Twinkling in St. Louis, ...Louis
Happy Tuesday Everyone!!!! ................................................................................................................................................................ My post is going to be somewhat different than usual as I am am in St. Louis staying with Janna and our computers do some different things so I am not going to be able to link all my team mates, but they are all in my right side bar under Madelynn's Twinkling Tuesday Sketch Challenge Team. If you want to play along with us this week just make up a project using this weeks sketch below and upload it using key word/tags MTTSC31. Leave us a link either on the Twinkling Tuesday Blog or Jessica's Blog (Madelynn's very talented and very fun Mommy) so we can check out your amazing creations as well!!!!! ................................................................................................................................................................... This week we have a sketch from Madelynn herself again, and boy did she come up with this great Sketch for us although I must say it is quite a doozy of a sketch if you ask me!!!!! WOW the things these kids come up with!!!! .......................................................................................................................................................................... Now for my Twinkle Team members I added some pictures of Janna Hull, Jess D. (Fellow Twinklers), and I some of them were on my blog yesterday and if you want to read about our Hilarious Story about our weekend, when we met up to teach the Class at the Scrap Book store, and our fun time, read the post below!!!!! I have so enjoyed coming and staying with Janna and meeting Jess and we just have had so much fun!!!!! .....................................................................................................................................................................
Jess, Janna, and I on Saturday after teaching a Copic Coloring Class at a Scrap Book Store in Bloomington Ill. You have to read the post below to find out how in the world we all ended up wearing the same outfit coming from 3 different states!!! It was a total Hoot!!!!!
Janna and I that night right before bed boy were we tired!!!! I had driven 8 hours the day before by myself to get to St. Louis and then that morning we took off at 7am to go to Bloomington a 3 hour drive from St. Louis to teach the class and meet up with Jess.
Above you can see our 3 pairs of Dark Wash Jeans in 3 different lengths!!! I had the Pink Flip Flops on, Janna had the red shoes on, and Jess had the Black Flip Flops on. .......................................................................................................................................................................... Now for this weeks sketch!!! WOWZA is all I can say!!!! Great job on this Madelynn and I loved doing it!!!! ................................................................................................................................................................ When I saw this Zig Zag paper of Janna's today I knew it would be perfect for Madelynn's Sketch!!! .........................................................................................................................................................................
Below is my take on the sketch I had planned to use one of Jess's Sentiments from her new stamp set but there was no room in the end so I just made this card up and left the sentiment off. I did add one of Jess's Butterfly's though!!!!
Now here is my Card. I colored the girls up with my Copics on Neenah paper and used Dew Drops for the embellies. I used Jess's new set she designed for The Greeting Farm and the Miss Anya set # 2 from TGF as well. Rain Anya's Hair is done in Base Color YR02, Then YR09, and E08 as shading and blending. Summer Anya's Hair is done in Y21, Y26, E31, and E33. If you would like to know any of the other shades just e-mail me or leave a comment and I will let you know what colors I used!!!! Normally I would type them all out but I am short on time tonight!!!! LOL!!!!!
Here you can see some of the Dimension this paper was so cool thanks to Janna for loaning me paper so I could do my Twinkling Card!!! I had planned to leave a day earlier so I did not bring any paper with me!!!! ............................................................................................................................................................. Well I better go get some sleep as Janna and I will be busy in the morning and then I am driving the 8 hours back home. I will be home for one day and then heading out to my Mother In Laws, and Father In Law's farm which is in Kansas up towards the Nebraska boarder, to pick up the kidos since my MIL has been kind enough to watch them so I could come on this fun trip!!!! I am also going up to attendand my only Niece's Birthday Party. That should be fun and the kids are really missing me as I am missing them a lot too!!!! .................................................................................................................................................................... Have a Stampendous Tuesday and see you tomorrow for Flutter By Wednesday!!!! .................................................................................................................................................................. I'm Staying on Vacation!!! Hellllloooooo from St. Louis, and a few cool pics of Janna, Jess, and I !!!! You have to read this Hilarious Story!!!

O.K. I am at Janna's and for some reason my post is refusing to put lines between my paragraphs??? I even hit enter 5 times after every page break but it is not putting the page breaks in??? Sorry for the big long jumbled mess!!!!! .......................................................................................................................................................... This first picture here is of me and Janna being Silly showing our matching outfits so we look pretty goofy!!!! LOL!!!!!!! We totally did not plan these outfits we just all ended up wearing the same thing coming from 3 different states!!!!!! .....................................................................................................................................
Well I am in St. Louis staying with my good friend Janna from Stamps, Paper, and Glitter Oh My Blog. We are having a blast!!!! Now the 7 1/2 hours drive here from Kansas by myself was not so much fun, but the rest has been lots of fun!!!!!
........................................................................................................................................... So Janna and I headed out yesterday to Bloomington Ill. to teach a Scrap Book Class at a really great Scrap Book Store there!!!! We met up with Jess our other good friend (The Whimsical Butterfly Blog) in Bloomington. Jess came from Chicago which was about 2 1/2 hours drive to Bloomington and that is about what we drove to get there too!!!! .................................................................................................................................................. Jann and Jess are going to be teaching the class every 6 weeks or so and I had a blast helping them with the class they had 13 people doing the cards!!!! The class was basically a class on how to color with Copics but using The Greeting Farm images it was lots of fun and the people there loved it!!!! .............................................................................................................................................................. So the funny part was Janna got up about an hour before I did I got up around 6am to get ready and she got up around 5am so when I came up stairs we both had on Black Shirts and Dark Wash Jean bottoms the only difference was Janna's were Capri's and mine were Bermuda shorts in length. We laughed so hard and her Hubby said wouldn't it be a riot if Jess wore the same thing too!!!!! ......................................................................................................................................................... Janna and I said there is no way that will happen Jess always wears bright colors!!!!! So while we were on our way Jess called and I said Jess what are you wearing??? She said well I have a Black Shirt.... That was all I heard and I busted up laughing Black? How in the world did we do that??? So I asked what color her pants were and she said Dark Wash Jeans and I busted up laughing again!!!!! So Jess had full length Jeans, Janna had Capri length Dark was jeans, and I had Bermuda Shorts Dark wash Jeans on, and we all had on Black flowy shirts on!!!! That will not happen in a million years again. However Janna almost lost it when she put on her Purple shirt and khaki shorts today and I came up in my Dark Purple Shirt and black Capri's!!!!!! So maybe it will happen again soon???? ......................................................................................................................................................
Me in the Pink and White flip flops, Janna in the red shoes, and Jess in the black flip flops!!!! We took this picture to show our Dark Wash Jeans x 3!!!!!
Here we are all 3 of us sorry for the weird picture there were some things that needed cropped out of the picture but you can kind of see the store behind us!!!!!! ...................................................................................................................................................... Janna and Jess asked if I would come back in August to do it again and I said if I can find someone to watch the 3 kids for a day while Marvin is at work, I will it was so much fun!!!!! This time though Janna and Jess want me to bring my good friend Emily (Buzzy Blogger Blog) who also lives in Hutchinson KS with me and is a Fellow Nurse/SU Down line/ Good Good Friend. Emily is going to see if she can get the day off work!!!! It would be so so much fun!!!!! Janna said today Heather can you imagine if we have Emily, You, Jess and I we would be up all night having a slumber party and a pillow fight!!!!! We told Jason if we do this he might want to go visit his parents in Kansas City that weekend with Izzy!!! LOL!!!! ................................................................................................................................................... Now for the last pictures Today Janna and I went shopping for Kids clothes for back to school and we came across this 80's store for girls and we had so much fun. Normally I would not put my girls in such bright and Funky outfits but How do you resist not getting your daughter. this memory or blast from the past look???? I know I just could not do it!!!!! ................................................................................................................................................... The T Shirt is long and Fluorescent Pink, The Skirt is the Tooling like a Ballerina's Tu Tu along with ruffled layers x3, and Silver Beads throughout the tooling, the Leggings are White with Fluorescent Pink Lace at the Bottom, and Fluorescent Pink and Black Cheetah Print as well. The Tennie's are Silver Sequined with Fluorescent Pink insides and High Top Converse, and the extra shoe laces are Black and Fluorescent Pink Zebra Print, along with some Fluorescent Jelly Bracelets and Fluorescent Finger Nail Polish as well!!!! LOL!!!! Can you say this outfit is Rad??? To use a word from my Generation??? LOL!!!! ...................................................................................................................................................................... This is one of Willow's Outfits The Black Red, Silver and White one above This is Willow's Crazy outfit and the Nail Polish again along with the Peace Jelly Bracelet!!! The Leggings are awesome they have Fluorescent Blue, Pink, Yellow, Green, and Orange Peace signs all over them!!!! The are amazing!!!!! ........................................................................................................................................................................ Now for the rest of their school clothes??? I went to the Gymboree outlet and bought them very sweet pretty clothes but I had to get a few 80's pieces Janna and I had the best time picking these out!!! I wish you could have been there!!!!! ....................................................................................................................................................... Well I am staying an extra day so tomorrow Janna and I have a few things to do and then we have to make our Twinkling Tuesday Cards and Oh Man they are going to be a doozy this week!!!! Madelynn is making us work for our DT title this week!!!! ............................................................................................................................................................ Have a Stampendous Monday and see you back tomorrow for Twinkling Tuesday!!!!!! ......................................................................................................................................................... Now on to my project for the week. I choose to use Princess Ally this week for my Project. For some reason I was also in the mood to do a Monochromatic Card too. I embossed two of the layers with my Cuttle Bug folders Textile, and D'vine Swirls
Now here is my Major Beef. I love love love love shimmerz!!! I really love to use it and I really love how pretty it makes your projects!!! I used to be able to get these amazing pictures when I used it and lately I can not for the life of me get a Shimmerz View of something??? I do not know what happened I am still doing the same things in the same lighting situations and I just can not get a good shimmerz view???? So what happened to my Shimmerz show-ability??? Hmmm????
.......
I think I took 10 pictures trying to get the right view but the one above and below are the best and they only sort of show you how pretty it is!!!! I first colored the image up and then I painted on Lilac Shimmerz onto her underskirt and the top of her gown, and then the middle part of her crown.

I colored her dress using: B00, B02, B08, V12, V04, V08 and Lilac Shimmerz.

Her Sink is: R00, E00, E95, and RV21

Her Hair is: E31, E37, E39

Rainbow Fairytales - Flutter By Wednesday time

Rainbow Fairy Tales

....

for Flutter By

It is Flutter By Wednesday time and this week our sweet talented team Mate Michelle issued us the challenge to use Buttons, Bows, and Ribbon on our cards.
.......
I thought that challenge sounded really fun, and I have been wanting to use the Fairy Belle image from The Character Cafe on a Flutter By Card for a while now. Fairy Bell is the best of both worlds for FBW because she is both a Butterfly and a Fairy in looks!!!! Wooo Hooo!!!!
.......
When you are done visiting me don't forget to go out and see my totally talented and great Flutterby Team Mates as well, I know they will blow your socks off with their creations too!!!!
........
This week we said Good Bye to Kimmie and welcomed Taylor Ursy onto the FBW team so Welcome Taylor!!!! Taylor is also on the Twinkling Tuesday team with me!
.......
Flutter By Wednesday Featured Stamper Team:

......

So onto my card this week. I have been wanting to color Bell up in Rainbow colors and that is just what I did. At first I was just going to color her wings in Rainbows, and then as I was doing it I did not know how I wanted her outfit so it joined the Rainbow theme too!!! LOL!!!!
.......

I used some pretty lace edged wedding ribbon from Hobby lobby along with my all time favorite ribbon my silver shimmer wired ribbon for the bows.

.......

You can not see quite how pretty it looked but I created this flower with my Nesties but my neighbor had our Big Shot so I had to trace and cut out the shapes, and at first I did the outside of the shapes and then when I had them cut out I ended up tracing some of the inside of the shapes to cut out instead!!! LOL!!!!! The flower was originally meant to be on the Front of the card but in the end I just could not figure out where I wanted it that I liked it with the ribbon and bows and Fairy Belle so I used it to decorate the inside of my card instead!!! So my Button is on the inside!!!

Here is Fairy Belle close up. I would list all my copics but man that would take forever since I shaded each piece and each color so I used a lot of copics!!! If you wonder what any of them are though leave me a comment and I will e-mail you the colors!!!

.......

Well it is a busy day I have to run and finish packing up the kiddo's tonight after work Hubby is taking them an hour away to meet his mom and she will keep them at the farm while I head on off to St. Louis to meet up with my Twinkling Friends Janna and Jess!!! Wooo Hooo!!!! I am sure I will have lots of stories to tell you when I get back!!!!

.......

Twinkling Sand at the Beach with some Cute Boys!!! - It's Twinkling Time!!!

Kick up some Twinkling Sand
.......
At the Beach!!!
Happy Tuesday Everyone!!!!
.......
Well it is Twinkling Tuesday's Here on my blog which normally means I get to show you my DT sample of the sketch from talented 9 year old Madelynn. This week however one of Madelynn's 7 year old twin brothers Jack made our sketch for us and it was a fun one!!!
.......
When you get done here do not forget to check out all my wonderful team mates!!! I am especially honored this week because in just a few days I will be heading out to St. Louis and then to Bloomington Ill. to meet up with two of my Twinkling Team mates Jessica who is Madelynn's Mommy, and Janna fellow Twinkler!!!! I will be staying Thursday through Sunday or Monday with Janna in St. Louis, but on Saturday Janna and I are heading out to Bloomington Ill. to meet up with Jess and they have a Copic/Card making Class they are teaching at a Scrap Book Store there and I will be helping them this time around. They teach classes there every 6 weeks or so now.
.......
So wish me Luck, my Hubby keeps giving me a hard time that Janna could be an Ax Murderer for all I know since I have never met her in person even though we talk almost every day on the phone!!! LOL!!!!
.......
Jess (who stayed with Janna last month) assures me there is only one Ax in the house and it is in the Guest room so I should be well protected against anyone lurking in the night outside my door!!!! LOL!!!!
.......
This week we said Good Bye To Kimmie and to Heather Lee-Repen on the Twinkling Team Heather may be back later as she is taking a leave of Absence. We are also welcoming back original MTT team mate Taylor Ursy link below. It is funny I am saying good bye to Kimmie and saying Hello to Taylor on two teams this week both Flutter By, and Twinkling how weird hungh???
.......
The "Twinkle Team"
.......
.......
........
Here is the great sketch Jack gave us this week. I only added one panel to the sketch because I wanted to use both of my images I had colored up.
So here is my take on the sketch this week. I interpreted the tied pieces on the top of the sketch to be braided Twine to go along with the Nautical/Beach theme of my images and papers!! ....... I colored the images up with my Copics in these colors: Roo, Eoo, E95, E31, E35, E37, E39, Y11, Y08, Y38, YR04, YR09, B21, B24, G03, G06, C2, C5, C7 I have all these colors of Sand that I bought at Hobby Lobby years ago thinking I could use them in my scrap booking some how and I actually have used them several times, but when I had the perfect card for them I had no sand in sight??? Hmmm where would you be in my house if you were colored sand???
.......
So anyway I had to use Tan Flock to make the sand and I put it on the card with liquid glue.
.......
I took Twine again and braided it half way then left the three strands on each section tied and then tied again at the other end then I got some cool paper with a need braidy/twiny feeling of ropes with the colors scheme in it from one of my SU retired paper packs Jersy Shore and attached the braided twine in between the colors of the roped paper. This is my take on the bottom section of the card and at the very bottom the asterisk part of the sketch I added some star buttons in the colors I used for this card too.
.......

My Flash sort of washed out the image above he has a much darker pail and much more shading but I had to take the picture after dark and I needed to use my flash sorry!!!!

.......

above is a view of the top part of the card. What I did was take one piece of twine and then on either end I added two smaller pieces of twine and tied them together then I braided the twine down both sides and tied them again when they ran out. I was sort of proud of how it turned out!!!!

above is image #2 and you can see the (Flock Sand) he is standing in.

.......

So that about does it for me today I hope you play along with us this week and if you do remember to upload it using keywords MTTSC30 when you upload!!!

.......

I have a ton of packing to do as I am meeting Marvin's Mom and she is taking the 3 kiddo's to the Farm for a few days while I am gone. Marvin would watch them but I will be gone parts of 3 weekdays and he has to work as they are still at the end of Harvest and very busy doing all the Grain Accounting that comes along with 500 farmers Harvesting at one time!!!!

.......

Have a Stampendous Tuesday and you will see me back tomorrow for my Flutter By Wednesday Card, and my Digi Delights New Sketch for this week and then I will have to post my Character Cafe Card from Janna's house for Friday!!!!

Capturing the Perfect Moment - 4th of July pictures and our kiddo's

Amazing 4th of July Photo's
What did you do for the 4th of July???
.......
Well in the Morning Marvin took all 3 kiddo's to the 4th of July Parade down town. They stayed about an hour and a half and then Tucker was done watching even though the parade was no where near being done!!! LOL!!!!
.......
While they went to the parade Mommy got to do things like take a shower with no interruptions!!! Wooo Hoooo how often does that happen when you have 3 kids??? I got to get ready and take my time which was nice!!! LOL!!!
.......
When the kids got home we headed over to Grandma Paula's (O.K. as Piper finally has figured out recently Grandma Paula is not her real Grandma, - I dated "Grandma Paula's son for 8 years and we became really close she became my "Adoptive" Mom when the son and I broke up Paula and I did not!!!!! The kids have always had an extra set of Grand parents. They are just now figuring out after 7 years that they are an extra set but the kiddo's say they do not care they are always going to be their Grandma Paula and Poppy Richard!!!)
.......
So we went to Paula's house and had lunch and then the kids swam in their pool and then it was time for Tucker to take a nap. So Marvin and I brought Tucker back home and the girls stayed then that evening we went and got some fire works went back to Paula's for super (left over party food) and then all of us headed back to our house to do the Fire works. Paula and Richard have a shake shingle wood roof and really did not want their roof catching fire!!! LOL!!!!
.......
Right now Paula and Richard have two of their Grand kids Darian and Harley living with them while Dad and Mom get some things straight in their lives. Anyway when they had Darian and Harley last time they were 3 and 5 years old and we had them at our house pretty often. Piper was only 1 year old then so people really thought when we went places we had a family of 5 because they fit right in with our kids (or kid at the time) Darian is now 11, and Harley is 9, ours are Piper 7, Willow 5, and Tucker 2 they had a lot of fun with the Fireworks!!!!
So anyway I got some great photo's with my Professional SLR Cannon Digital Camera and I thought you might enjoy them too!!!
.......
I did not get a chance to make any creations to show you but I thought the pictures would be enough for today!!! I will be back tomorrow with my Madelynn's Twinkling Tuesday Design Team Sample!!!
.......
I hope you and your family had as much fun as we did!!!!
.......
Once again God Bless America and our Troops both here and over seas!!!!!
.......
Piper Tucker and Willow in the Morning in one of our side Yards. Off to the right is Marvin's Work vehicle.
Willow right before we did Fireworks in our (mega long can hold 4 cars length wise, and 2 to 3 cars width wise) winding driveway.
Piper Willow and Tucker picking leaves (I don't know why???)
Piper right before fireworks she was sort of sun burned from swimming all day.
Grandma Paula Helping Tucker to do one of those "Safer" Sparklers. Tucker loved loved loved Fireworks and it was all Paula and I could do to keep him back and away from where he could get hurt!!!!
Piper and Grandma Paula My always posing for pictures Willow!!!! Darian and Harley
Willow and her first Sparkler Piper Darian and Harley doing Sparklers
O.K. O.K. , I have learned that with 3 kiddos you are rarely ever going to get that perfect picture!!!! You can have them all dressed cute and never get that 1 picture where they are all adorable!!!! I do not know how some parent do it!!!!
.......
In the first picture Grandma does not look so Hot, but the kids look better and in the 2nd picture Grandma looks good and the kids don't look so hot Tucker actually looks like he is picking both nostrils but that is not what he was doing!!!! LOL!!!!
Tucker Having Fun with the Sparkler
Darian
Piper and Willow
I think Tucker looks sweet here. He and Willow were sitting with Poppy Richard. The kids in the morning. Harley
Willow

Finally Darian other than the very first picture above my writing this one was one of my favorites!!! of the fireworks anyway!!!!

.......

Have a Stampendous Monday All!!!! I hope you enjoyed the pictures!!!!!

So onto my creation. As this store immediately made me think - Wedding of course one of the first stamps I think of when I am thinking Wedding is my The Greeting Farm Cake Topper Set!!!! It was also appropriate because Marie the owner of The Greeting Farm is getting Married this weekend!!! Wooo Hooo and Congratulations Marie!!!
.......
So I thought of Gray and Purely Pomegranate for my main colors and then I used my new SU Fifth Avenue Floral Embossing Folder and my big shot to emboss the large Rose patterns on the card. I distressed the raised portions with Purely Pomegranate Ink to bring out the image.
.......
I also added some flowers and Pearls from my SU Pretties kit, and some dew drops from my Silver Dew Drops Set. You can see how distressing that SU Fifth Avenue Floral Embossing Folder with ink really makes it POP!!!!

I stamped the image up in Memento Ink, and then colored it with my copics. Not all the shading on his suit is showing up and there are parts of the suit that are much darker than it looks but the colors I used to color them in are as follows:

.......

Hair Bride: Y00, Y04, Y08, Y11

.......

Hair Groom: E53, E35, E37, E39

.......

Tux: C2, C3, C5, C7, B100

.......

So since the Tutorial for the Week featured Beavers I just had to use this super cute image from The Character Cafe
.......
First I took a Whisper White piece of SU card stock and then I sponged on Bashful Blue and Bordering Blue SU inks with some Whisper White accents to create the clouds.
.......
Next I took some Old Olive and Garden Green SU inks and sponged the grassy areas. Then I took some Close to Co Co, and some Chocolate Chip SU inks to make the road he is driving on.
.......
Last I used Garden Green and Close to Co Co SU markers and inked the Tree Stamps and stamped the trees to finish off the Scene in the Background.
.......
If you love this image as much as I do, then do not forget to head on over to The Character Cafe Store and pick him up for your collection too!!!!
.......

For the actual image I colored him up with R20, R29, and R35, G24, G29, and YG95, C1, C2, C3, C5, C7, B100, E33, E35, E39, B21, B24, B29 Copics.

.......

He was so much fun to color up and cut out. I cut the inside of the cab out so you can see the sky behind the image. I popped up the image with a double layer of SU Stampin Dimensionals.

.......

Well the Kiddo's are really wanting me to go outside and play in the water with them so I better oblige them!!!!

SU Stampers Club Projects - Happy 4th of July and Summer Fun Themes!!!

Stamping for the 4th of July
Happy Thursday All,
.......
Well last Sunday was my monthly Stampin Up Stampers Club. I designed 2 projects with a 4th of July Theme, and 1 project with a Summer Fun theme. Actually I can not take Credit for the Summer Fun Watermelon Card my Good Friend/Next Door Neighbor/SU Down Line Tasha designed that card as part of her Cards of the Month Club.
.......
As I was designing the cards I ended up making 2 versions of the 4th of July Card, and 3 different Versions of the Watermelon/Summer Fun Card.
.......
So here is my Favorite of the 3 Projects. It is a Paper purse made in 4th of July theme. The Colors are actually Night of Navy, Real Red, and Whisper White. This picture shows the colors much brighter and lighter then they are in real life.
.......
I had just received my New SU eyelet lace punch and I used that on the two red pieces. The actual Purse is all Night of Navy.
.......
To make this purse take a 8 1/2" x 11" piece of Night of Navy card stock. Score it from top to bottom the long length at 1 1/2" and at 7"
.......
Then Score it again from top to bottom of the short side (width) at 4 1/2" and 6 1/2"'s When this is all done on each side of the long side (length) there will actually be a square with all the score marks. Cut with your scissors along the two side of the square with scor marks on each side so when you go to fold the purse together the flaps you just cut will fold up into the purse.
.......
Take Sticky Strip (or some people call it red line tape) and attach all the sides so the flat paper folds into a purse.
Now you take a Whisper White 2"x4 1/2" piece of Card stock and roll it with the Jumbo SU Wheel Classic Stars in Real Red ink. Attach both pieces on either side of the purse.
The Classic Stars Wheel Can be ordered from my Demonstrator Business web site (link off to the right in my upper right hand column just click on the picture of the SU catalog to get to my Business Web site address.
.......
Now take 2 pieces of Real Red Card Stock 1 1/2" by 4 1/2" and punch the boarder with the SU eyelet lace punch. Lastly take your white SU Gel Pen and punch holes down the sides and top and bottom of the red pieces (all sides but the punched side) and after you do the paper piercing draw lines with your white Gel pen to make the Faux sewing technique.
.......
Attach the Star pieces and the front pieces of Real Red Card Stock on the sides and front of the purse with glue dots in each corner.
.......
Now punch out a Large Star with the SU large Star punch and use the same faux sewing technique around the edges of the star. I then took one of my small star stamps and stamped it in Night of Navy ink and then punched it out with the small star punch. Lastly I took a SU silver diamond shaped brad and punched a whole through both stars then put the brad in both layers and then took one SU stampin demensional and put it on the back of the two stars then attached it to the front of the purse.
.......
I attached the Red Sheer Organza Ribbon on both sides with a piece of sticky strip along the inside, and then added a black brad on the outside for show.
.......
The Purse and the Flag Card can be used as a gift set or as singles.
Above are both designs of the Flag Card. They are virtually just opposite of each other.
.......
I took a Whisper White Card Stock back and then rolled one end of the card with the Classic Stars Wheel in real red ink. Then I took a piece of Night of Navy piece and punched both sides with the SU eyelet lace boarder punch then I took some stips of torn real red card stock and put them on the other side. I punched out 3 small star punches with the SU punch and then distressed them with real red ink. I attached the piece of Red sheer organza ribbon with glue dots and the stars with SU Stampin Deminsionals.
.......
Below are the 3 Water Melon Cards. The first card is Tasha's actual design the the other two I tweaked just a bit.
.......

The DSP is SU retired Bella Blooms paper. The card back is SU Kraft paper I took my Canvas Background stamp and randomly ran Real Red ink over it and then stamped the card back, then I randomly ran Basic Black ink over the Canvas background (by doing it randomly you get the worn distressed look.)

This card I drew my own seeds with my SU Basic Back Journaler Marker. The other two cards I borrowed an old retired seed stamp from Tasha. On the above card I took this paper from a retired SU textured DSP pack then I ran it through my big shot using the CB embossing folder Bloom Dots.
.......
I also stamped my sentiment from my SU set Smarty Pants onto Whisper White Card Stock then distressed it with Real Red and Basic Black Ink.
.......
On all 3 Cards the Water Melon's were made using my SU Circle Scissors Cutter in Ki Wi Kiss and Real Red Card stock. The rounded edge of the Real Red layer is distressed using whisper white craft ink.
.......

Below are all 3 cards together.

.......
Well I better get back to taking care of the kiddo's and getting something done, but I hope you have a very Stampendous Holiday weekend!!! I am hoping Marvin will finally have a day off it will be his first day off in over 3 weeks if he does!!!! Aaaa the joys of having a Husband in Grain Management!!!!
.......
I will be back tomorrow with my The Character Cafe Feature Friday Card!!!!
