Ann...Cassie...Chris...Christine...Harriet...Heather (me)...Jodi...Kristie...Lelia...Michelle...Nancy...Nicola...Stef...Pam...Karen...Kris...Taylor...Kimberly

So below is the Inspiration that sweet 9 year old Madelynn gave us to make a creation with!!!  I took it literally and used all the colors in the plate, Pumpkin Pie, Pixie Pink, Perfect Plum Old Olive, and Brocade Blue, and Whisper White in SU! Card Stocks I also like the swirls on the plate so you can see below the colors I made my swirls on the inspiration piece.

Here is my Creation!!!!!

I used my Scallop Circle Nestie and cut it out 3 times for the Pink, Green, and White layers and I traced it on The Puple, Blue, and Green layers then cut it out.  I used my SU! CB folder and ebossed the swirls on the white with that then I took Ink pads in these colors and distressed the swirls too!!!!

I had to use this image because Marie at The Greeting Farm made this Madelynn stamp after Jess's Daughter Madelynn and she is the one that issued us this inspiration and so this is a Madelynn card for Madelynn!!!!

I colored her in these copics:
Coat:V00, V12, V04, V17, G24, G85, G94
Shoes: C3, C5, C7, B100
Scarf: Y00, Y61, Y65, Y68
Socks: B02
Hat: B21, B24, B26, B02
Flower: RV00, RV02, RV06
Hair: E33, E35, E29
Skin: R00, E00, E95, RV21

Here is a side view I popped some of the Scalloped circle layers and not others.  Madelynn is popped up twice and the Butterfly is punched MS and then cut down to size with scisors.

Well off to bed lots to do tomorrow we got about 4 inces today but it does not look like we are canceling school tomorrow which is a bummer to me I wish I did not have to drive Willow across town and back again!!!

Have a Very Stampendous Wednesday!!!

The Rusty Pickle is sponsoring Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge - Puppy Love - My DT Sample

Puppy Love and a Sketch

Happy Tuesday Friends, Family, and Stampers!!!!
Today is a fun day because our Rusty Pickle Store is Sponsoring The Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge. Most of the girls on The Rusty Pickle DT decided it would be fun to participate in the Challenge with the Tuesday Morning Sketch DT.
So Melissa the creator of The Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge sent us all the sketch so we could participate today. This sketch was a fun sketch and the DT creations I have seen so far are awesome!!!!
So Here is a list of The Rusty Pickle DT, and The Tuesday Morning Sketch Team as well. If you have some time head on over to the Challenge Blog and see what all the DT for the Sketch Challenge came up with today!!!! Also head on out to the Rusty Girls and let them know how wonderful their creations all are today I loved seeing them as they started posting their sketch challenge DT samples!!!!

Michelle - Rusty Pickle Owner and Illustrator

Design Team
and
Jacquie  - (Not participating in the Sketch Challenge today)

Tuesday Morning Sketches DT:

So Here is the Cool Sketch for this week over at the Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge Blog.

I took the Sketch and flipped it so the big half circle is on the bottom and the Sentiment I moved to the other end of the card.

For this card I got out SU! Card Stock in Old Olive and I used 3 different patterned papers from Die Cuts With a View Paper Pack.  I printed and colored my image up on NeeNah Card Stock.

I got out some green Dew Drops to add as the round things on the half circle, on the sketch.  I also cut my shapes for the Image matte and the sentiment out with Labels 5 Nestibilities.

Above is the Cute Image and one of my favorites from The Rusty Pickle Digital Images!!!!
I colored up the image with these colors of Copics:

E30, E31, E33, E35, E29

Here is the Side View of my card so you can see the dimension on the card.  I popped up the half Circle part of the sketch using just the rubber layer of stamps, and the Nestie layer is double popped up with the foam and rubber layer, and the Puppies are popped up another two thicknesses using Foam and Stampin Dimensionals to pop it up.  I hand wrote the sentiment.

Well we are getting snow as we speak and it is our first snow of the winter here.  They say we could get as much as 8 to 10 inches so I am not looking forward to that at all.

So far no school closings here, but there are closings all over the state already as the part of Kansas my Hubby is from is expecting 15 inches and they already had a couple inches of snow on the ground from Sunday!!!!

Well I must go now and  write up a post on the Rusty Pickle Store/Blog about sponsoring this fun Sketch Challenge!!!!

Be back tomorrow for Flutter By Wednesday and Whimsical Wednesday - "The Diedrich Dare" Challenge DT samples and I love one of the cards to pieces Madelynn gave us a very fun challenge for this week!!!!

Have a very Stampendous Tuesday All!!!!!!

Michelle - Rusty Pickle Owner and Illustrator

Design Team
and

So here is my Creation for today.  It is a Christmas or Friendship or Even Valentines Day Card lots of Red, White, and Cream in the card with a slight amount of black and gray too.  I used SU! Card Stocks in Whisper White, Real Red, and two DSP's from older retired paper packs both SU!  I also used my Big Shot and my Cuttle bug embossing folder Text and Textile, and my Nestibilities Large Scallop Circle.

The Flowers are Prima and the Ribbon is also SU I adore that peppermint striped Ribbon but it is not only good just at Christmas it is also great for lots of things year round too!!!!

I colored my Image up with these Copics:
R20, R35, R29, and R59
C2, C3, C5, C7, and 100 (Black)

Here is a side view so you can see that Yummy Ribbon better and the dimension on the card too.

I added SU! Rhinestone brads from my SU! Pretties Kit in the flower centers, and the sticker Rhinestones in the corner are from Hobby Lobby.

I wanted to do one of those great swirly patterned rhinestone things everyone uses but I do not own any of the pre made swirl pattern ones and I tried to make my own and it was a horrible mess so I took them all off and just added three single ones to the bottom left corner.

Tomorrow The Rusty Pickle is sponsoring the Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge and most of The Rusty Pickle DT girls are making creations for the Sketch too.

So come back tomorrow for a real eye candy treat!!!!

Have a very very Stampendous Monday All!!!!

Well above is a picture of the Rusty Pickle Freebie Button.  If have this button posted in your side bar with the title Win Rusty Pickle Images Weekly and, you have happened to comment on that post with the surprise image one random commenter will be chosen each week to WIN one of the images of your choice featured in the post that had the Surprise Creation featured in it!!!!!  Wooo Hooo how awesome is that???

So now onto the DT Creations for Today.  Today we will be featuring DT Members Jacquie, Tracy, Ali, and Nancy.

First up is a wonderful New Technique Tracy Happened upon this week printing Digi's on Foil!!!!  Yes she wanted to get a material that was flexible for her project and she happened upon this fun new Technique.  I will let her words explain just what she did here.

I knew I wanted to make a topper for this lovely ornament but my silver card stock was too thick...it would not shape the way I wanted. Soooo....I fed a piece of tin foil through my printer hoping the ink would stick to and it did!!! I knew the ink would stay wet on this surface so I just poured on some embossing powder and heated it up. Lovely texture...
Isn't this pretty? I am just loving this. It opens up a whole new world of printing digis...on who would have "thunk" it....tin foil!!! Trial and error but it worked.

I adore this creation Tracy WAY TO GO!!!!!!  Below is the Cool image Tracy used to Create this Wonderful Ornament Topper.  It is actually a FREE Digi Download right now!!!!  Thanks Michelle!!!!

Now Jacquie has made this lovely Creation using one of the images from our New Release Baby Set that premiered on Thanksgiving Week.

I love all the bright cheery colors that Jacquie used and I love how she used the same sentiment on all her creations for this release.

Here is the image that Jacquie used for her wonderful happy Creation.  You can purchse this Digi alone or with the entire Baby Image Release Here:

Now onto Ali's WONDERFUL Winter Wonderland creation mostly in White I love it to pieces so so creative and pretty!!!!!

I really love how she took that embossed half circle and put the image on it.   I think it reminds me of a Snow Globe the way she did it!!!!!  You can purchase this sweet Digi Here:

Lastly We have Nancy's Perfect Christmas Creation using this wonderful Cardinal Image that Michelle designed recently.  I just adore all the finishing touches that Nancy added that wonderful holly punch and the colors and the sponging on the edges just Perfect!!!!

Here is the image Nancy used to create this wonderful Christmas Card above.  You can purchase this Digi Here:

Last but not least for today is one more Elegant and AMAZING creation by talented Tracy.

All the rich Gold's and the patterns and sparkle, Tracy Added makes this card nothing other than STUNNING!!!!

Se those pearls at the bottom and then Notice how she used two different scalloped circles on gorgeous sparkly papers to matte the sentiment???  Simply gorgeous!!!!

Here is the lovely image that Tracy turned around and printed twice to make that great little decoration below her sentiment!!!  You can purchase this Digi here:

Well that is all for today I will be back on Wednesday with More wonderful Creations by our Talented DT girls!!!!

If you have time to stop by and give the girls some encouragement for all of their hard work on these creations I am sure they would be delighted to see you stop by!!!!

I also took a square of the Metallic Gold Card Stock and embossed it with my CB folder Text and Textile and I die cut the flower with some of my SU! die cuts bottons and bows, and I added a Brilliant Blue Button to the center of the flower.

The Pacific Point Card Stock Square is embossed with my Big Shot and CB embossing foler Swiss Dots and then I took my Metallic Gold Stamp Pad and distressed the edges of the Card Stock with that.  I distressed the small gold square with my Pacific Point Stamp Pad.  The Flower is also embossed with the Swiss Dots embossing folder.

I got out SU Card Stock in Lovely Lilac, Elegant Eggplant, and The Heavy Metallic Silver Shimmery Card Stock SU! sells too.

I used my Cuttle Bug Embossing Folder Stars, and My Nesties Sets Scallop large Rectangle, and the Nesties Shapeabilities Star. I also used my Martha Stewart Boarder Punch the Doily Lace punch.  I added some white sheer organza shimmery ribbon behind the small Star Angels on the Star Nesties.

Here is Star Angel don't you totally love her???

I colored her up using these Copics:
Skin: ROO, E00, E95, RV21
Hair: Y21, Y26, Y28
Dress: V000, V12, V04, V17
Star and Halo: Y02, Y08, Y38

I also painted Angel Wings Shimmerz on all of the Star Angels wings, stars and Halo's too.

I made the small star angels in Black and White, Purple Monochromatic, and Sepia Shades.

Copics:
Black and White: C00, C01, C02, C03, C05, C07, B100
Sepia: E30, E31, E33, E35, E37
Purple Monochromatic: B0000, B000, B00, B01, B02, B04

I was so totally bumed that after I colored up my Big Star Angel and sponged the edges with rub on color and painted the shimmerz on her star, halo, and wings I ran it through my nesties to cut it and it tore the edge so that is my flaw in my card but there was no time to redu her so I had to leave the sad little tear in the Sentiment that comes with Star Angel which Says

When you Wish upon a Star:

Well here is my last side view of Star Angel so you can see the deminsion on the card better.

Well I really hope you play along with us on the hop this month these prizes are amazing amazing amazing!!!!
