Your Love Rocks my World!!!!

Your Love Rocks my World!!!!!
Hi Everyone!!!!
.......
How are you all doing????
This is my 2nd post today and there will be at least one more so be sure to see them all!!! I am on a roll today!!!!
.......
Well I got the card done from the images in the post below!!! Anya and Ian are colored with my copics, on SU paper, I used my Labels 1 Nestibilities from Spellbinders (or Nesties). I diagonalized my nestie, and cut out a striped Dark Pink and lighter pink Patterned paper, then I put it on top of another DSP with lots of squares in many colors. I love this pattern and I have it in several different color schemes because I got it in one of those big packs of paper, but I am afraid I will never be able to find anything like it once I use all of it!!!!!
......
So here is the question of the Day. Do you color your images and then choose your paper, or do you choose your paper and then color your images???? I find it helpful to have images already colored and then when I am ready to make a card I go pick out papers to match my image. However I have friends who do it both ways so what do you do??? Like I said before I have been buying paper here and there for 9 years when it was on sale or if I was in a store and found some I liked so I have thousands of pieces to choose from, so I can normally find something to match my coloring. Plus being an SU Demo I have almost every SU color in stock in my Scrapping Room so I can pull what I want, but I want to know what everyone else does???
.......
.......
So Below are Anya and Ian together on the Label 1 nestie. I think they look so cute together!!!! Rockin around. My good friend Emily from here in town made a cool Rockin Ian card you have to go check it out here Emily's Rocking Ian Card. Emily has such a shabby Chic Style her cards are all very unique, and she just got her Copics this week and this was her first card with her Copics so she came over and stamped up a bunch of Anya's and Ian's to play around with!!!
.......
Here is the Shimmerized View of Anya she has Burgundy Shimmerz on her Guitar, and Red parts of her hair.
.......
Well I better go and design more cards for the upcoming workshops, oh and also do some cleaning too!!! I want a self cleaning house!!!!!
.......
Heather

What Do You Think????

Hi Everyone,
.......
Well I am in the process of making this card to share with everyone in a little while, and I wanted to see what your oppinion is???
.......
I colored these images up on both SU Whisper White CS, and Nina White CS that Janna sent me and I wanted to know if you think one is better than the other???? .......

The Top image is on SU! Paper and the bottom image is on Nina Paper.

I messed up on the lips on one of them, but did not want to start all over!!!

.......

I colored them the same except on the Anya on the SU paper my R00 Copic ran out, which I am pretty disappointed about since I have only been using it for about 10 days!!!! Anyway so the other Anya and Ians only have E00, E51, and E95 for their face coloring and the first Anya has R00, E00, and E95 for her coloring.
.......

This one I am not sure is a fair example because even though they were side by side the light was shining differently on the SU paper then the Nina, but anyway SU left Nina right.

.......

Well I better not make this to long or I will not be able to get the card done and up for you to see in a little while!!! LOL!!!! Let me know which one you like better. Card to be up in a little while!!

A Lily and Billy Valentine Challenge

Riding to the Valentine Tree
.......
Hello All,
.......
I think I am about to give up on my days of getting a second post in. I used to be able to, but things seem so busy right now I can not get back for that second post. Which is O.K., but sometimes I have a second project I want to share with you!!!! LOL.
......
So my good friend Janna Hull of the Pink Cat Studio DT is hosting the first DT challenge of the new team and I wanted to play along. You should to if you own any Pink Cat Stamps because there is a prize for this one. You can see the Challenge rules and such here on the Pink Cat Studio Group on the Paper Craft Planet.
.......
Janna's Challenge was to create a Pink Cat Studio Project that spells out LOVE somewhere in the Project or card.
........
So with my card I decided to do this for the LOVE acronym.
.......
L - Limitless Limbs Set, Lilly, and Lace
.......
O - The shape of O in the Wheels of the Bike Lilly and Billy are riding on.
.......
V - The Valentines Tree Lilly and Billy are riding up the Hill to get to.
.......
E - I joked with Janna that E was going to stand for my Entry into the Challenge, but she told me that did not qualify, so E stands for the Eyelet Lace Punch I used to punch the edges of the pink matte layer.
....... So Here is my Challenge Card for the DT Challenge. I wanted to use my new Pink Cat Studio set Lily and Billy Sweetheart set. I love Lily and Billy and all the wonderful things Melissa does with them!!!! So I choose Lily and Billy on the Bike I love Billy giving Lily a ride in the basket it is just too cute!!!!

.......

I took some post it notes and tore them into the shape of a hill, then took some sponge daubers and Close to Co Co and Chocolate Chip SU ink to make the hill, then I took 5 different colors of my Copics to create the grass and layered and layered it until I got the look I wanted. I am not sure on the grass at first I was leaving it in patches because the hill is brown, but then it ended up being on the whole Hill what do you think????

.......

I got out My limitless Limbs PCS set and stamped the flourishes tree, and then stamped 4 of the Valentines Lily and Billy are holding in the new sweetheart set on the limbs, and then I used the two hearts from the Limitless Limbs set to make the rest of the hearts on the tree. I colored and stamped the hearts using my Real Red, Passion Pink, and Pixie Pink SU markers and my Basic Black marker. I also used my SU Glorious Green marker to make the stems of the hearts on the tree.

....... I drew the sky with two of my Blue Copic shades to make the sky the different colors you see. Lastly I took some white Puffy paint and embossed it to make the puffy white clouds in the sky. Below you can see my clouds

.......

.......

.......

I guess I better go get ready we have an appointment at 6 pm to re-close on our house since the interest rate dropped over 1%, and I am taking a friend out to Dinner for her Birthday we are going to a really nice sit down restaurant with candles and the waiter dress up and they treat you like royalty so it should be nice and a quiet dinner where we can actually talk without a million interruptions!!! LOL!

.......
So here is my Card for this week. Danni sent me these super cute and elegant Flutter By stamps last week so I had to use them on my card for this week!!!
.......
I wanted to make a card with Yellow and Orange in it because I saw a special on PBS about the life of Monarch Butter Fly's and I wanted to create as close of one as I could. Not sure how I did what do you think??
.......
Card Recipe:
.......
Stamps: Flutter By's from Danni (not sure of the names or origin's) SU's set Flight of the Butter Fly for the Flutter By background on the Orange and Yellow CS.
Inks: Believe it or not no Copics today. I used SU Basic Black, Only Orange, Yo Yo Yellow, Summer Sun, and Really Rust Markers for the images. For the Flutter By background I used my new Champagne Versa Mark Dazzle, and it really adds some shimmer and shine to the card!!! Love me my glitter!!!!!
Papers: SU CS in Whisper White, Only Orange, Summer Sun, Yo Yo Yellow, and Tangerine Tango.
Accessories: SU Punches in Circles 1 1/4" and 1 3/8", I used an UID elegant corner rounder as well, and my Scallop Square Nesties for the large Flutter By, and the Matte around it in Orange. I also loosely followed Madelynn's Twinkling Tuesdays Sketch challenge as well.
.......

Above you can see my Flutter By Image, not sure it really looks like a Monarch, but I tried!!!! LOL!!!! This image stamps up so pretty I am so glad Danni sent it to me to use!!! I wish you could see the glitter sparkle that Vers Mark Dazzle gives the images you stamp it with!!!!

.......

Princess Anya - a Sketch for Madelynn's Twinkling Tuesdays Challenge

My Twinkling Shimmerized Princess
Hello Everyone,
.......
Well today is Tuesday and we all know what that means a Twinkling Tuesday Sketch Challenge from the very talented 8 year old Madelynn!!!!!
.......
I can not get over how great this little girl is with her sketches!!!! When I saw this one I just went OH My!!!!! It was sooo cool, yet just a tiny bit daunting!!!!! I knew it would be so much fun to do though, and I have been telling you how I have all these Anya's and Ian's already colored up and ready to put to paper so I got out my Shimmerized Princess Anya and picked out some pretty pink papers and went to work!!!!!
.......
Here is Madelynn's Sketch for this week, I really thought it was so much fun you have to play along when you have a moment!!!!
.......
Here is the Card I came up with for my Anya Twinkling Tuesday Sketch Challenge. I used the pretty Pink Polka Dotted Paper. The think layer behind that is a double sided Card stock that is very light pink on one side and a little darker pink on the other side. You can also see that in the folded down corners on the middle layer it shows one side of the paper and then folded down the other side of the paper.
.......
I adore that pink swirly paper I have been wanting to use it for a long time now!!!!
.......
So for my two double layered circles on the sketch I added the two pearl and silver buttons and for my square or rectangle that is what I mounted Anya on.
.......
Card Recipe:
.......
Papers: SU CS in Pink Passion, Whisper White, and 3 UID DSP's.
Inks: Momento Black Tuxedo Ink, Copics in
RV00, RV04, RV09, Y00, Y04, Y06, E00, R00, E51, E95
Stamps: Princess Anya from The Greeting Farm
Accessories: Crop-a-Dile, White Brads from Paper Studio, Bubble Gum and Burgundy Shimmerz, (Painted on the Eye Shadow, Star, Crown, and Light Pinks of Anya's Gown. SU Corner Rounder Heart Punch. Two Pearl and Silver Buttons from a Huge Bag-O-Buttons from Hobby Lobby.
.......
.......
I am so sad you can not see the Shimmerz as well as I usually can get it to show up, but I did get it to show some. I usually turn my card a bit more with my hand into the light to get the real good shimmerz view, but my Camera Batteries are going dead and I only had like two seconds to get these pictures. The Shimmerz really makes her Eye Shadow and Eye's so pretty though!!!
.......
.......
Well I really hope you enjoyed my cards I think this one is one of my favorites in a while!!! Funny I used to never be a Pink Girl, but I am now I really am starting to like it!!! I think it took having daughters to start liking Pink a lot more!!!! LOL. Hop over to the ever talented - Jessica's Blog The Whimsical Butterfly. To see the sketch and all the DT girls samples!!
.......
I hope you are having a Stampendous Tuesday or is that a Twinkling Tuesday???? Hmmm???

Stamper's Club Project #2 A Snowy Scene in a Globe

A Snow Globe Winter Scene!
Hello,
.......
Well I guess I inadvertently took the weekend off from blogging, I did not plan to, but that is how it worked out.
.......
Saturday I thought I would post this card, but my friend Janna kept me on the phone for hours and I tried and tried to get off the phone with her to no avail, (LOL!!!) then we had a Birthday party for my Nephew which is an hour away so 2 hours of driving, and we were at the party for 4 hours so by the time I got home it was rush like crazy to get the kids situated, in bed, run to the store to pick up some stuff for club finish getting all the stuff ready for Stamper's Club and then (Oh yeah insert messing with the fish tank and fish for 2 hours again because the levels were all at Danger levels again even though I had spent 5 hours on Thursday trying to make everything better, but Sigh we have not even had the fish for 2 weeks and I am sort of regretting it, not totally because the kids love them, and they are fun to watch, but it has added hours and hours, and hours onto Mommy's schedule and I just do not have those hours to give right now!!!! LOL. Well if the tank would just work the way it is supposed to and the levels would not go into danger zone every couple of days it would not be such a hassle. This time 1 more fish did not survive, maybe God just wants this to be a very, very memorable experience for me!!! LOL!!!!!
.......
So anyway I did not get this posted until today because Sunday it was Church then Stamper's Club, then helping my friend order her copics and then it was 11pm and I had to go to bed so Here is my card finally!!!
.......
.......
The Winter Scene, and the Snow flakes are all stamped in the new Versa Mark Dazzle (Champagne shade). If you do not have any of this new Versa Mark you have to get some it adds so much sparkle and well Dazzle to your paper!!!! You can sort of see the sparkle if you look at the top of the card!!! SU Card stock in Whisper White, Brocade Blue, and Bashful Blue were used for this card.
.......
We stamped the House scene on Bashful Blue Paper, and then punched it out with the larges SU circle punch 1 5/8" circle. The bottom of the Globe is punched out with the SU round tab punch on SU's Shimmery Silver Metallic Paper. The White Snow is Puffy Paint, for club I had them draw in all the snow with a White Gel Pen and it looked pretty cool, but I realized today some one went home with my sample so I had to make a new one to blog with, and so I ended up using Puffy Paint this time. I think both techniques work well!!!
.......
We cut out the Top note with the Big Shot, and distressed the edges with Brocade Blue ink, and embossed it with the Big Shot and the Cuttle Bug D'vine Swirls embossing folder. We used glue dots to glue the Blue part of the globe onto the silver base and Stampin Dimensionals to adhere the whole globe to the top note. We used Bashful Blue and Brocade Blue SU 1/4" gross grain ribbon for the bow. Then we adheased the Top not to the rest of the card using excess rubber and foam.
........
Well I now have to run and get all the designing I did not get done last week done this week. I have so many cards to make in the next couple of days it is not funny!!!! But hey all the more Eye Candy for you to see!!!! Yea!!!!
.......
Have a Stampendous Day!!!!!

Some Amazing things I got this week!!! 3 wonderful Crafters too!!!!

Hi All,
.......
Well I received some amazing RAK's this week and I had to show you!!!!

Thank You Regina way to many of those chocolates and all of the Gummy Bears are gone now!!! I adore Gummy Bears how did you know??? My kiddo's loved them too!!!! You are so thoughtful and sweet Regina and your comments mean so much to me!!! You were one of my very first followers and commenters and I will always treasure that!!!!! Thank You for being my Friend!!!!!

.......

The other 2 came today. The first one I knew was coming, but had no idea how incredibly wonderful the cards in it would be. It was from my now totally good and close friend Janna Hull. Janna from Stamps Paper and Glitter Oh My Blog, and I are now addicted to talking to each other on the phone about stamping and stuff!!! I love this girl she is so great to talk to and I feel lost if I do not talk to her now!!! So glad I met you Janna!!!!! Hey Janna look what color I made your link in!!!!!! LOL!!! Janna also sent me a good amount of Nina Card Stock so I could try it out and see what kind of white I like best for coloring with my Copics on!

The Card Janna made for Willow above. Willow loves reading books, and she loves, loves, loves, Yellow!!!!!

.......

The Card Janna made for Piper. Piper got a black eye due to the swing set a little bit ago, and her very favorite color is Purple!!!!

.......
Janna made these cards for my 2 daughters Piper (whose favorite color is Purple, and Willow whose favorite color is Yellow!) These cards are drop dead gorgeous!!!! My girls were in love with them at first site, and they will not let them out of their site. They both sat down tonight to make Janna cards (their idea) Piper used her "Piper" stamps (Sarah Kaye, but she thinks they are Piper stamps cause I could not find any Piper stamps!!!), and Willow used her Whiff of Joy "Willow" stamps she got for Christmas and both girls also made her a card of their own design too!!!! Thank You sooooooo much Janna and I will love these images!!!!!

......

The last RAK was from my new blogging friend Danni from Danni's Dreams Blog and who I am honored to be on her Featured Stamper Team for Flutter By Wednesdays!!!!

A Valentines Day Snow Globe 1st Sneak Peak of SU Stampers Club Project for this weekend!

"Will You Be My Valentine???"
Hello,
.......
I could go on for hours and hours about my day today, but let me just tell you I spent almost 5 hours saving the lives or our new Fish!!!! Oh My word what a day!!!!!
.......
They are all fine now and we only had 2 out of 10 die yesterday, but I was trying to keep a very sweet 4 year old from having her heart broken!!!!
.......
So needless to say the day was pretty much shot and I had so much stuff House and Stamping wise that needed done!!!! I am so far behind, but I did get this 1st Project for stampers club this Sunday done. I know what the other two are going to be it is just getting them designed and cut for and the sample put together that needs done, and the other 9 projects I wanted to be done by Sunday may have to be later next week.
.......
O.K. I know you are probably tired of hearing about my day and want to see the Eye Candy right????
......
So my theme for Stampers Club this month is Snow Globes. I wanted at least one of the projects to be Valentines Day themed as we will not be meeting again until after Valentines day. Now to my friend Jami Bova you are going to laugh when you see this card because I sort of cased the Christmas Card you sent me and changed it around and used different images, but you will recognize it I am sure!!!
.......
I always try to make my Monthly Stampers Club project cute and creative, yet doable so that 10 ladies can get 3 different projects done in our allotted 2 - 2 1/2 hours of club time. I think this one is doable, but one of our other projects is pretty involved so I am hoping we can get them all done on time!!!! I will share that project tomorrow or Friday!!!!
.......
So Here is the first Card.
.......
I used the SU Round Tab punch for the top of the Snow Globe, and I actually added some ribbon up there after taking these pictures it added a lot to the card. I used an old SU corner punch I picked up at a Garage Sale for $4
.......
(Now every time I talk about picking stuff up from a Garage Sale it is the same one I am talking about every time. I have only been to one, but I picked up a million great SU finds there!!!)
.......
I drew a diagonal line across the corner punch and cut it off then snipped the edges off to leave the heart open like it is and then glued onto the corners with Glue Dots. The Large White Circle was cut out with my coluzzel, and the scalloped circle was cut with my Nesties. I first stamped the images onto Whisper White Paper inside the nestie sitting on my paper to get the right placement. Then I took the nestie off the paper and colored in my images.
.......
I choose this retired SU Valentines Day set for our 1st Card this time. I usually use current SU sets, but this time this set was toooo cute to pass up!!!!
.......
I could not decide which was more work coloring in the white background, or cutting out the images and gluing them onto a colored paper background. I ended up deciding it would be less work coloring in the white background. I actually did it all with my BG00 Copic, but I will have my SU Girls do it with chalks or Aqua Painters and ink - that will use much less ink up!!!!
.......
.......
The Boy and girl were colored with:
.......
SU Markers: Summer Sun, Brilliant Blue, Real Red, Chocolate Chip, Basic Black.
Copics: B00, B02, B08
R00, E00, E95
RV00, RV04, RV09
B100,
E00, E51, E95
Red I can not remember the colors
Yoo, Y02, Yo4, Y08
I colored in the falling snow with my SU White Gel Pen, and I made the puffy snow with White Puffy Paint Heat set with my Embossing Gun. (I am always on the phone with my good friend Janna Hull when I do Puffy paint not sure why???)
.......
Here you can see the puffy paint better it is so much fun to watch it get taller and taller!!!!
.......
I glued the scalloped layer onto the white layer which I had already distressed the edges with a Kitchen Knife (one of these days I will get me that SU distressing tool!!!)
I then adhered the White layer onto the SU Regal Rose Card Back with excess rubber and foam from my stamps to really pop that layer up. I also glued the Round tab punch folded in half to the White layer. I drew the white lines on with my white gel pen again.
.......
.......
I guess that is about it for this project!
.......
Have a Stampendous Night and I will be back tomorrow during the day (Friday)

Oh I thought I would add a quick picture of Jami's totally awesome Christmas Card she sent me. Now I had choosen Snow Globes for our theme for this month about 6 months ago so I already had planned to do 3 snow globe projects, but when Jami's card came I knew I wanted to case a few of her wonderful ideas for our Snow Glob Stampers Club!!!!!!

Hello - Ian! Madelynn's Twinkling Tuesday's Challenge - Card

Hello Mr. Ian!!!!
Hi There!!!!
.......
This is my 2nd post today so read below for my Flutter By Wednesday Card.
.......
Now before I even go anywhere with this post I have to tell you as I was on the phone with Janna this morning she pulled up my blog to the Lily and Billy Butter Fly Huntin card and said Oh My Heather you did a wonderful job on your Twinkling Tuesday Sketch. Well I had not really made that card for the sketch, but I made it after this card I did make for the sketch so they actually do work for the sketch.
.......
So Any Hoo I guess I have 2 Cards for this weeks Madelynn's Twinkling Tuesday Sketch Challenge!!! If you click on the Sketch I have it linked to The Whimsical Butterfly Blog that will take you to Madelynn's weekly sketch and you can see her Mommy's very talented work, and you can see the other DT Samples for the week. This weeks featured Twinkling Girl is my friend Danni who does the Flutter By challenges.
.......

I just love Hello Ian!!! He is so sweet and gentle it seems, with maybe a little mischief behind that bent head??? I choose two DSP's that coordinated and then the piece of ribbon was just sitting on my workspace from a card I did that week and Wowza could that ribbon not be more perfect for this card???? It is double sided and both sides meet the colors of the whole card!!! It was a pure mistake perfect find that is for sure!!!! I first colored up Ian and then went looking for paper, and this is what my fingers found!!!

.......

Here is a close up of Just Ian with his pretty yellow flower he is soooo cute is he not??? I love The Greeting Farm Stamps now I am hooked!!! Thanks Jessica!!!!

........

I choose SU Certainly Celery, and Bashful Blue for the CS colors and then the Ribbon and the Papers are UID I know the papers came in one of those huge paper packs I get when they are 50% off. I have been buying Paper for 10 years now here and there when it is on sale and I counted it all and organized it in 12 categories a while back and I have over 2,000 pieces of 12 x 12 CS, and 3,000 pieces of DSP. This is not including all my SU Paper because that was before I started SU so add another couple of thousand to that. However I am finding making all these cards you can go through paper pretty darn fast so I am glad I have it all!!!!

.......

So Here are two final views of the 2 cards I made that work with Madelynn's sketch this week I hope you play along too it is so much fun to do!!!!!

.......

Well one Scheduled post left later today!!! I hope you are having a Stampendous Wednesday. We have a hugely busy night ahead of us and Hubby is out of town again, so Yea!!!!!

"Flutter By Hunt'in"
Good Morning All,

Don't forget to stop by all their blogs and show them some love for their hard work on this Weeks Flutter By cards. Danni has asked us all to stay on for at least 1 more month so you will be seeing many more Flutter By Wednesday Posts here!!!!! Yea!!!!!
.......
Did you notice the new Flutter By Wednesday Button on my side bar???? Jami Bova (Sgt. Stamper) Designed that button for us to put on our blogs, I have the Blinkie and link to Jami's Web design studio where you can order water marks, siggy's, blog boarders, custom web design and much more and she has great prices and great designs for you. She personalizes each design specifically to what you want and your personality!!!! Check it out too!!!!
.......
For me this week it really was hard work. I started this card 4 different times and finally choose to cover up the last mistake (only Tasha and Janna know what it is, and I'm keeping my mouth shut unless you notice it!!!) Most of my problems can be blamed on a very interested and mischievous 1 year old little boy!!!! I did finally get it done though and here is my Card for this Week's Flutter By Wednesdays Featured Stamper Challenge.
.......
This Week I choose to use my Lily and Billy stamps along with their butterfly catching equipment from Lily and Billy Accessories #2. I also used the smallest Flutter by from my Flight of the Butterfly SU stamp set. They are the ones flying around the edge of the card. The Flutter By's in Lily and Billy's Net's and fluttering above them are also from the Lily and Billy Accessories #2 from Pink Cat Studio.
.......
I took this picture to give you a view of the wonderful Shimmerz on Lily's Dress, earrings, pony tails, and the Pink Butterfly's. You can sort of see it here, I took one more picture that was better but for some reason it did not import to my computer so I used this one instead.
.......
I also made this card for the current Pink Cat Studio Challenge going on over at Paper Craft Planet in our Pink Cat Group. The Challenge is to use
1. Something Pink
2. Some kind of Critter (I am saying Flutter By's are critters here)
3. Some kind of Sparkle or Shimmerz in your card
So PCS (Pink Cat Studio) and Pink, Critter, Shimmerz or Sparkle. (Get it???)
.......

Here is a close up of Lilly and Billy on their Flutter By Hunt!!!

.......

O.K. I guess that is about it for Flutter By this week remember to stop by the other Team Members blogs and see their great Flutter By Cards too!!! Oh and you can play along to earn that great Blog Candy as Well!!!!

.......

I have 2 already scheduled posts for later today for two more projects I have been working on so do not forget to check back later!!!

.......

Have a Stampendous Wednesday!!!

A Few Cards from the Beggining Days of my Blog.

Hi All,
.......
Well as I have not had any stamping time for 2 days now, due to spending some family time with the Holiday, I thought I would go back and pick out some of my favorite cards from the beginning days of my blog to share with you. I did not really have any readers then except for my Good Friend/SU down line/next door neighbor Tasha, Emily my other SU down line and good friend, and my Mother in Law so most of these cards will probably be new to you, and I hope you enjoy them. Many of them I taught in my Monthly Stampers Club. If I did I will post the month we did it in.
.......
This week is going to be one of my busiest stamping weeks ever!!!! It is not usually like this, but I have got to get stamping tomorrow as I have 14 projects that have to be done by next Sunday. 3 for my Monthly Stampers Club next Sunday, 9 designs for a Huge SU workshop we do every year during Sale-a-Bration. We have 26 designs and 9 of them are mine to get done. I also have Flutter By cards to finish and a few other projects as well. So I will be a busy Stamper this week!!!!
.......
So here are some cards from my Blogs first days, and don't worry I saved others to share another time as well. Let me know what you think when you are done looking!!!
.......
Stampers Club June 08
We made this card using Michelle Zindorf's technique with brayers and sponges. She teaches how to create a light around your images with sponging and so the flowers look like the light is shining down on them. I totally desined the card above, but the card below is close to one of her designs that I cased. In the card above the Silver swirly image is embossed in silver. I had them use torn post it notes to create the hill the flowers are growing on. All Supplies SU
......
We did this card the same month. This was another one of Michelle Zindorf's Cards. My Club girls loved creating this card using the Brayer, and painting the seedlings with Versa Mark ink refill then embossing them with clear embossing powder to resist the Brayerd sunset.
I took the picture of all three cards to show you that no two cards ever look alike when doing this technique. It is such a cool technique!!! All Supplies SU
I made 3 of these cards for My Hubby, and his Brother and Dad for Harvest last June. I used the same Brayer and Emboss resist to make the Wheat Scene. I stamped each piece of Wheat Twice, and then painted on Versa Mark refill then embossed, then Brayered the scene. I loved the Farmer Billy on this card!!!!! From Pink Cat Studio
Stampers Club May O8
I first learned how to make these cute Onsie cards from Lauren Meaders blog. I had the idea to make the cute dress outfit with my Colluzel wavy pattern to make the dress part. I also designed the little boys denim jumper. These are so fun to make!!!! I have a tutorial made up I can send you if you want to know how to make them. All supplies for the Onsie Cards are SU
The white and pink one is the original design I learned from Lauren, and then the dress and the two images below I changed up to make them my own. I thought this Penguin was so cute all over the onsie Here is the little boys outfit I designed.
In this card above I took torn post it notes and sponge daubers, and I sponged each diagonal layer and then moved the post it notes down and sponged the next layer, and so on and so on. I water colored the images of the baby gift pack, and I paper pieced the Pregnant girls outfit. This was one of my favorite cards ever, however it never even got one comment on SCS so maybe it was not as good as I thought it was!!! LOL
All supplies for this Card are SU except for ribbons are Hobby Lobby.
.......
I made 12 of these Bella Cards. I cased the original idea from Lauren again. She had made this great card for her Mom for her Birthday and I fell in love with it and had to buy some Bella's so I bought the ones I needed to make 12 cards for all the Mom's, Grandma's, and special Mom figures along with Aunts and very close friends in our lives I will tell you what there were 13 to 16 Bella's on each card and I was pretty tired of my Bella's when I got done. However it was so much fun making them and doing all the Coloring. This was before my Copics so all images were colored with my SU markers. Each person got the Bella's that fit her "Stages of Mommy Hood. Everyone got the Bride, and the Pregnant Bella, and I think the Cleaning Bella and Fix it Bella, but all the other Bellas were what fit that particular recipients life. So each Mommy got a different card.!!!! All supplies for the Mommy Hood Bella Cards are Stamping Bella except for the Papers which were SU Card Stocks and UID DSP.
If there were more Bella's that fit their life's other than the ones on the outside I added them to the inside. The Above Blond Bella Card I made for myself. You bet I thought I deserved one after making 12 other ones!!!
On the Top of the inside I wrote out the stages of their Mommy Hood like if they had two babies close in age I gave them the Double Stroller Bella. This Card and the one below were a Dark Brown haired Bella and a Light Brown Haired Bella. I made Red, Dark Brown, Light Brown, Light Blond, and Dark Blond Bella cards depending on who it was for.
.......
I made 7 of these cute Billy cards for Fathers day for all the Daddy's and Grandpa's in our livesWell just one Daddy, but lots of Grandpa's!!! This Set also has Billy from Pink Cat Studio on it.
Stampers Club March 08
We did 3 different Black Magic cards this month.
This
card if you have never done this technique you have to try it. It is even more stunning in person then on the web!!!!
All Supplies SU
I made this Bella Card for Piper's Teachers last year at the end of the year. I had just gotten my Bella's and had to play with them. I printed out on heavy SU Card stock My Teacher..... My Hero and then punched them out with my SU punches. I also took the round life saver thing around the teachers picture that said a cut above the rest... a cut above the rest and put it around the teachers picture. I used an SU Primary Colors Simply Scrappin Pack Card stock stickers for the cut above the rest round frame.
All Supplies SU and Stamping Bella.
I made this card for my first Sketch Saturday Challenge. I love that She's all that set with the bride in it along with the 3 other really cute silhouette stamps. All supplies for this card were SU except for the lace edge ribbon and the double ring stamp got those at Hobby Lobby.
.......
Well I guess that is all for tonight I am off to start stamping!!!!

How To Make a Childs Art Kit Gift Set - Lily and Billy Style

"Lily as a Princess" - Gift Set
Hi All,
.......
Well I am going to share with you a Kit I made today for a little girls Birthday Party. I needed a gift for one of Piper's little friends, and I thought of this idea to make a "Princess Art Kit".
.......
I am going to show you some pictures of what the gift items looked like before I started and then again after they were decorated to make:
........
"A Princess Art Kit"
.......
.......
So the first Picture is all the items I used to make up the
"Princess Art Kit Gift Set"
.......
I bought a Cute Princess bag. I was going to make my own, but when I saw this one and the Crown comes off to make the little girl a crown I knew it would be perfect for this gift.
.........
.......
So there was a gift bag, Scented Crayons, Journal, Book with pages to paint, Water Color Paints, Pencils, a cute lavender and Velvet Feathered Pen, and Disney Princess Rings. I changed the Disney Princess rings into a Lily Princess ring, and made all the other items "Lily Princess" decorated items to go in the "Princess Art Kit"
........

Lily was colored up 3 different ways Light pink dress, and bright pink and lavender accents, Bright Pink Dress and light pink and lavender accents, and lavender dress and light and dark pink accents. I learned it takes about 5 to 6 minutes to cut out each Lily. I have never timed it before, but when you are cutting out 11 of them you start looking at the clock. I tried a bunch of different ways to make it faster and all of them took 5 to 6 minutes. I have told Melissa over at Pink Cat Studio we need a Lily Punch!!! LOL

........

I forgot to take a picture of it, but I also wrote on the bag in the star.
"Princess Art Kit" I dressed up some more of the Cinderella Lily, and Snow White Lily, and Tinkerbell Lily's for this Gift Bag.
.......
Here are a view close up's of the altered art items to make them Princess Lily art items. I used my shimmerz paints in various places all over the kit items to really make them sparkle!!!!
.......
Here is the "Princess Lily" ring I made.
The crown looks red, but it is light pink and bright pink. My girls loved them. Another favorite of thiers was the Pretty velvet and feathered lavender Pen with "Princess Lily" on it!!
.......

I just added the above close up so you could see the Shimmerz I painted on different images of the "Princess Lily's" and the Accessory images of the kit.

.......

Well I hope the little girl who gets this loves it. The next one will go faster because I know what I want to do now, but this took me around 5 hours to do this, but that is mostly because I had to design it and start from scratch and next time I will have a much better idea of what I want. Maybe next time I will not be cutting the Lily's out, or at least not 11 of them anyway!!! LOL.

.......

An Etsy Inspired Challenge - From Heart Hugs Designs Blog

An Etsy Inspired Rose
Good Morning All,
.......
Well I did so much stamping and coloring, and creating last night I have a ton of stuff to share with you today, but I am going to do it one post at a time.
.......
I have been following Ashley's Blog Heart Hugs Designs for many months now, and I really love her Insperation Etsy Challenges she does every week. I have only been able to play a couple of times but I want to change that now. I want to get more challenges done.
........
So this week the Etsy Shop was Equivoliqe. This shop has lots of Photography images you can purchase and we were to pick out a piece or two to take inspiration from. I picked out this piece. For my inspiration. I loved all the Pinks and the Rose was so pretty too!
.......
So the Above Card was my inspiration piece and here is the Card I made from the inspiration:
.......

Card Recipe:
I took my Labels #1 Nesties and Cut and embossed a piece of Pretty in Pink SU Card stock, and Pink Passion CS with the largest and next largest Nestie Die.
.......
I took a piece of Regal Rose SU Card Stock and embossed it with my Textile CB folder and my big shot.
......
I made the Card back with the really pretty Rose Red CS it is more dark pinkish then this picture shows.
........
I then took a piece of Rose Red CS and used the smallest die from the Label #1 Nesties and cut it out to make the sentiment. I hand wrote the sentiment with my White Gel Pen.
........
The Rose is colored in with:
.......
Pretty In Pink SU marker over all. I took a Passion Pink Marker and ran it accross the edges and detailed parts of the stamp to get the varying colors.
I took Burgandy Embossing powder and my White Craft SU Ink Pad and stamped the overlay of the flower then embossed it with the Burgandy Powder.
I then went back in my flower and accented parts with my Pretty in Pink, Passion Pink, Regal Rose SU markers, and my RV00 Copic.
.......
The second lg Nestie is popped up from the first layer, and the 1st layer is popped up from the Card with excess foam and rubber from my stamps, and the Sentiment nestie is popped up less than the other two are with Stampin Deminsionals from the Card Back.

Here is a picture of just the Stamped Rose and the detail of it.

.......

Here is my hand written sentiment.

.......

Finally there is a Side view of the Card. I got the idea for this "Tent" card from yesterdays post on the Whimsical Butterfly blog she made a really cute Tent card.

.......

Well I better go get Kiddo's down for Naps talk to you more in a little bit. I hope you enjoy the Etsy Inspired Challenge it was a lot of fun!!!

.......

Have a Stampendous Friday!!!!

Lizzie with Muff a Whiff of Joy Stampation - for Madelynn's Twinkling Tuesdays Sketch Challenge #4

Snow Flurries????
Hi All,
.......
Well my computer was just doing some mad things!!! It just took me 40 minutes to edit 5 pictures. It took 10 minutes for Photo shop to open the photos. I finally hit Control Alt Delete and it was all my Internet connection. I closed it down and then the last 4 of the 5 pictures took less than 5 minutes to edit!!! Wow how frustrating!!! Oh this is the 2nd post today so don't forget to scroll down and see this weeks Flutter By Wednesday Card too!!!
.......
Well I am posting my take on Madelynn's Twinkling Tuesday Sketch Challenge from this week. I finished it last night, but I wanted to leave my Flutter By Card up for a while before posting this one. Don't you just love Flutter By Wednesdays???? I am having so much fun with it!!!
.......
Another Challenge I am loving is 8 year old Madelynn's weekly sketch challenge. She is so good at coming up with these sketches and I think this one has been one of my favorites so far. You can head on over to Madelynn's Mommy's blog The Whimsical Butterfly - to find out the details and how to play also to get links to all of the DT girls samples from this week. After you look through this blog you will not wonder how Madelynn is so talented. The Whimsical Butterfly has quickly become one of my favorite blogs to read and see all the amazing talent Jessica has to share with us!!!
.......
So here is this weeks sketch Challenge:
.......
Here is my take on the Challenge:
I had fun with this one!!! I took My yet unlinked Lizzie with Muff from Whiff of Joy image and inked her up and started coloring. I am sorry ladies I can not remember all the colors I used and I do not have time to run up stares and look, but I used both SU Markers, and Copics. The reds were copics, the Blues were SU Brocade Blue, Bashful Blue, and Bordering Blue, The Browns were copics and the Skin was Copics E00, Roo, E51, E95. Sorry I do not have them written down for you. I took my white Puffy Paint and put it on the fur of her Coat scarf, and boots, then used my embossing gun to heat set it and puff it up. I love watching it rise and rise up!!!
Can you tell how Puffy the Puffy Paint is???? It is so cool!!!!
.......
I cuttled a piece of Bayou Blue Card stock with my D'Vine Swirls CB folder for the piece behind Lizzy. I then took some real Red CS and used my Cross Hatch SU Background stamp and some Versa Mark ink to do the pattern on the RR CS. I punched the bottom with a Martha Stewart Lace Edge punch. I used my Crop-A-Dile to punch the wholes for the Rhinestone Brads in Fire and Ice Circles and I used Blue Ice, and Red Fire Brads from my SU Rhinestone Brads.
.......
I took some of my new SU Felt Flurries Snow Flakes and added them to the top left of the Card with my Crop-a-Dile and another Fire Rhinestone Brad in the middle. I used one of the Large Medium, and Small Snowflakes. I love them they are so fun!!!! I popped several of the layers up with SU Stampin Dimensionals as well. The shimmery silver ribbon was from Hobby Lobby.
.......

Well I hope you enjoy this card I think it is one of my Favorites in a while, I am not sure why, I just liked it when it was done. Maybe it is the colors??? I am not quite sure, what do you think??? I am working on Ashley's Etsy Challenge now so I will post that and pictures of that Wonderful RAK from Germany later!!!!

......

Have a Stampendous Wednesday Everyone!!!!

Flutter By Wednesdays Week #2

Flutter By Wednesday's
.......
Hello,
.......
Well it is Week #2 for the Flutter By Wednesday Featured Stamper Group, I am enjoying being part of this group so much!!!! I have met some really neat ladies on the team!!!!
Flutter By Wednesday's Featured Stampers Team:
.......
.......
This week I chose to use my Brand New SU Stamp Sets I earned last month. I had been eyeing Flight of the Butter Fly for a while so I was very happy to earn it for free!
.......
Well as I was planning this card out I had the colors Bright Pink, Orange, and Yellow Pop into my head not sure why. So I picked out some Passion Pink CS for the Card Back, and then some bright yellow DSP with yellow swirls through it. The swirls in the DSP inspired me to get out my D' vine Swirls CB embossing folder and cuttle the Pink cardback with it, as well. Plus what goes better with Flutter By's then swirls????
......
So here is my full card below.
.......

The Pretty Organza Sheer Shimmery Orange ribbon is actually more the color of the large orange Flutter By to it's right, not sure why it photographs so dark.

.......

So for the Big Flutter By's I inked them in Yo Yo Yellow, Only Orange, and Passion Pink SU inks then I took one of the corresponding foreground design stamps for the large butter flys and stamped it onto the Flutter By in Whisper White Craft ink, and then covered it in Glittery Shiny Silver Embossing Powder, and I embossed them so with the glitter in the powder they really have some bling for us!!!!

.......

For the 4 smaller Flutter By's I stamped them in Yo Yo Yellow, Pink Passion, and Only Orange, and then I took one of the other colors and swiped it across the edges of the inked image, and it distressed the images in that color to give the Flutter By's a variegated look. I took Some SU Whisper White CS and cut out my top note with my big shot. I then took my Pink Passion SU Marker and then inked in all the slash marks already in the big shot shape. Then I took my Only Orange SU Marker and edged the entire top note edge with the orange.

.......

I stamped the Sentiment also from that set in Memento Tuxedo Ink.

The Sentiment says:

If nothing ever changed there would be no Butter Fly's. - Unknown.

.......

The top note is popped out with excess rubber and foam from my stamp sets, and then the Flutter By's were all attached with a glue dot under their body and then the wings were folded up.

.......

This next picture shows you the card from a side view so you can see all the dimension this card has!!!!

.......

This card was so much fun to make and as much as I love coloring my images it was nice for once to use some of my bold images and get out the embossing gun as well!!!! The Colors went well with all the Flutter By's I think. What do you think????

.......

I was going to share a second card, but I am saving it for next week so next Wednesday there will be 2 Flutter By Cards.

.......

Something about Flutter By Wednesdays:

Remember Danni is going to be giving some Blog Candy away at the end of the month to all those who play along with their flutter By Cards and then link them to Danni's Flutter By Wednesday Posts. You can be entered additional times every week you do a card, and you will get a Flutter By Set from the Angel Company who Danni Demonstrates for what better gift???? Plus there are lots of other goodies in the candy. All ya gotta do is make a card and share it with us how easy is that????

.......

.......

Do not forget to drop by the other girls on the Team to check out their wonderful Creations too!!!! They all rocked it last week!

.......

Well I will be back with some more Cards and with some pictures of the best RAK I got in the mail yesterday it was from my Wonderful Blogging Friend from Germany Regina! Regina was kind enough to mail me a bunch of very yummy German Chocolates, I mean a bunch like 4 different very generous amounts and kinds, plus some yummy German gummy bears, plus her packaging was all very Lauren Meader Esque it was sooo cool, and Regina's friend Sylvia stamped me up a bunch of Magnolia's, Tilda's, and some Whiff of Joy images like 30 of them!!!!

.......

Wow Regina I am so blown away by your kindness!!!! Regina mailed the package to me on December 4th and it just got here today I have no idea what happened to it, but WOW it was worth the wait (even though I had no idea it was coming!!!!)

.......

Luckily my good friend and next door Neighbor speaks Germon so she could read me what the Chocolates said!!! Woooo Hooooo Regina thank you ever so much!!!

The Fish Are Here!!! A couple of Fish Cards to Celebrate

Well Hello Everyone!!!
.......
How are You Today????
.......
Well we got Willow's Fish Today Finally. Most of you remember that one of her Christmas Presents was a Fish Tank from Santa, and some Money to go get some fish. We finally got the Tank up and running yesterday and so today it was ready for some Fish!!!
.......
I promised her when I picked her up from Pre-School we would go to one of the Pet Shops and pick out some Fish. Now we had already gone last Wednesday just to get an idea of what she wanted so today was just finalizing it. Who knew how expensive it is to start up a fish tank??? Needless to say it took way more money then Santa left her, but I had to be careful because I said something to Piper about no we could not go get something additional she wanted in the fish tank because Mommy and Daddy had already spent way more on it then we planned to, and she said "Well you know Mommy Santa brought Willow the Tank, and he left money for Willow to get fish so you really did not spend much at all on it"!!!! LOL O.K. Mommy shut mouth now and pay attention to what you are saying I thought!!!! LOL!!!!
.......
So now we have the fish and I have some hilarious pictures of the 3 Cats each when they first discovered the fish and what they did I will try to add those later. The kids spent hours sitting and watching them and they have dragged toys and books over to where the fish tank is just to sit and watch it while they play. It is in a little spot behind my smaller couch (love seat) and the space is pretty small so seeing my 3 kiddo's and Grace the neighbor girl and Piper's best friend crowded in there pretending they were Mommy's and daughters who just got fish today was pretty comical!!!!!
.......
So anyway I thought it only fitting to post some Fish Cards to go along with getting Fish. These cards may be a different level of cards than what I usually share here on my blog, but I taught these in my Monthly Stampers club and well if 10 ladies are going to get 3 projects each done in 2 hours then they can not be Mega involved I have learned, but I always try to make them fun and creative yet doable during our Club time!!!1
.......
I taught these Cards earlier this year to my Monthly Stampers Club. The first one is a Slider Card. I cut two slits in the CS about 1/2 inch apart in two places one set for the turtle, and one set for the two fish. Around the two slits you slide in a piece of card stock and wrap it around the two slits making like a ring around the slits. You then glue the two ends of the ring together and then you Glue your stamped item on it. It will then slide back and forth. The two fish slide towards and away from each other, and the Turtle slides right and left.
.......
I wanted two of the Orange and Black fish (Clown Fish I think????) to slide towards each other, but my stamp only stamped one way so I stamped it again upside down and now I had two fish facing each other.
.......
I tore pieces of Card Stock and distressed them to make the waves and added some Dazzling Diamonds glitter in the waves for some sparkle and bling. I think the rest is pretty self explanatory.
This next card is called the Reflection Technique. You stamp the image on your card and color it however you want and then you stamp it again on Acetate, or Transparency paper and turn it upside down and push on the acetate to make the ink on the paper and the image looks like a Reflection of itself. You can do this technique like reflection on Water, or in a Mirror looking back at you. It is a fun one to play around with. I made 3 of these cards differently to see what I liked best. My favorite one is the top one which one do you like????
I also used the baby wipe technique on this card to make the waves. I wiped a baby wipe in my ink and then ran it across my paper lightly.
Here is the Darkest of the Cards above.
Last I stamped the Image on White Card stock and colored it in, and then popped that up from the paper to make it look like a 3-D whale.

The above card is not terribly Creative, but I wanted to let them learn the Water through a Window Technique. I took some Men's Hair Gel and added some blue food coloring (it does not take much) then I put some in small Jewelers Zip Lock bags and adhered that to the back of the window with glue dots. So when you look thru the punched out window you can see a fish swimming behind the water. There is also bubbles in Hair Gel so that works well with "The Water Look". This is also the same fish as above the clown fish just colored differently each time. The set we used for all these Cards is SU retired set Silly Sea Life.

.......

Well I hope you enjoy all of these Fishy Cards.

.......

Have a Stampendous Day and let me know what you think!!!

My First Attempt at Sewing since 7th Grade. A New Card of the Month Club along with some Cool Blog Candy!!!!

My First Card with Sewing on it!!!
Hello Everyone!!!
.......
How are you? Well I am worn out. I had the stomach flu last night and have been low on energy and achy all day, but I feel so much better than I did all through the night!!!
.......
Oh read below for some cool blog candy with a link, and a neat new Card of the Month Club too!!!
.......
I made this card tonight though along with getting started on some other cards that are time sensitive to when I can share them. So I can share this one now. This one is one of Pipers Stamps so she thinks the card should be for her, but it is actually a Thank you card for another stamper who recently sent me some Card Stock so I could play around to see what I like best!!!
.......
.......
I colored her in, and then felt there was way too much Yellow in the image, so I thought well if I do most of the rest of the card in lavender then maybe it will tone down all the yellow. I probably should have colored her Apron in Lavender with a Yellow pocket, but I did the apron before her hair so it did not seem like to much yellow at the time.
.......

I love these Sarah Kay images she does such cute drawings for her stamps!!!!
This little sweet heart reminds me so much of My little blonde's girls playing with their Dolls. As Piper just got a baby she can feed "real" doll food and she pees and poops in her diaper this image really fits them right now!!!! LOL

.......

So I colored her in and experimented for the first time with outlining my image with gray for the depth and shadow effect. I thought it was fun to do. Then I got out my new little sewing Machine. I got it at Jo Ann's last week it was 50% off so less than $20 It is supposed to sew anything from silk to Denim.
.......
Now I have not sewn anything on a machine since 7th Grade. I really did not even know how to thread the machine, and when it was sewing with out putting any thread through the image I had to call my good friend/next door neighbor/SU down line/Fellow Dazzling Diamonds Designs Member Tasha to help me figure out what was wrong. She walked me through it on the phone, and I got it working right.
.......
What did I learn from this???? When you have not sewn since 7th grade and have no idea what you are doing. Do Not attempt to sew on an already assembled card the first time you sew!!!!! LOL LOL!!!
.......
So I ended up pulling apart my card and sewing again on this one. However my sewing is still not totally straight or perfect, but it sort of fits because she is a patch work kind of image, so uneven sewing is sort of fitting!!!!

.......

So I mounted her on Lavender CS. That layer is poped up from the other layers with excess foam and rubber from my stamps, and then mounted that on a Lavender Flowered DSP layer I got some Yellow eyelets and put them on the lavender floral DSP layer. At first I was going to put them in the 4 corners and then I thought why not switch things up and put them in the middle of each side of the image. That layer is glued onto the Lavender layer with the sewing. The sewing layer is on a Yellow swirled DSP layer, and lastly a Regal Rose CS back.

.......

I got out some of my pretty Polka Dot gross grain ribbon and added some for some texture.

I don't Wanna, But I Gotta!!! A Story I do not really want to share!!! My Journey towards a Goal!!!

The Next two posts are the same post, but the 1st one was not formatting the way I needed it to, and so I re-did it, but I did not want to delete it because I already had two encouraging comments so I am leaving it.!!!! LOL!!!
Hi All,
Well, I know that the beginning of the year everyone always has those Pesky Resolutions. I have never made any before, but this year I am going to.
One in particular is nagging and nagging at me it is something that is always at the back of my mind and controls almost everything I do these days. I have to loose some weight. Here is my Story.
I have an 18 month old son, and I had just turned 32 when I had him. With both the girls I lost the weight 60 plus pounds with Piper at 27 yrs old, and about 40 pounds with Willow at 29 years old. Both times I lost the weight relatively easy with Breast feeding for some reason Breast Feeding for me calculates into loosing 70 pounds (I know that is nothing to complain about).
I have lost the 70 pounds all three pregnancy's.
But there is more to the story this time around.
With Piper that 70 pounds with Breast Feeding, was just right and got me to pre-pregnancy when she was between 6 and 8 months old.
With Willow I had lost the 40 pounds by the time she was 10 weeks old, and another 30 after that and it was way too much I got to looking awful too skinny actually. At the time I did not attribute it to breast feeding, we thought something was really wrong with my health I kept loosing weight and loosing weight, but looking back now I know that was what it was because not long after I got done breast feeding I started gaining the extra 30 pounds back pretty quickly. I gained the full extra 30 lbs back. Part of the reason I only gained 40 lbs with Willow was because I was so cautious after gaining so much with Piper that I walked on my treadmill every day and I would not eat ice cream when everyone else did and I did not give into many of those cravings I had. I did not want to gain almost 70 lbs again! Then it all came off so easy and so fast with Willow.
So when I was pregnant with Tucker I did not watch things as closely or walk on my treadmill much at all because I remembered how easy it was with Willow.
Well with Willow I was still in my 20's and with Tucker I was in my 30's big difference!!!
The Beginning of the Problem:
After Tucker it took me a year to get back to my Pre-Pregnancy weight. I was so happy when I finally hit it, that I just allowed myself to keep eating, and eating all the sweets and candy I wanted! I was rewarding myself for finally getting to that pre-pregnancy weight.
Two problems at this point.
1. Right before I got pregnant with Tucker I gained 10 lbs. So even when I got down to that pre-pregnancy weight I actually was still 10 pounds more than I wanted or needed to be. 2. When I celebrated and ate whatever I wanted I quickly put back on another 10 pounds and since then another 5 to 8 more depending on the day and time.
So now I range between 15 and 18 pounds more than that pre-pregnancy weight and in all actuality between 25 and 28 lbs more than where I need to be. I am mad at myself because I hit that pre preg weight and I let myself get back to where I am now!!!! With the girls I lost the weight early enough after having them that Breast Feeding helped me keep my lost wieght at a stable place for a while before I was done. This time it took me so long that once I finally lost the weight that extra boost from Breast Feeding was gone. I know I need to start exorcising, and get going, I just really do not want to!!!
Part of my Solution:
Well several Fellow Stampers out there are kicking their behinds into gear and just doing it. Including Kimmie from - Crafting for Sanity blog, Jami from - Stamp Happy Blog, and Sarah from - Scrappin Mama Blog. They are trying to build up support teams to make us all accountable and keep us encouraged and motivated.
So I am going to jump on this band Wagon even though I really do not want to!!! I need to, and I feel horrible about myself and the way I see myself in the mirror, and in my clothes and this is just going to have to be my time to get moving!!! Part of the problem is with the 3 little ones my energy is drained most days and finding the time is just really hard for me. I can barely find the time to keep up with the things I need to, and the stamping I have now found important to my Sanity, so trying to make the time for Exorcise will not be easy!!!
We want one more baby, I have always wanted 4 kids!!! I refuse to get pregnant before I have lost at least the first 15 pounds or it will be that much harder next time, and I have found that once you hit that 30 year mark it is just so much harder to loose weight!!!! So I am 33 if I want to be done at 35 I have to loose the weight and have that baby!!!!! LOL
Most of us read or have read Lauren Meader's Blog and she has done it as well she has lost a lot of weight. Lauren is a little bit lucky though because she is 5' 11" and she can weigh a lot more than my 5' 5" frame can hold comfortably!!!! She has worked hard though and is feeling pretty good right now. So I know I can do it too, I just have to get started.
So tomorrow I am going to do it. I am going to force myself to find the time to exorcise and eat less sweets, and get started on making myself feel better about myself and make me want to get dressed up and go places and not feel horrible about myself when I do.
So there is my story as much as I do not want to own up to it I am, and I am going to let these lovely stampers keep me motivated until I reach my goal!!!
I have added a Weight Loss Ticker to my side Bar along with the Link to Kimmie's I'm a Diamond in the Rough Stampers Support group!
Are you where I am???? Maybe you want to join us too??? It will not be easy and I am already a week behind them, but I am starting now!!!!
Ha now it is out, and I have to get going! I feel better already!!! That was a Hard story to put out there because once I say it and write it down I am forced to do something about it!!! So far only my two good friends and SU down lines and my best friend in Colorado know my story. So it was easier to commiserate with them then to actually do somthing about it!!!!
Wish Me Luck!!! Have a Stampendous Night.

Hi All,
.......
Well today was My Day I guess!
I have been watching two things on my blog the last couple of days. My Hit Counter, and My Stamping top 500 Number.
.......
Well some time today my Hit Counter went over 10,000 Hits, and my Stamping Top 500 Number went down to 421. When I first started my Number was 936 so today I officially went below the 500 number drop (936 - 436).
.......
So this is exciting to me, and I just wanted to say thank you to all of you you support my blog. I know there must be several of you who I have no idea who you are, without comments, but Thank You! And to those who leave such sweet comments and keep me going a really
big Huge Humongous Thank You!!!!
.......
I love getting to know all of you, and I have really met some great stamping friends, I totally enjoy creating and sharing, and meeting new people and it has all enriched my life immensely!!!
I know I should be celebrating this with some Blog Candy, but as I am just getting my last Blog Candy mailed out this week I think I will wait until 12,000 hits and Celebrate Big!!!
It is fun to share my designs, and tutorials with you, and I really love seeing all of your lovely creations and projects too!!!!
.......
THANK YOU for Your Loyalty, DEDICATION and
KINDNESS!!!!

A Birthday Card - Using Madelynn's Twinkling Tuesdays Sketch

Happy Fruity Birthday to You
Hello!
Well I made this card finally for Madelynn's Twinkling Tuesday's Sketch and I feel awful that it took me 3 days to get it done, but as I said before 2 other cards I started to make for Madelynn's Sketch ended up morphing into something else so this one from the start had no other option but to be for the Sketch!!! LOL
Above is the Sketch, You have probably heard me talk about it before, but Madelynn, is an 8 year old little girl and this is her 4th Sketch Challenge. She even has her own Group over on Paper Craft Planet now so cool. I think it is fun to do something inspired by the creativity of children so this will be a sketch I want to do every week! I have had this cute fruit set for a long time now and it has never seen ink, so today was it's Debut in my Stamp room!

Above is the full Card.

I used SU Card stock in Real Red, Only Orange, Green Galore, Yo Yo Yellow, and Whisper White. I used my SU Markers in the Above Colors and added on Glorious Green, and Close to Co Co for the Fruit stems and greens. That little Orange Slice can be used for an orange, lemon, or lime as you can see two of them above. The Stamp set is a current SU set Tart and Tangy. What I do find disappointing is the fact that my very bright sparkly glitter strips look very dull and not sparkly. :-( I did Split Coast Stampers Monday Technique Challenge to take your Sticky Strip and put it on paper and make Glitter Stripes on your paper. It is a very cool technique and the cards in the gallery sparkled and shined (not a word?) so cool! I think part of the reason my colors do not stand out so much is the photo takes something away from it, but also the green makes the bright Orange glitter, and bright Yellow glitter more subdued in color.

Here is my Sentiment I hand wrote it onto a stamped lemon slice.

Each Fruit stamp and the orange layer and the sentiment are all popped up from the other layers. I took my kitchen knife and distressed the edge of the Orange Layer and the yellow layer and I cuttled the Green layer with my dots and circles CB folder and my big shot. I really should by one of those distressing tools but those kitchen knifes really come in handy!!!
Well I guess that is all for today I hope you enjoy the Bright Card it is much brighter in person even!!! Great for Birthday Greetings I guess!
Have a Great Night!

Pipers Snowman Project

Piper and her Snowman Project
Hi There,
I have a very quick post. I just had to share the project I helped Piper with tonight.
.......
They were given these White and Black Snowmen from school and they were supposed to Create a hat, any kind of hat for their snowman and then write a story about the hat they made on the snowman body.
.......
Then they were supposed to color the snowman, and cut the snowman out.
.......
Piper made her snowman look like this.
Here is the Full Snowman Cut Colored and Decorated with a Story. I got out 8 Colors of Shimmerz for her to paint the snowman face, nose, scarf, and gloves. Then we got out some of my New Felt Snowflakes from Stampin Up Mini Catalog, and some Fire and Ice Rhinestone brads from SU as well. We drew the hat free hand and then cut it out. Piper wanted to draw snowflakes all over the hat so she drew her own snowflakes with a pencil on the hat. Then I let her use my Crop-a-Dile and I helped her attach the brads to the snowflakes and then the snowflakes to the hat and snowman. We put some glue dots behind the snowflakes and the hat on the snowman to help them stay on better and then she wrote her story.
Here is a close up of the Snowman's Face.

I think you can read the Story O.K. without me typing it out, but I thought she did a super job with it. It was so much fun helping her do this and seeing her creativity and excitement to use all my Stamping supplies. She loved the Shimmerz paints and you can imagine how he shines and glitters if you have used those shimmerz!!!

Here is Piper with her Snowman. She has a black eye right now because while she was playing with her best friend Grace from next door today Piper got to close to Grace on the Swing set and got whacked pretty bad in the head. She cried for a long time on that one!!! She has quite the goose egg on her cheek and eye.

Willow really really wanted to be in the picture too so I took one with both of them with the snowman.

O.K. Piper wanted to get on the floor and do Snow Angels with her Snowman in a picture so this is a close up of Piper doing a Snow Angel with her Snowman.

.......

I hope you enjoy Piper and her Snowman. We really had fun together making him!!!!

.......

Have a Stampendous Night!!!!

Your Fabulous! So Pamper Yourself!

Absolutely Fabulous!!!
.......
Good Morning, Guten Morgen, Hi and Hello!
.......
Well I actually made this card a few days ago, but I am just now getting it posted. I have promised myself to use my SU Sets more because I have so many of them and Hey I am a Stampin Up Demo so I should use them more!!! LOL. Well plus there is the fact that I love love love all my SU stuff and could not do without it!!! Oh also this is my 2nd post today so read below I gave some amazing stampers some well deserved awards and it will give you links to some wonderful eye candy sites!!!!
.......
So this card started out to be for Madelynn's Twinkling Tuesdays Sketch Challenge, but then it morphed into something totally away from the Sketch so that is why I do not have that sketch done yet!!!! Here is the full Card.
.......
I took my Scallop Rectangle Nesties and my Big Shot machine and cut out the Backing behind the Lady of Luxury in the tub. Then I cut out two more nesties with my Lable #1 set for the bottles of Pampering stuff. I say stuff because I never have the time or take the time to pamper myself so I am not sure what Pampering stuff is!!! LOL. I cut those nestie dies with my favorite shimmery silver paper. I then punched out all the circles with my 1 1/4", 3/4" and 1/2" SU circle punches.
.......
I wanted the Bubbles to be very shimmery and glittery so I painted them with my Angel Wings Shimmerz and December Sky Blingz They shimmer till there is no tomorrow!!!
.......
Card Recipe:
SU Cardstock in Pacific Point, Whisper White, and Soft Sky
SU Inks in Tempting Turquoise, and Brilliant Blue. Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
Copics used to color this image are:
SU stamp set Absolutely Fabulous (Retired)
Accessories: Big Shot Nesties Scallop Rectangle, and Lable #1, SU Punches listed above, and some Turquoise Sheer Shimmery Organza Ribbon from HL.
.......
Here is a close up of the lovely lady in the tub. I stamped and colored her and the background and then I cut her off her background then glued the background down and popped up the lady in the tub from the background with excess rubber and foam from my stamps.
........
I wanted at least one picture that really show cased the Shimmerz on the Bubbles and this one shows that pretty good. Glitter and Shimmerz is so hard to capture in a photo for some reason even after playing around with it in Photoshop.
.......
O.K. here is the last view to the side. I hope you enjoy this card I have absolutely no idea who it is for yet, but it was fun to make!!!
.......
Have a Stampendous Monday and Hopefully I will be back with that Sketch Card later, but I have said that several days and then not made it back so who knows!!!! LOL!

Some Awards I am Proud to Share! 16 Stampers I get to honor with awards as well!!!! Yea!!!!

Well Hello Everyone!,
I have been talking about this for a while and I just needed to take the time to get it done. I have received 4 awards that I am so honored that Tanya, Kristin, Regina, and Heather (Hev) choose to give them to me!!!
It has taken me so long to get them on here and I am sorry ladies that does not mean that I was not excited to get them from you because I was! It just took me a while to have the time to choose all the wonderful ladies and totally creative stampers to pass the awards onto!!

The first award was from Tanay over at Tanya's Stamps N Things blog. Tanya was one of the first blogs I stumbled across when I first started blogging back in September a few months ago. I enjoy seeing Tanya's creations and her coloring. She is also a Stampin Up Demonstrator so I enjoy seeing her SU creations to inspire me!!!
I get to choose 10 people to bestow this award on. Wow it is hard to pick I have met and seen so many incredibly talented Stampers and Bloggers out there!! So I am going to pick some of my old favorites and some of my brand new favorites!!! But all these are very talented and very kind ladies!!!!
Kristin is a soldier in the Air Force stationed and working in the Health Care Field in Alexandria Virginia. I really enjoy Kristin, and like Tanya she was in those first 3 blogs I found right off the bat. Kristin is a very kind and sweet friend, and I really enjoy her blog. I will never forget how the very first time I went to Kristin's blog I saw her hit counter and it was 137. I was so excited to find another new blogger like me!!! Kristin is also an SU Demo, and she challenges me to get back to my first passion my SU sets!!!!! I have over 200 of them most I have earned for free or bought with my SU earnings, and I need to use them more after all that is all I used before I started blogging and seeing all the amazing talent out there!!!!
Danni started following my blog and I knew I had seen her picture on lots of sweet comments out there so I started popping by her blog. I loved her creations she gets several done a day and I am jealous!!!! Danni is a Military wife and Mom, and a very talented stamper as well. Danni recently added me to her Featured Stamper Team for her Flutter By Wednesdays and I am honored and excited to get to go along for the ride, at least for January anyway!!! So of course Danni needed the Butterfly award!!!
I am not sure if Jessica already has this award, but I recently found her blog and it has become one of my daily fix's in my blog time. She make the most wonderful cards and creations I just love seeing what she has in store for me every day!!!! I am sort of mad at Jessica because she has enabled me to find Paper Pretties, The Greeting Farm, and The little Paper Shop all of which have some major addiction helpers that I am sure I can not live without!!!! LOL!!!!! No I love Jessica's blog her kind comments on my blog, and her Daughter Madelynn's Twinkling Tuesdays Sketch Challenge. If you have not tried it out you have to it is fun!!!
Heather may have this award already she has almost every one I have ever seen, but I enjoy her blog and would you people believe that she went through all her comments for 2008 and linked us all (linked imagine how many hours that took!!!!) and thanked us for supporting her blog. That task in itself is totally amazing!!!!!! Heather has some very cute projects and I enjoy reading her posts!!! She has left me some of my favorite comments on my blog because a few of them were on non stamping posts and that meant a lot to me that she cared enough to read it and comment!!!!
Alicia and I have recently begun communicating, but I enjoy talking to her, I love that she really talks to you, in real e-mails Yea!!!!. This lady is incredibly busy. She is a wonderful stamper, and scrapbooker, a talented blogger, a Mommy to Ethan and Ava, and Ethan her 4 year old son has Cancer and his story is so uplifting. I know that uplifting sounds weird to say about cancer, but he is doing so well, he has had set backs, but he is a Happy Energetic very cute little boy and I have enjoyed hearing his story and seeing his wonderful progress, It really makes you remember God has a purpose and reason for everything no matter how hard that can be for us to see at the time!!! I have been reading Alicia's blog since September also as she is on Lauren Meaders Saturday Sketch team and I would always pop over to see her work. Alicia is also an SU Demo and has a Monthly Stampers club like I do, and to top it all off she is an Engineer 2 days a week to boot! Amazing Lady and a wonderful stamper. I love her blog!!!
I have been enjoying Kimmi's blog lately as I found her because she is on a few design teams with my friends Jami Bova, and Janna Hull, and also with Danni, and Jessica (mentioned earlier). Kimmie is also on Danni's Featured stamper team with me and I enjoy her bold use of colors and creativity with embellishments, she makes some lovely cards and I am enjoying getting to know her blog!!!
Vicki is one of the new members of the Pink Cat Studio DT that I get to play along with later this year as a guest DT. Vicki is a certified Copic girl and she is amazing with Coloring!!! Vicki is very creative, she leaves the sweetest comments and I enjoy seeing her work!!!!! Vicki is on several DT's and she deserves it her creativity is always so great to see, and she has a wide variety of styles I enjoy!!!
Tasha is the good friend/SU Downline/next door neighbor (you always hear about) that bails me out of many tuff situations and helps keep me slightly insane with new SU ideas at times!!! I am lucky to have Tasha in my life and I enjoy her posts and cards on her blog. Tasha is a Martha Stewart!!! She is talented in all the realms, floral, food creativity and preparation, stamping, decorating, designing and much more!!!!
Emily is another SU Down line and good friend. Emily holds a very dear place in my heart. I met her at the very first SU workshop I did and she was not even some one I invited, but some one I invited could not come invited her MIL and she invited Emily!!!!! Funny Funny story, but 2 years later Emily is one of my best best friends and a very close confidant an fellow stamper and blogger. Emily works full time in Oncology as a RN OCN and so she does not get to blog to often, but I always enjoy seeing her inventive creations when she does. Emily is talented in many crafting areas not just stamping, but Stamping is a favorite of hers!!! I love having Emily as a friend and fellow stamp addict, and helper with everything SU!!!!
Regina is in Germany, and I have so enjoyed getting to know her. She is a very caring kind lady and I know it is hard at times with the language barrier, (thank God she speaks English cause all I know in German is Guten Morgen!!! However I have a huge amount of German in me!!!!!!! My Grandpa was born there and then immigrated here when he was 3 yrs old. Regina comes up with projects that are just so cute and creative and have a very different flare to them a German flare I guess I would say, but I just enjoy them and her so much!!!!
I received this next award first from Kristin, and then from Heather Hev I love love love this award!!!! I am choosing to give this award to 5 ladies who I met solely through the blogging/stamping world and I know a few of them already received this award, but I have been planning on giving it to them for a while already so if I would have gotten my behind in gear they would have gotten it from me first!!!! LOL. I also choose these particular women because they are all ladies I have gotten to be friends with as well!
Jami had just 7 followers when I started following her blog and now she is up to close to 80 followers. Jami started coming to my blog every day and leaving wonderful encouraging comments every post I posted. This was back when I did not get very many comments and that meant and still means the world to me!!! Jami is Mega Super Talented, and she outdoes herself every time she makes a new card!!! Jami is one awesome stamper, and person in general and I love her for who she is!!!!!
Janna is a true friend. I have had the opportunity to talk to her on the phone twice now the first time for over 3 hours. I love Janna's creations and there are many of them 2 to 4 a day and she is just so super creative!!!! Janna is the Queen of Sketches a title Jessica gave her and she deserves, and she does amazing things with those sketches too!!!! Janna is a real sweet heart and I totally love her long comments that really mean so much to me because she really reads every word, and remembers to address it all in her comment!!! Janna is also super talented!!!!
Yep I already gave Jessica one award, but I had to give her this one because I really do think her blog is Fabulous, and she is quickly becoming a friend as well with her kind comments and friendly nature. She is one of those people whose blogs I just knew I would fall in love with from the first time I went there!!!! Thank You Jessica you are awesome!!!

Melissa is the owner of Pink Cat Studio, and I know she probably can not display an award on a business blog, but I have gotten to be friends with Melissa and she is such a wonderful person to talk to. I love Pink Cat Studio Stamps and I love dealing with Melissa on both a personal note, and as a Stamp Company too!!! Melissa is a very talented artist in both real art and stamp design!!! Sarah is a very talented Sweet girl. She makes some very creative and talented Creations, and I really enjoy her cards and scrapbook pages. Sarah is also a new member for the Pink Cat Studio DT. Sarah recently mailed me some White Card Stock just so I could practice using my new copics and stamps on it. How Awesome is that???? Thank you so much Sarah and I enjoy your blog!!!
Ashley does the weekly Etsy Challenge that I love seeing, and I am going to get to play along in it one of these weeks!!! Ashley makes these wonderful Photo Collages that remind me so much of the Photo Collages I make, and she is a talented Photographer as well!!!!
I have to give this award to both 3. Emily and 4. Tasha my in town stamping friends because they both love stamps and I love having them as Fellow Dazzling Diamonds Designs Members, and as SU Down Lines and I love talking to them, and working with them they are awesome ladies!!!!

Danni is offering up some Blog Candy for those who play along in the Flutter By Wednesday Challenge this week so be sure to head to her blog to check it out!!!

Now with no further adu I will share the two cards I created for our very first Flutter By Wednesday Featured Stamper Challenge!!!

Here is my Card above. I got this single butterfly SU set at a Garage Sale and had been itching to Ink it Up. My 6 year old, Daughter Piper's favorite Color is Purple so I choose to use shades of purple for this first card. I made it while Piper was away spending time at Grandma's so I told her on the phone I had made her a card because I was missing her!!! I gave it to her when she got back home on Sunday!!!!
Here are the Details for this Card:
I Stamped it in Whisper White Craft Ink, and then Embossed it in Deep Eggplant shiny Purple Embossing Powder.
I then colored the image in 8 different shades of Pink, Lavender, and Purple. I used my shimmerz paints in Burgundy, Royal Purple, Lilac, and Angel Wings to paint some of the sections of the wings to add some bling to the butterfly. I cut several different shades of Purple out and die cut them using my Scallop Circle Nestie, and then I took a Whisper White piece of CS embossed it with the CB De vine' Swirls Embossing Folder and then Distressed it in Elegant Eggplant, Lovely Lilac, Orchid Opulence, and Lavender Lace inks.
I took some Burgundy/Bright Purple Sheer Organza Ribbon and tied a knot in it and then pulled it through a punched hole in each corner of the card and then took scissors and cut it in strips to give it the Pom Pom look.

I took this view so you could hopefully see the sections of the Butterfly's wings I painted with Shimmerz and how glittery, and shimmery it made the Butter Fly. I am not sure how well it is showing up, but I did the sections on the very tips of the wings the darkest sections I painted with Royal Purple Shimmerz, and some of the lighter purple sections I painted with Lilac Shimmerz, and the Pink Sections I painted with Burgundy Shimmerz.

The 8 Copics I used to color in this image were:

RV00, RV02, RV08

Voo, Vo2, Vo6

BV00, BV02, BV08

I took this picture just to show you how each section Pops out using excess rubber and foam from cutting my SU stamps. I hope you enjoy this card Piper loved it and I was pleased how the end result turned out!!!!

Now for my 2nd Card for the Flutter By Challenge (I am not sure I will get two cards done each week, but for the first week I wanted to share 2 cards!)

I took Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze, Sahara Sand, and Kiwi Kiss Card Stock to make this card. I used my Scallop Edge SU punch to do the Scalloped edge, I used my tearing edge tool to do the tearing, I used SU Set Kind Thoughts (which is retiring and 10% off through Jan 18th by the way). I used Not Quite Navy, Old Olive, and Whisper White Ink for the stamps. I used the big image from Kind Thoughts for the middle of the card, and then stamped that flower from the set all around the big hallow flourish stamp. I also added some Hemp Twine. The Flutter By pops out with Stampin Dimensionals as well.

The Best Part of this card is below. The card is a Spring Card. Spring as in it springs open and shut using the techniques below.

I took my 1 3/8" SU Circle punch and took my scissors and started cutting a small rim in circles around the punched out circle I did it all the way into the middle and when you stretch it out you get this spring I attach one end of the spring to the Flutter By, and one end to the card. I did this for two of the Flutter By's and then added the other two Flutter By's just for the effect of it. I stamped the Flutter By's in Baja Breeze with that ink, and Old Olive with that ink. Here is a closer look at the springs and how they are attached to the Flutter By's. After I made this card I actually saw one similar to it in Barns and Nobel believe it or not. I wanted to kick myself because I wished I had my camera to take a picture of the one I saw in the book store to compare it to the one I had just made days before!!!!
Well I will leave you with two last looks at my Flutter By Creations for this week. I hope you decide to play along too and show us some of your wonderful creativity with a Flutter By Card!!!! Do not forget to go to Danni's Dreams to see what she has for you today, and hop by all the other stampers blogs on the Featured Stamper Team to see the amazing Flutter By Projects they have to share with you too!!!!!
Have a Stampendous Wednesday and I really do have 2 more cards done and ready to share with you later today. I was going to post one of them yesterday (Tuesday, but the day just got away from me and I did not have the time to post the card I made that morning!!!) One is for Madelynn's Twinkling Tuesday Sketch Challenge which Danni is also a member of.
Enjoy the cards and let us know what you think!!!!

Willow in the Rain - A Whiff of Joy Stampation

Willow in the Rain

Happy Happy Monday Everyone!

Well Christmas Break is over and I can not say I am too glad. I really enjoy having my kiddo's home and getting to play and have fun together! I wish I could keep them all small and young forever, they are all growing up so fast!!! My Baby Tucker is now 18 months old and after having him at the farm for 4 days he came back seeming much less of a baby to me than when he left!!! Tears! His speech has exploded since he got home he has a word for lots of things now and before he left he was not really doing that if I say truck he says truck, and if I say lets go get Willow from School he says Go Widow.

Now his sisters were talking in Paragraphs by his age and Willow knew all her colors shapes, and about every word in the English language by his age so this should not surprise me, but he has talked so much slower than his big Sissy's that it is weird to have him spouting out words like he is since we got him back from Grandma and Poppy last night!!!

So Here is my Card to share with you today. My colors are not quite showing up how they really are. I used SU Pink Pirouette, Passion Pink, Going Gray and Whisper White Card Stock. I borrowed Willow's Willow in the Rain stamp she got for Christmas. (Stamp from Whiff of Joy)

I cuttled the Gray piece of Card stock with the CB embossing folder and my Big Shot. I cut out the largest and next largest Lable #1 Nesties and embossed the edges of them with the Big Shot and the Nesties. I Stamped Willow in Black Momento Ink and colored her with these Copis:

Copics I used to Color this Image:

Grays: C3, C5, C7

Rain: B00, Bo2

Pinks: RV00, RV04, RV09

Hair: Yoo, Yo2, Yo6, Yo8

Skin: E00, Roo, E51, E95

I colored the image first and decided to go with Gray and Pink for the Outfit and then the rest of the card just kind of came together. I love these top note shaped Nesties and I had to use them but they were to small for Willow to stand on so I diagonalled (hmm not a word, but I like it!) them! :-) Oh my I just spell checked and guess what is a word diagonallized!!! Whoo Hooo another cool word to work into my stamping blog!!!!! LOL

This is my very favorite Ribbon, I am a Silver and Platinum kind of girl and I adore the color silver so I love this thick wired shimmery till there is no end Silver Ribbon. I have been buying it at Hobby Lobby, but last time I went they were out so I hope that does not mean they are not going to carry it anymore because I love love love it!!!

I am not sure what is up with the colors here they look like the image is really old and faded, but here is the long view of Willow and the Card Cropped. I cut out only the parts of the rain that were on the stamp and I still wanted the Umbrella and Willow to be show cased so I actually cut the rain out maybe a tad bit weird to keep Willow as the main image of the Card.

.......

I glued the Dark Gray textured CS nestie onto the Pink Nestie die cute, but I popped out the Pink Nestie die from the Gray Cuttled Background, and then I also popped Willow out from the Gray Nestie die with excess rubber and foam from my stamps.

Well I hope you enjoyed this card Willow sure liked it when I gave it to her. They let me use their stamps I buy them I just have to make them some of my cards to keep! LOL They are always asking me to make them cards have been for 2 years and I always said I will make another one later for you, but 8 times out of 10 that later never came so I am getting better about making them cards to keep now!!! They love them, and it makes them feel loved to get them so what could be better than being loved by your little girls, and giving love back????

I am working on the SCS Technique lovers challenge now so I will probably have a 2nd Post today!

See you soon!! Have a Very Stampendous Monday!!!!!

The Kids Christmas Program Pictures 2008

Our Sweet Willow Angel
The Kids Christmas Program at Church "Jingle Jam"
O.K. O.K. I am sorry I have been meaning forever to get these pic
Here is Piper Walking onto the Stage Above She is the last kid on the left of the picture walking up the stage, to get into place.
You can see Piper in the middle the Microphone is just to the right of her she had her hands in her pockets. Here is Willow Walking onto the Stage. Willow's group got brought onto the stage twice during the Program. The Program was made to be like a play of people practicing for a Program, so the whole performance was done like they were practicing to perform a program. So they brought the little kids out like they were practicing to be in a Nativity scene. I hope that makes sense it might be hard to grasp if you were not there. Willow being let to the Manger. The other little Angel is my good friend Natalie's little girl Emma. Emma and Willow are good friends and go to Pre-School together. To Willow's left (your right) is Skylar playing Mary. Skylar is Willow's other good friend in Pre-School. To Willow's right (your left) is Luke he has Downs Syndrome and he is actually Piper's Age but Willow's size, Luke played Joseph in the Nativity scene. He is soooo cute!!! In the Above Picture Willow had just spotted me taking pictures and she smiled for her picture. Here is Piper coming of the stage. She went up and down a couple of times since they were pretending to be practicing for a program in the program.
Here is Willow the 2nd time they came out.
The Little Pre-School kids sitting on the stage. Willow and Emma looked so happy!!!
Piper Singing in the Program she is about in the middle of the picture again with Pig tails in her hair and red bows.
I snuck back to Willow's Class Room between the two times they were on stage to get this picture. She was so Proud to be an Angel!!!
Willow and Emma showing me their Wings
I love this Picture of Willow and Emma hugging!!!!
The Happiest Angel you will ever see!!!!
I hope you enjoy the pictures I tried to add a variety I took a lot more, but I did not figure you needed to see a million pictures of Piper doing the same thing standing on the stage!!! Willow was sooooooo excited she got asked to be in the program because her school Christmas program had just been cancelled and she was jealous that Piper got to be in both a School Christmas Program and a Church Program.
.......
Our Church has DVD's of all it's services and since they did this program for the 2 morning services that day I got DVD's to give Grandma Nita, Grandma Schlatter, and Grandma Paula.
.......
The kids are at the farm until Sunday and Marvin and I are enjoying our Quiet house. We went out to dinner tonight and shopping for diapers and wipes for when Tucker gets back by ourselves and tomorrow we are going out to Dinner and a Movie, then Sunday after church we will drive to Salina Ks, to pick them up.
........
When I talked to them today they were having so much fun at Grandma's they had me laughing because they were laughing so hard in the background!!!
.......
I hope you enjoy the picks and have a Stampendous Day!!!!

Laundry = Job Security! I made 4 Cards Today :-) A Card for Lauren Meaders SS#17 Challenge.

Hello All,
Well I made 4 cards today. I know I am amazed to, but I only have 1 card to share tonight because 2 of the cards are for Wednesday's Featured Stamper Flutter By Challenge for Danni's Dreams, but it does feel good to have my projects for the Featured Stamper Team done already !!!! No last minute procrastinating on this one! :-)
The last of the 4 cards I made, I will share tomorrow. How did I get 4 Cards done you ask? Well all 3 Kiddo's are at the Farm (3 hrs away) with Grandma and Poppy Schlatter. I was not going to send Tucker, but then at the last moment I thought you know what I could really use a little break right now and I have so much stuff I want and need to get done so I sent all 3 kids to play with Grandma!!!
Let me tell you it has been so incredibly quiet at our house Going from 3 kids 6, 4, and 1 to no kids really changes the noise level that is for sure!!!! DH was home all day for the Holiday but we both mostly just relaxed he watched movies and I stamped!!! It was so nice. Not that I do not have a ton of laundry waiting for me to put it away, but I took the day off! Thus this Card.
Here is Laurens Sketch for this week LMSS17
Man am I glad the Holiday's are over this is the one sketch I promised myself I would play in every week and I have not been able to do many of them the last two months with the Holidays and all that goes along with that!
I made this card to send to a dear blogging friend who alerted me to this stamp to begin with. I loved the card she made with it! I loved the colors she used too, but since I am going to send this to her I had to make a really different card. I loved Lauren Meaders Saturday Sketch this week and I wanted to do that sketch so I combined it with the card I needed to make for my friend as well.

I colored the image last night using these Copics:

I know it shows up kind of sketchy with the coloring, but that is coming from the lighting and flash it is not really that way in person. I played around with the flick technique. I had not heard of it before until yesterday when Katie from Paper Make - Up talked about it. You flick the tip of one Marker across the tip of the other marker to get a color you do not have it worked great to get the darker brown I wanted for the moose. The Darkest Brown I have in Copics is Sepia and it is O.K. but I needed it darker for some of my shading so the flick technique really did what I wanted to achieve!!!

I was trying to decide which of my colors I wanted to play around with and I was going through the cards I had made lately to decide which of my new copics I had not used yet. I realized I have not really done anything with the Orange shades so that is how this Bright Card was born!!!

For CS colors I used SU Whisper White, Yo Yo Yellow bottom right piece, Summer Sun, top left piece, Tangerine Tango the orange die cut with the Scallop Circle Nestie, Pumpkin Pie the orange piece cut and embossed with the CB folder and corner rounded with the decorative corner rounder under the scallop Circles. The Card Base is Only Orange. So I used 3 different Oranges and 2 different Yellow's, and Whisper White.

The Ribbon is from HL it is a sheer orange Organza Ribbon I really like a lot it is so shimmery and pretty! I just realized I left of the two circle pieces in the lower right had corner of the sketch, but oh well to late now at least for the pictures they are already all edited, cropped, and on this post!!! Darn wish I had not forgotten to add that on the sketch!!!

Here is the 2nd half of the Hand written Sentiment. I was stumped for a Sentiment and I called my neighbor/good friend/SU Down line/fellow Dazzling Diamonds Designs member, Tasha and asked her what Sentiment would be good for a Too Much Laundry Card???? She came up with some idea's and then I made it what I thought went with the card. She came up with the Job Security part as we are both Stamp at Home Mom's!!!! LOL I just saw that expression for the first time yesterday! It fits since we are both SU Demo's and Stay at Home Mom's for the most part!!! (I did get up to the Hospital on New Years Eve and finish up those in service hours I needed to, to stay on the Call In list and I signed up for call through February 25th so we will see from there what I end up doing. I have not been called in, in over 12 weeks not sure I would remember how to do my job if and when I do get called in again!!!! LOL.

Here is another closer view of Riley that also shows you more of the Sketch. I Cuttle Bug Embossed with the Swiss Dots, Circles and Blooms, and Circles CB embossing folders and my Big Shot. I corner rounded the two Yellow shades of CS pieces with the SU ticket punch, and I did the Pumpkin Pie piece with my favorite elegant Corner Rounder. The Orange Scallop Circle and the Orange cuttled piece are popped out using excess rubber the two yellow pieces are glued down, and the white Scallop Circle is glued down. I used two glue dots holding the Ribbon in place where I want the ends. I had wrote the whole Sentiment.

Above is one last Side view kind of shows you how it is popped out. I hope you enjoy the card I had fun making it that is for sure, I loved all the bright Colors!!!

Have you ever noticed that I use almost any colors and I do not really have a personal style?? I like to try new things and change things up a lot instead of sticking to one shade of colors and one style I like simple and elegant, to fresh and fun, to unique and funky styles I will try anything that looks like a learning or fun experience!!!

Well let me know what you think I will post my Willow in the Rain Card tomorrow. I can not wait to share my Flutter By Cards I worked so hard on later this week!!!!

Have a Stampendous Day and I hope you can stamp this weekend!!!!!
