I am trying to simplify my life for about 6 weeks or so due to the fact that Marvin will be basically gone for a month or more with Harvest so I asked Danni if I could take a 5 to 6 week break from the Flutter By team while he is in harvest. I still plan to try to get the card done each week, but I am not sure if I will have time so if I take an official break for a few weeks then I do not have to worry if I can not get the card completed on time!!!

However Marvin told me tonight that the Wheat is still 3 to 4 weeks out from being ready so I think I am going to ask Danni if I can start my break a little later since Harvest is going to be later this year it looks like!!!!

This afternoon and evening Tasha , (My next door neighbor/SU down line/Good Friend, and Emily (Fellow Nurse,/SU down line, / Good Friend), and I are going to have a Make-Up night for the big SU! workshops we had back in March. This is a time for all of those that came to the 50 cards in one Evening and Complete an entire scrapbook in one night workshops, and did not quite finish to come and finish off their workshop cards and Scrap pages!!!

Well did you have a good Memorial Day weekend??? What did your family do??

.......

I feel much more rejuvenated and relaxed then I have in a while and here is my story why with some background info to let you know more about us!!!

.......

Our weekend started out slow as on Saturday the whole family was at the Clinic and DH and Willow and Tucker all got the required antibiotics for Sinus infections and Tonsillitis.

.......

The plan for my weekend was supposed to be a 2 day "break" for me to get much needed cleaning and organizing and even some crafting done. DH was going up to his parents farm to visit all the cousins and his two brothers (Between the 3 brothers there are 8 cousins 9th on the way 7 of who are 4 years and younger). The girls were then going to stay for the rest of the week to go to Vacation Bible School at Grandma Schlatters Church there, and Tucker would be coming back home with Hubby. Also the trip was to take Skittles one of the two puppies we have had for the last 6 weeks or so up to his Brother and my two nephews and my Sister in law so she could go to her new home with them.

Harvest will soon be upon us here in Kansas which means Hubby is basically gone for a month or more. Hubby works as a Grain Marketing Specialist for ADM Grain here in Hutchinson. For those of you that do not know Hutchinson Kansas has more Grain Elevators and Storage then any other town in America. We host the largest Elevator under 1 Head House in America it is 1 /2 mile long. The only other Elevator larger then it is in Russia.

For many years DH was the manager of 6 grain elevators here, but a few years ago he moved into a different job where he is basically a grain merchandiser and buys and sells grain and works with over 500 farmers in surrounding towns and such around Hutchinson.

.......

During Harvest they work insane hours he basically is home from 12am to 6:30 am to sleep and then back to work. We try to go visit him, but they are so busy that we might wait 45 minutes just to talk to him for a few minutes and then he is off the the next phone call or order of business.

.......

So anyhoo I needed to get some pre-harvest stuff done to help me be more prepared for my Single Mom status during the month of June and part of July.

.......

Hubby was gone 4 out of 5 nights last week and 3 out of 5 nights the week before that, and right before those weeks he had just gotten back from his 10 day trip to Arizona for a Work and Witness trip with our church to the Sun Valley Indian School in Winslow Arizona. So I am hopelessly behind and needed the time to catch up.

Anyway my plan was to use 1 whole day of the break to clean and organize and on the 2nd day use half the day for that again and half the day to do something fun and relaxing for me like stamping. However as they were sick and left a day late I only had a little over 28 hours so I used 1 /2 of it for stamping and 1 /2 of it for cleaning and organizing.

I was able to get my Twinkling Tuesday, Flutter By Wednesday, Etsy Saturday DT cards done and a card to post on Friday as well!!! Woo Hooo I have never been that far ahead ever!!! I wish I would have time to keep going, but I have my monthly SU! Stampers Club on Sunday so I now need to switch gears and design some fun projects for them to do on Sunday at Club.

I am hoping as the girls will be gone all week I can continue to organize and such, but since Tucker is my most active and mischievous of my 3 young kiddo's right now that may not be quite as easy as I hope it to be.

.......

Here is Madelynn's sketch the last couple of weeks we have had temporary twinkies to fill in for Madelynn but this week she was back with a fun one to design a project for!!!

Now the picture above and Below are the photo version and then below the scanned version. It seems whenever I am working on a project with teals or turquoises then I just do not get a good representation with those colors into pictures. I took it in natural light and everything but neither the scanned version or the photo version show quite the vibrancy of these colors.

I ordered my Ott Light from JoAnn's over 2 weeks ago but I have not seen it yet I am hoping the order went through O.K.!!!! I wonder if that will help when trying to photo these colors???

I first colored up my image and then went looking for papers. I ended up picking out for the 4 layers SU! card stocks in the following shades Layer 1 Soft Sky, Layer 2 Taken with Teal, Layer 3 Baja Breeze, and Layer 4 Blue Bayou.

My gorjuss girl who I do not own any of by the way but my good friend and SU downline Emily pre-ordered both sets and stamps them up for me once in a while stamped this one for me.

I colored the Gorjuss girl up with my copics.

Clothes: BG00, BG02, BG72, BG75, BG78, and BG49

The ribbon behind the Teal layer is yummy yummy thick double layered satin with a mint and teal pattern on one side and silver on the other side so so so pretty in person!!!!

My good friend Cassie and fellow twinking member sent me the Clear dew drops a while back and I actually took them and used glue dots to attach the other colors of the card stocks under the dew drop and then I cut it out and used another glue dot to adhear to this card so that is why all the dew drops look like the colors of the card but they are all actually clear dew drops.

Well I better get on upstairs and work on more laundry and keep plugging away!!!! No real plans for tomorrow yet, but since I already have my Flutter by Wednesday cards done all I need to do is post it and then maybe I will have some time to do some much needed catching up on my favorite blogs!!!!!

When do you find/make time to Stamp / Craft??? - My time has gone Poof Bye Bye!!!

I just wanted to conduct a survey on when all my friendly stampers make time to stamp??

With Summer Vacation now in full effect here in Kansas and my 1 year old (22 months) who is into everything and everywhere these days I seem to have less and less time to stamp/visit blogs/comment/ play along with stamping stuff. I was just wondering when you find the time or make the time to craft as I seem to have much less time for this these days.

.......

When I first started my blog back in Mid September 2008 I was specifically carving out time for stamping/making cards/gifts/scrapbook pages ect... I always made time in the mornings or the afternoon depending on the day. I was playing in several Split Coast Stampers challenges a week. I posted at least every day if not twice a day or at least never missed more than a day or two a week. Now I am lucky to get a project done and posted 3 times a week!!!

Fast forward to May 2009. It now seems I can rarely find the time to carve out to stamp/ craft. Maybe this will get better now that it is summer and I am not running in a million directions each day with Pre-School and all that other stuff. Also I think back in September my 1 year old was taking more than 1 nap a day and that helped.

.......

These days I find my stamping/ craft time relegated to after 10pm at night after everyone is in bed and Mommy and Daddy have had some time to talk and reconnect for the day. The problem is by then I am lately (did not used to be) just plain to tired to stamp/ craft!!!

.......

If I do stamp/ craft then I rarely have it in me to stamp/ craft then take pictures edit them and post them before bed so I can not get my posts up as early as I used to have them posted.

......

It seems like when I was making the time or finding the time I felt better all around about life in general and had much more energy. I have now not uploaded a card to SCS in 5 months not played in any challenges or anything like that. I know lots of crafters are slowing down these days too, but I just wondered what your routines are??? I think if I could find a way to get back into the swing of things I would be better all around with life in general.

I know that part of why I lost the time to do any SCS stuff was when I started meeting and taking time to comment on other amazingly talented stampers blogs and such but lately my time to do that has gone mostly bye bye too!!! LOL!!!! Also getting on some Design Teams and such also took away from the SCS time I was using.

So Help a girl out and give me some tips and tricks for how you fit stamping/ crafting into your lifes????

Etsy Inspired Day - Strep Throat and Sinus Infections LOL!!!

Well today is Etsy Inspired and I loved the shop this week you have to go check it out even if you don't play along!!! They have some great soaps and such that have all kinds of things in them!!!

I do not have a card for you just yet, because the last two days have been spent with the kiddo's. Willow and Tucker and Hubby all went to the Clinic this morning. I took all 3 kids with me to their Pediatrician, and Marvin went to the Same Day Care section.

.......

Willow and Tucker have Tonsillitis Willow was up most of the night throwing up and had a fever over 103 most of the night I was rotating Tylenol and Ibuprofen off and on to try to keep the fever down. Poor little girl she has had a rough time of it!!! (Mommy is pretty tired to from being up most of the night too!!!!)

Well today is Flutter By Wednesday. I made this card yesterday and I really liked it when I got done with it!!!

How are all of you doing??? Tucker my 1 year old is not feeling well today and only wants to be in Mommy's lap for some reason, which is nice once in a while because he is always on the go and never has time to cuddle, but then Mommy does not get much done either!! LOL!!!

Our Challenge this week was to use two Designer Patterned Papers, and a Flutter By (Fairy or Butterfly on your card) Don't forget Flutter By Wednesdays always either has a Butterfly or a Fairy for Flutterings.

So Here is my card for this week. I colored up Fairy Lily from Pink Cat Studio with my copics and then I shimmerized her wings with Lilac Shimmerz. I then added her to the middle of some patterned paper from DCWV School papers. I thought the glittered flowers were perfect from this card. The Second DSP is also from the same set of papers.

Here is a close up of the glittered flowers and shimmerized wings. I added some Prima flowers in the top corners too. Well I better get back to my little one he is really wanting on my lap again!!!! LOL ....... Have a Stampendous Day!!! Hope to see you play along!!!! Heather

Well I have not had time to edit Willow's Cute Pre-School Graduation pictures yet so I will have to add those another day along with the fun stories, but Today is Twinkling Tuesday Time Yea!!!!

That means a great Sketch from a talented Young'in. Madelynn was busy this week so we had the pleasure of doing a great sketch from her little brother 7 year old Jack.

Jack drew us this great sketch below and when I saw it I knew it would go great as the Add on Thank You card for my Teacher Appreciation Gifts I made. I added a few pictures of them below in case you did not get to see them and wonder what I am talking about!!

So Here is Jacky's great Sketch below.

Here is what I came up with for it.

I did my Teacher Appreciation gifts with Teacher Anya, but I wanted the Thank You cards to be more about a little girl as they are really coming from my two little blond girls.

I love that satin ribbon I used with the School Bus on it. The School Bus ribbon also has a red School House and a Stop sign but there was no room to use that part too.

I colored my Gorjuss girl one of my friends has been kind enough to stamp me up a ton of, and I colored her with my copics.

Above is the front of the tote and Apple shaped post it notes, below is the back of the tote Willow wrote in Willow above where it says and the Schlatters. Here is the inside of the tote on the right is the pocket with the cards to share, and to the left is the note book and decorated pen.

I saw on Ashley's Blog that De made some really cute new DT blinkies and such, but see they are mostly BROWN and you know I have that horrible horrible allergy to BROWN!!!! Oh my gosh see I am already having breathing troubles and my throat is swelling just talking about BROWN!!! (Shhhh) so I think I will just keep my old nice ORANGE Button!!!! I like it just fine!!! LOL!!!!!!

I think the pieces above and below remind me totally of that one stamp line The Greeting Farm carries called House of Mental??? I do not have any of those images but this would be perfect for that stamp image if you know what I am talking about???

The store has over 2,600 sold items and I looked through a lot of those plus there is a wide variety you have to go check it out because I did not come close to copy and pasting pictures of all the different kids of items, there are buttons, and plushies, and all sorts of things!!!

My Inspiration Pieces:

I knew I needed to make teacher appreciation gifts and that would take all of my crafting time the last couple of days so this Apple image seemed perfect inspiration to use Apples and Teachers on my gifts. The owls had some colors I liked for the gifts and the bag made me want to do a Purse or a Tote for my Inspiration/Teacher Appreciation gift.

So below are all the pictures to my gifts. They are Totes that Velcro shut, and I colored the images with the same hair color the actual teacher receiving it has. I colored 3 girls for each gift set and as I was coloring last night I played around with the way I colored their hair several different ways.

Below are two of the gifts done up and closed. The red paper around the oval in the scallop oval is some Glittery Bright Red Card Stock Willow picked out that she wanted me to use!!! LOL!!!

I made my totes 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 " The bottom is 6 1/2" x 2 " then scored at 1/2" on both sides the long way.

Here is a picture of the front. I found these cute apple shaped post it notes at Target last night. Half the pad is red and half is green so I just tore out sections of each and added both colors to each teachers gift. They are in the front pocket and I added one piece of the velcro behind them so you can keep them in there.

Below you can see the Front of the tote on the left and the back of the tote on the right.

I made up the chalk board and wrote out the School Name, the Year, The Teachers name and then a quick thank you from all of us on top. Willow went in and wrote her name above "and the Schlatters" all the sentiments are written in the Metallic Silver Liquid shaker pens and then outlined with my Real Red SU Marker. I thought silver would give it a little bling and make it stand out more then if I tried to write in all with a white gel pen.

Here is the full back of the tote. I saw this idea for a Chalk Board and using cut up, Q-Tips for the chalk from MacKenzie Bruckler's Blog she is down in my blog roll and I searched her blog for The Greeting Farm to see the idea again.

Here is the inside of the tote on the left. In this pocket I put 4 blank home made cards and envelopes so they could use them for whatever. I figured since they are school themed they could use them as Thank Yous to the parents who gave them gifts, or they could use them for their own children's teachers too!!!

On the front and inside are 6 3/4" x 3 1/4" scored on the bottom and both sides at 1/2", and 1/4" on all 3 sides, one side gets put down with sticky strip and the other scored section creates the pocket if that makes sense???

The tote in the lower part of the picture and the four cards above. All Card Stock is SU! in Craft, Whisper White, Real Red, and Basic Black. The Patterned papers are from the Die Cuts With a View Premium School days set with foil and glitter mixed in the papers I love this pack!!!

So to the left you can see the card holders, and to your right you can see a Notebook faux leather front (got at Hobby Lobby for $2.00 each called the travelers sketch book. I also wrapped the Pen with DSP and used glue dots to hold it. It has Velcro behind it and the Note book to hold them in. Everything else has sticky strip or glue dots holding it except for the Velcro closures you can see above.

Several things are popped up with excess rubber and foam from my stamps.

Below I made two of each of these cards for each teachers inside pocked and they are blank inside. I used my Martha Stewart embossing edge punch for the edges. Ribbon is from Hobby Lobby in the sewing section of the store.

Well, I have some funny stories to tell you from the week, and I have pictures and news to share about Willow's program and a few other things so I am going to try to finish editing Willow's program and "Graduation" pictures so you can see them and hear all about our funny week on Sunday!!!

Below is my card this week our challenge was to use a Quote or Sentiment along with our Butterfly or Fairy for Flutter By Wednesday.

At first I was planning to stamp a quote and then I came across this paper with all the quotes on it about friends and I thought it could not be more perfect for this card, so the DSP has my Quotes in it.

I colored up the Fairy's with Copics and painted shimmerz on their wings in Angel Dust. I had a picture for you of the shimmerz view, but as my programs are not cooperating with me right now I can only show you the scanned versions, but once again that is just O.K. right now!!!

I hope you enjoy it I really loved it once it was all done, oh and the flowers are Prima's with Spare Parts brads, SU CS in Garden, Gable, and Galore Greens, and Whisper White.

Today's Twinkling Tuesday Challenge came from Temporary Twinkie Kimmie's son Nicky. Nicky choose to challenge us with Colors instead of a Sketch challenge. Nicky's colors for us were Orange, and Blue, and Purple.

I thought of my The Greeting Farm Circus Set for those colors. I colored up the Adorable Ring Leader Anya and her Elephant in training.

I took wide Blue, Orange, and Purple shimmery sheer organza ribbon and made the curtains and pulled them aside and tied them with the same ribbon. They are all attached with glue dots.

Madelynn's Twinkling Tuesday Challenge Blog

Well I guess I better wrangle up the kids and get some supper started. Marvin will not be home until about 11pm, his parents are on a vacation in Holland (The Netherlands) as his mom is full blooded Dutch and has always wanted to go to the Netherlands, and his Dad wanted Marvin to come up and bid on some really good land that is for sale that is adjoining to land he already owns so he had to go up there which is about a 3 hour drive from here.

Tomorrow I have to start working on Teacher appreciation gifts Willow only has 2 more days of Pre-School Wednesday and Friday and Piper gets out of 1st grade next Friday so 8 more days of school for her!!! Wow this year has flown by!!!!

Twinkling Tuesday Time Almost!!!

Some Very Exciting News - Re-Visited, Plus Info and Links!!!

How are you all doing today??? Well a couple of weeks ago I got some wonderful news, but the day I found out I was in so much pain from all that Dental rigmarole (is that a real word???) that I did not have the chance to get as excited as I wanted to be!!!

Well now I am almost all better and I think it is all finally setting in!!!

Most of you already may know it, but I was chosen as one of the Final DT girls for the First Ever Inky Impressions Rubber Stamps Design Team!!!! Wooooo Hooooo!!!

Almost 120 people applied for this team, and some how Nicole narrowed it down to us final 18 girls for her Design Team. These girls are so incredibly talented I feel very lucky and blessed to get to be part of this group!!!!

Well, Lets see if I remember how to post since I have not been feeling well for over a week and have not posted since Etsy Inspired a week ago. I am slowly getting back to normal, but it is taking some time. I feel so much better then I did though!!!

So this weeks Etsy Shop is BeeLoo Kids Shop. She has so many cute prints that I had a really hard time deciding what to do I had so many different ideas with so many different stamps I could have used. You have to play along with us this week because she has prints for little kids, big kids, whimsical fun prints, animal prints, sports prints and many more!!!

I can not wait to see what my fellow team mates came up with for this week. We have lots of Etsy news this week. De who was our April Guest Designer is now an official member of our team she won the permanent spot up for grabs. Plus we have several Guest DT's coming up the next several months too!!!

Since this shop had so many different categories of prints to see I copied a bunch of the different categories for you too see, but my actual inspiration pieces are down further with my pictures of my projects I made.

Like I said before I could have used a ton of different stamps to make a piece for this week, but in the end I decided to use these 4 pictures of Trucks / Vehicles as my inspiration pieces and I got out one of my Favorite SU! sets By Land to make the pieces.

Above are 4 Vehicles and below are the 3 I choose to do. I changed a few of the colors up, but mostly tried to stay pretty close to what the inspiration looked like.

Above is the Tractor. I had to change this color scheme up because Hubby grew up on a farm and in our house we only have Red Tractors because that is what they used/use on Hubby's parents farm!!!!

I used orange on the edges here instead of green, but that Dump Truck is so cute!!!!

Above is the Blue car and below is the blue car this one was the one I made no changes on!!!! Well, I have to go check out my Team Mates creations now, and I need to do a bunch of House work and get ready to go to a Birthday Party this afternoon for the son of some really good friends. Marvin had to go to Manhattan KS. this am for meetings at his Alma Matter K-State (Go Purple and Silver Wild Cats) he will be home later this afternoon to come to the party late.

He took Piper and Tucker and Skittles the girl puppy we are training right now with him and he dropped her off at his brothers to baby sit and left Tucker there to play with his cousin Erik, and then he took Erik's brother Ben with him and Piper up to K-State. Skittles (the puppy) brother Porkers, is upstairs pretty upset he is all alone!!! We have had them for 1 month now and they have never been apart so this will be a hard day for them I am sure!!!

I just wanted to take a quick minute and let you all know I am still alive, and doing much better then I was last week when I posted about all the Dental Infection and Pain issues. Thank you ever so much for all your kind and caring e-mails and blog comments they really made me feel so much better and feel very loved!!!! LOL!!!!

I had to have a 2nd Root Canal on the side with the infection Yesterday and then today it was Willow's early Birthday at Pre-School (she has a summer birthday), then I had to go in and have my final Bridge Put in on the other side of my mouth so I currently can not chew on either side of my mouth!!! Fun Fun Fun!!! Then I rushed home and picked up the kids and took them for their 6 month visit at the Dentist. I think I have had as much time at the Dentist as I care to for a very long time!!! So I have the normal discomfort ect... with those two procedures but am doing much better.

......

So anyway with all the work this week I have just not felt up to making any cards or making any rounds on blogs I hope to catch up on both this weekend!!!

Well, if any of you were here yesterday and read about the Horrible ordeal and Pain I was in here is an update. The Powerful Antibiotic is working good I wonder if the infection in my tooth has been pulled out into my gum and my cheek as they are both really swollen and hard now, but I am not in near as much pain as I was in before!!! Hopefully I can make it until the Dentist gets back on Tuesday to find out exactly what has happened to me and my tooth. I look kind of ridiculous right now with my right lower cheek all swollen and hard and the other side of my face is fine???? If you are wondering what I am talking about you can read the post below it was a pretty bad experience, but I am feeling somewhat better now!!!

So it is Saturday which means it is Etsy Inspiration day and this week our shop for you is called Adopt a Critter Etsy Shop she has hand made critter's monsters and plushies but right now in the shop is 18 of these Sydocian critters you can look in her sold items for inspiration as well there are lots of other items in there to see. She has had over 400 sales and lots of categories in her sold items!!!

So below are my inspiration pieces I liked!!! This weeks prize is a Free Sydocian for the winner of the Etsy Inspiration Challenge. All you have to do is go to the shop, and pick an inspiration piece either from her current or sold items. Then make a project any kind of crafty project will do as long as it was off of inspiration from the shop!!! So when I saw this image above it totally reminded me of the image I had colored up just last night. It is one of the New Wild Sprouts Collection from The Greeting Farm. They were just released yesterday but I was lucky enough to pick mine up at the Pre-sale last week. She was sure fun to color up!!!! I left pictures of the other two girls in the collection also!!!! ....... So Here is my take on this weeks challenge. Her big eyes totally reminded me of that Purple Critter!!! I took several pictures of this card tonight but since I did not get to do it until late I had to scan it because none of the pictures were showing the colors right. I really need to invest in an Ott Light since all of my craft time has to happen after the kiddo's are in bed at night. I rarely get to take pictures of my projects in the day light!!!! Below you can see the small version of one of the pictures I took and it is way different then the scanned version!!!

So I used my Martha Stewart triangle, and SU! scallop border punches on the bottom of the card. I used my Ribbon Nesties for the sentiment. This is perfect plum SU! CS stamped with an SU! set warm words I used the Giggle Sentiment because it seemed to fit this card. I stamped it in SU! whisper white craft ink, and embossed it with metallic silver embossing powder!!!

The other layers are in Various SU! colors, Lavender Lace, Perfect Plum, and Orchid Opulence. The Patterned papers are old and unidentified makers.

I also used my Blossoms and Labels 1 Nesties on this card as well!!! I used glue dots, excess foam and rubber from my stamps to pop up the higher layers of the card, and SU! Stampin Dimensionals to pop up the lower layers of the card.

I am trying to go for that coloring that the Amazing Wicked Pixie on The Club Anya DT does she makes her hair shine so cool!!! I tried it on all three of the Wild Sprouts above. What do you think anywhere close??? She is like an amazing Artist!!!! You should take some time and go through her blog a few days ago she took Anya's and Ian's and created Medival outfits for them and made a Blue Court, Red Court, Green Court, and Purple Court and they costumes she drew were AMAZING!!!! This woman can color like no other!!!!!

Some Good News - and some Baaaaaaad News - In need of Prayer!!!

I have two things to share with you, and after reading the 2nd one you will know why I have no card or project to share with you today.

.......

First the Good News. If you have been reading my blog long you know that back in March I applied for the Inky Impressions Design Team, well I made it to the 2nd round and then today she announced on her blog the Final list of girls who had made the final DT.

.......

Guess what I MADE it!!!! One of my good blogging buddies Cassie Larson (her link is in both the Flutter By Team, and the Twinkling Team on my right side bar) and I both made the final DT. Maria Bell another blog buddy and Pink Cat Studio DT girl who I get to guest with later this year also made the final team so Woooooo Hooooo!!! So So Excited!!! We have not received any info yet on what is expected of us or when we will start Sneak Peeking these incredible new stamps, but look forward to some awesome new projects with these great new stamps!!!!

Now for the Bad News!!! Here is a note I sent out to fellow friends and stampers earlier tonight with the info that is going on right now!!! Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers I really need them right now!!!

Hey Ladies,

Girls I am in need of thoughts and prayer today. I have been in the worst pain of my life it seems a tooth I have that has been crowned and then last year re-drilled into and root canalled is majorly infected and needs root canalled again!!!

.......

I have had 3 C-Sections, My tonsils out as an adult, my gall bladder out 3 months after my first C-Section and several Kidney stones and I have never ever been in pain like this!!!!

.......

It has been a horribly rough day and I still have 3 little ones to take care of. I finally called Hubby at 4:30 today and said he had to come home I just could not do it anymore!!! I seriously thought I was going to have to go to the ER!!!! It is really hard with no family in town and really no one to watch the kids ever!!! It was horrible trying to deal with that pain and try to keep up with a very active 1 year old and 4 year old!!!!

My Dentist is out of state so they sent me to a new Dentist on Call and he prescribed me the big dog in pain medicine (I am an RN and know that other than IV pain meds this is the highest prescription they could give me!!) It is so strong that the Pharmacy would not do the refill he ordered without another written RX so I went back and explained I was scared I would run out over the weekend and I can not handle this pain. His receptionist was a real witchy lady and told me they would not and could not do that!!!!)))

Uuuggghhh I was in a new Dr.'s office with tears pouring out of my eyes (literally!!!!) because the pain was so bad and she was being rude to me. I don't get it he wrote for a re-fill then why could they not write a 2nd RX in case I needed it he obviously thought I would need it or he would not have written a refill on the Script!!!!!

Any way this is the Big Dog of Pain Medicine, and it only worked for about 2 hours and then was back with a vengeance which had me almost feeling insane with the pain.

.......

I will be switching Dentists as soon as this is all over with because this is now the 3rd procedure he has done major procedures and this is the 3rd one that has needed re-done several months down the road!!! I can not take this kind of pain one more time!!!

.......

He is supposed to be a very good dentist but he just has not been one for me!!!!

.......

Finally this evening I am feeling a some slight relief, but just keep me in your thoughts and prayers because my Dentist is not back until Tuesday afternoon to do the work I need done!!! Hopefully the longer the Antibiotic is in me the pain will decrease!!!!

Well off to try to sleep I have not eaten in 2 days now and can not sleep because the pain was so bad I am hoping tonight is better!!!

Thank God for Ensure drinks or I would be in really bad shape!!!!
